Beloveth child of God, for the Father not to leave you, you must always be willing to do those things that please him.

John 8:29;
And he that sent me is with me: the Father hath not left me alone; for I do always those things that please him.

How can you know the things that please God?

You know the things that please God by the leading of the Holy Ghost.

John 16:13-14;
[13] Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.
[14] He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you.

Truth brings glory to God.
Living in truth is when your heart is in agreement with what your mouth is saying and not the other way round.

Jonah 3:8;
But let man and beast be covered with sackcloth, and cry mightily unto God: yea, let them turn every one from his evil way, and from the violence that is in their hands.
Jonah 4:1;
[1] But it displeased Jonah exceedingly, and he was very angry.

Still using Jonah as a case study, Jonah preached the truth but lived in lie because his words were not in agreement with his heart.

He manifested the word to the people of Nineveh but the word never had impact on him.
The name of Jesus and the word of God are potent enough to produce result in themself at their usage, but for the preacher or vessel to be part of the beneficiaries, he/she must be aligned to the same gospel.

He/she must both do and preach (teach) the word else after manifesting to others like Jonah, you become a cast away.

Breaking News: Orashi National Congress to Confer Prestigious Award on Lt Col. David D. Omale

The Orashi National Congress (ONC), the umbrella body representing the interests of the Orashi region in Rivers State, has announced the conferment of an Award of Excellence on Forward Operation Base Commander Ahoada, in recognition of his outstanding contributions to the security and progress of Rivers State.

In a formal letter addressed to the FOB Commander, the ONC highlighted his dedication and remarkable service to the Orashi region in the discrete discharge of his duties, particularly in the fight against illegal bunkery (KPO FIRE), and other anti social vices in the region.

The award will be presented during a grand investiture ceremony scheduled for February 14, 2025, at the Rubitex Event Center in Ahoada, Ahoada East Local Government Area. The event will also celebrate other distinguished personalities, including Her Excellency, Prof. Ngozi Nma Odu, DSSRS, Deputy Governor of Rivers State.

Beloveth child of God, how rooted are you in God?

Jonah 3:8;
But let man and beast be covered with sackcloth, and cry mightily unto God: yea, let them turn every one from his evil way, and from the violence that is in their hands.
Jonah 4:1-3;
[1] But it displeased Jonah exceedingly, and he was very angry.
[2] And he prayed unto the LORD, and said, I pray thee, O LORD, was not this my saying, when I was yet in my country? Therefore I fled before unto Tarshish: for I knew that thou art a gracious God, and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repentest thee of the evil.
[3] Therefore now, O LORD, take, I beseech thee, my life from me; for it is better for me to die than to live.

Just like Jonah, we have seen and heard of men who were full of fire, zeal and vigor for God, caused revival and after a while, suddenly disappear into air.

For the fact that you pray and people fall under anointing, get healed, see deep revelations and so on, is not enough reason to celebrate.

Listen to what Jesus told his disciples in Luke 10:19-20;
[19] Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
[20] Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.

The greatest joy of man should be the constant affirmation that his/her name is still written in the Book of Life.

[3] Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
[4] Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
[5] Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

We are in a generation where men seeks to become forces to reckon with but have no place for God in their entire plan even though they call his name.

Jonah caused great revival in the great city of Nineveh, he desired to be known as a great prophet who’s words come with instant manifestation. But Jonah as a seed whom God wanted to plant and nourish into a mighty tree of righteousness was not rooted in God who is the Soil that makes men.

The President General of the Orashi National Congress (ONC), Amb. Comr. Emeni Ibe, APJP, has reconfirmed that all arrangements are in place for the highly anticipated Grand Investiture Ceremony honoring Her Excellency, Prof. Ngozi Nma Odu, DSSRS, the Deputy Governor of Rivers State, as the Grand Patroness of the Congress.

Speaking to journalists after a final review meeting in Port Harcourt, Amb. Comr. Ibe reaffirmed that the event will take place as scheduled:

Bible did not say harvest time and seed time but the other way round. When a man choose to destroy the steps of the larder that is meant to take him to the top, that man may never get to the top or he may even die waiting for an imaginary larder.

Every good thing in life have principles for attainment and as such, you cannot get the best of a thing until you follow the right path.

The untamed desire for flamboyant lifestyle amongst believers is the greatest trigger of modern abominations.

Those who failed or sowed sparingly into their lives never amount to anything significant in life because God’s word can not be broken.

To such individuals, no matter the amount of money or opportunities that come their way, they will misuse it and return to who they are.

You cannot grow above your mentality.

In as much as we acknowledge the presence of demonic powers and manipulations, we cannot overrule the power of self development.

Christianity does not encourage laziness, else God would not promised to blessed the works of our hands.
Deuteronomy 2:7;
For the LORD thy God hath blessed thee in all the works of thy hand: he knoweth thy walking through this great wilderness: these forty years the LORD thy God hath been with thee; thou hast lacked nothing.

Beloveth child of God, if your service is weighed on the balance, will it be found worthy of good reward?

How does God weigh the works of men?

Jeremiah 17:10-11;
[10] I the LORD search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings.
[11] As the partridge sitteth on eggs, and hatcheth them not; so he that getteth riches, and not by right, shall leave them in the midst of his days, and at his end shall be a fool.

God weighs both the intent and the doings (acts) of every man and rewards based on these two criteria.

Your doings may be pleasant in the eyes of men but, if your intentions which are not visible to men for that action are wrong, you will not get your reward.

Jeremiah 17:9;
[9] The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?

Jonah 3:6-7,10;
[6] For word came unto the king of Nineveh, and he arose from his throne, and he laid his robe from him, and covered him with sackcloth, and sat in ashes.
[7] And he caused it to be proclaimed and published through Nineveh by the decree of the king and his nobles, saying, Let neither man nor beast, herd nor flock, taste any thing: let them not feed, nor drink water:

Jonah 4:1,3

Jonah would have been one of the most revered prophets if not for his wicked intentions, because, his preaching brought revival that transcend from humans down to animals.

Those who do things for God’s sake enjoys divine immunity and supernatural supplies because their attitude conforms to the divine principle of supply.

Matthew 6:33;
But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Matthew 19:29-30;
[29] And every one that hath forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name's sake, shall receive an hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life.
[30] But many that are first shall be last; and the last shall be first.

These are divine principles of supply.

Seeking and forsaking are things of the heart.

Sometimes you see a brother or a sister that is very zealous with the things of God outwardly, yet things are not working out.

Instead of judging wrongly, go to God to show you the persons heart.

Jonah did preached as commanded, won a great city but without a willing heart.

Psalms 23:1-6;
[1] The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.
[2] He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
[3 ] HE RESTORETH MY SOUL: HE LEADETH ME IN THE PATHS OF RIGHTEOUSNESS FOR HIS NAME’S SAKE.
[4] Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
[5] Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
[6] Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.

If you look at verse 3 of Psalms 23, the psalmist said the LORD shall do all these things for His name sake.

If we can just decide to live a life of God-first, that is when goodness and mercy shall become your companion and body guard.

Body guards do follow their bosses wherever they go, that is exactly how God assigned the angels of goodness and mercy to follow those who do things for his name sake.

David declared in Psalms 37:25;
I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.

This was after practical examination of his life.

The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

God is never slack in his promise, but the issue is man’s unwillingness and impatience.

Orashi National Congress Lauds LGA Chairmen for Good Governance in First 100 Days

The Orashi National Congress (ONC), the foremost socio-cultural and political advocacy organization for the Orashi region, has commended the Executive Chairmen of the four Local Government Areas within the region for their commendable governance in their first 100 days in office.

In a statement signed by its President General, Amb. Comrade Emeni Ibe (JP AP), the ONC expressed profound gratitude for the visionary leadership demonstrated by:

Hon. Chibudhom Rizzy Ezu Hezekial, Executive Chairman of Ahoada East LGA,

Hon. Iyekor Ikporo, Executive Chairman of Ahoada West LGA,

Hon. Prince Isaac Umejuru, Executive Chairman of ONELGA, and

Hon. Vincent Obu, Executive Chairman of Abua/Odual LGA.

The ONC emphasized that the proactive leadership, commitment to peace, and development-oriented approach of these Chairmen have significantly improved the lives of residents within the region.

Beloveth child of God, in everything you do, let the basis be the desire to allow God have his way and you will see his hand all around you.

Jonah 4:1-3;
[1] But it displeased Jonah exceedingly, and he was very angry.
[2] And he prayed unto the LORD, and said, I pray thee, O LORD, was not this my saying, when I was yet in my country? Therefore I fled before unto Tarshish: for I knew that thou art a gracious God, and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repentest thee of the evil.
[3] Therefore now, O LORD, take, I beseech thee, my life from me; for it is better for me to die than to live.

Isaiah 55:8-9;
[8] For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.
[9] For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

In Jonah’s case , he was able to rightly discern what the desire of God towards Nineveh was but deliberately wanted his will to supersede that of God but little did Jonah knew that the repentance of Nineveh was the pathway to his glory.

Some times we so desire that our revelations, dreams and words come to pass that we forget the place of repentance.

Neniveh believed God by the words which Jonah preached and got saved, but Jonah the preacher never got his reward.

Beloved child of God, it is not enough to obey but willing obedience is what the Lord desires.

Jonah 4:1-3;
[1] But it displeased Jonah exceedingly, and he was very angry.
[2] And he prayed unto the LORD, and said, I pray thee, O LORD, was not this my saying, when I was yet in my country? Therefore I fled before unto Tarshish: for I knew that thou art a gracious God, and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repentest thee of the evil.
[3] Therefore now, O LORD, take, I beseech thee, my life from me; for it is better for me to die than to live.

This is one reason why many believers are impoverished and even die in abject poverty.

Jonah’s anger was that it should be according to what he desired and not God’s.

God desired repentance which Jonah was very much aware but his desire was that it should happen as he has spoken so that he will be feared.

What is the essence of preaching if there is no desire to turn men back to God?
What is the essence of prophecy if there is no desire to exhort, reprove and edify?

Beloveth child of God, in everything you do, let the basis be the desire to allow God have his way and you will see his hand all around you.

Jonah operated with anger and never received his allocation even in his divine location.

Beloveth child of God, deal decisively with anger before it stops you.

James 1:20-22;
[20] For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God.
[21] Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls.
[22] But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.

Every assignment God gives to a man is either accounted to him for righteousness or unrighteousness based on how the person handles it.

Since the wrath of man works not the righteousness of God, then it is pertinent we rid ourselves of it to enable us handle the affairs of God with joy.

Jonah 3:3-6,10;
[3] So Jonah arose, and went unto Nineveh, according to the word of the LORD. Now Nineveh was an exceeding great city of three days' journey.
[4] And Jonah began to enter into the city a day's journey, and he cried, and said, Yet forty days, and Nineveh shall be overthrown.
[5] SO THE PEOPLE OF NINEVEH BELIEVED GOD, AND PROCLAIMED A FAST, AND PUT ON SACKCLOTH, FROM THE GREATEST OF THEM EVEN TO THE LEAST OF THEM.
[6] For word came unto the king of Nineveh, and he arose from his throne, and he laid his robe from him, and covered him with sackcloth, and sat in ashes.
[10] And God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way; and God repented of the evil, that he had said that he would do unto them; and he did it not.

Orashi National Congress Indefinitely Postpones Grand Investiture Ceremony

The Orashi National Congress (ONC) has announced the indefinite postponement of the highly anticipated Grand Investiture Ceremony originally scheduled to take place on Friday, January 17, 2025, at the EGI Women Development Center, Akabuka, Onelga, Rivers State.

The ceremony was planned to honor Her Excellency, Prof. Ngozi Nma Odu, DSSRS, Deputy Governor of Rivers State, as the Grand Patroness of the Orashi National Congress. The event was expected to host prominent dignitaries, including His Excellency Sir Siminalayi Fubara, GSSRS, Governor of Rivers State, and other distinguished guests and stakeholders from the region.

In a statement issued by the President General of the ONC, Amb. Comr. Emeni Ibe, AP, JP, the Congress expressed regret over the postponement and extended apologies to all invited guests, stakeholders, and members of the public.

The announcement did not specify reasons for the indefinite postponement, but it assured that the decision was made in the best interest of the Congress and all involved parties. The ONC further pledged to provide updates and a new date for the ceremony when appropriate.

Jonah got to his location but never got his allocation because of unwillingness and anger.

Jonah 3:1-5,10;
[1] AND THE WORD OF THE LORD CAME UNTO JONAH THE SECOND TIME, SAYING,
[2] ARISE, GO UNTO NINEVEH, THAT GREAT CITY, AND PREACH UNTO IT THE PREACHING THAT I BID THEE.
[3] So Jonah arose, and went unto Nineveh, according to the word of the LORD. Now Nineveh was an exceeding great city of three days' journey.
[4] And Jonah began to enter into the city a day's journey, and he cried, and said, Yet forty days, and Nineveh shall be overthrown.
[5] So the people of Nineveh believed God, and proclaimed a fast, and put on sackcloth, from the greatest of them even to the least of them.
[10] And God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way; and God repented of the evil, that he had said that he would do unto them; and he did it not.

Every location have its particular assignment according to what God intend to do with you. Jonah’s assignment in the great city of Nineveh was to proclaim the coming judgment of God upon the land.

God seeing Jonah’s unwillingness, came again to him the second time and strictly asked him to preach the preaching that He bid Jonah for Nineveh.

Three things that facilitates the quick release of allocation at your location are;
1. Willingness to carry out your assignment
2. Willingness to deliver the message as given
3. Willingness to wait for further instructions.

The lack of any of this shall surely delay or deny you of your divine allocation even when you are at your location.

Jonah operated with anger and never received his allocation even in his divine location.

Beloveth child of God, deal decisively with anger before it stops you.

God already has a preordained standard that can not be broken, align yourself and enjoy the reward or live according to your own principles and continue to suffer want.

Our God rewards diligent seekers.

Hebrews 11:6;
But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

Matthew 7:7-8;
[7] Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:
[8] For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

When you diligently seek God, you will find him; when you listen keenly to him, you will surely hear his voice; when you are willing to follow the voice, you will get to your location; when you obey the voice at your location, God will release your allocation.

Jonah 3:1-5,10;

After Jonah finally got to Nineveh and unwillingly preached the word of God as commanded, the people of Nineveh repented and turned away from their evil, this made God to also repent of the evil he purposed for the land and her people.

Jonah got to his location but never got his allocation because of unwillingness and anger.

Reasoning with your father enable’s you know what thoughts he has for you.

It is your knowledge of your father’s thoughts towards you that births the assignment he has for you per time.

While on your own part at the reasoning table is willingness and obedience to your given assignment.
Your assignment determines your location for your allocation.

God already has a preordained standard that con not be broken, align yourself and enjoy the reward or live according to your own principles and continue to suffer want.

Our God rewards diligent seekers.

LIFE AND TIME (Part 492)

LIFE: Living Into Future Enterprise.

TIME: Thinking Into Momentary Enterprise.

Beloveth child of God, how well have you developed your ability to reason with God?

The greatest deception of all time is to claim to have a father whom you scarcely reason with.

You may answer his name quite alright but never enjoy the benefits of having a wealthy father.

In reality many people found themselves in such situation; bearing a noble surname but living as peasants.

Luke 15:14-15,17-18
[14] And when he had spent all, there arose a mighty famine in that land; and he began to be in want.
[15] And he went and joined himself to a citizen of that country; and he sent him into his fields to feed swine.
[17] And when he came to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my father's have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger!
[18] I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee,

The story of the prodigal son is a great lesson and a story for person self examination. The day he went back and reasoned with his father, his later end became better than his beginning.

The preacher expressed his observation of this correctable error and exclaimed in Ecclesiastes 10:5-7;
[5] There is an evil which I have seen under the sun, as an error which proceedeth from the ruler:
[6] Folly is set in great dignity, and the rich sit in low place.
[7] I have seen servants upon horses, and princes walking as servants upon the earth.

How can you know the thoughts of your father towards you when you don’t reason with him?

Not until the prodigal son returned, he never knew he was still loved.

God said in Jeremiah 29:11;
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

Beloveth child of God, return and reason with your Father, it is not too late.

Beloveth child of God, is your life full of unanswered questions; why not return to Jesus Christ the Way and be guided back to your rightful place?

Deuteronomy 28:1-3,5;
[1] And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth:
[2] And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God.
[3] Blessed shalt thou be in the city, and blessed shalt thou be in the field.
[5] Blessed shall be thy basket and thy store.

We have both seen how obedience to God and willingness to be in the right place and do the Lord’s bidding can cause unprecedented increase; and how disobedience and unwillingness caused great losses.

Isaiah 1:18-19;
[18] Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.
[19] If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:

There are three things that defines a man’s life;
1. Ability to reason with God
2. Willingness
3. Obedience

When your life is characterized by these three virtues, then Deuteronomy 28:5 shall become flesh in your life.

The basket is use for harvest; and the bible says in Psalms 68:19;
Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation.

You shall have daily harvest and your ban (store) shall experience daily increase.

Beloveth child of God, how well have you developed your ability to reason with God?

Just one decision to flee from the presence of God exposed all the occupants of the ship, the ship itself, properties and valuables to unimaginable quagmire.

Beloveth child of God, are you sure you are not the cause of the crisis in your family?

As long as God is concerned, though he is Omni-presence but as soon as you step out of his will, plan and directives you have left his presence.

No tree can be as fruitful as divinely ordained except it be planted on the right soil.

Jonah 1:1-4,8-9;
[1] Now the word of the LORD came unto Jonah the son of Amittai, saying,
[2] Arise, go to Nineveh, that great city, and cry against it; for their wickedness is come up before me.
[3] BUT JONAH ROSE UP TO FLEE UNTO TARSHISH FROM THE PRESENCE OF THE LORD, and went down to Joppa; and he found a ship going to Tarshish: so he paid the fare thereof, and went down into it, to go with them unto Tarshish from the presence of the LORD.
[4] But the LORD sent out a great wind into the sea, and there was a mighty tempest in the sea, so that the ship was like to be broken.
[8] THEN SAID THEY UNTO HIM, TELL US, WE PRAY THEE, FOR WHOSE CAUSE THIS EVIL IS UPON US; WHAT IS THINE OCCUPATION? AND WHENCE COMEST THOU? WHAT IS THY COUNTRY? AND OF WHAT PEOPLE ART THOU?
[9] AND HE SAID UNTO THEM, I AM AN HEBREW; and I fear the LORD, the God of heaven, which hath made the sea and the dry land.

Jonah’s fruitful soil was the great city of Nineveh but he decided to flee unto another direction instead.

When you are not on your right soil or on the lane ordained by God for you, your life will be full of unanswered questions; your identity will mean nothing to people no matter the title you may carry.

Jonah actually paid his fare to go to Tarshish instead of Nineveh, you can actually use your hand, money and resources to pay your life, destiny, family and multitudes into sudden unexpected destruction.

Beloveth child of God, is your life full of unanswered questions; why not return to Jesus Christ the Way and be guided back to your rightful place?
