LIFE: Living Into Future Enterprise.

TIME: Thinking Into Momentary Enterprise.

Beloveth child of God, virtue you don’t have; skill you don’t have; instructions you are too big to keep, how exactly can you be helped?

In school, teaching materials are referred to as instructional materials because teaching is instruction.

Any body who feels too big to learn has already prepared the grave of his destiny and soon his life will go down as well.

Esther 2:5-10;
[5] Now in Shushan the palace there was a certain Jew, whose name was Mordecai, the son of Jair, the son of Shimei, the son of Kish, a Benjamite;
[6] Who had been carried away from Jerusalem with the captivity which had been carried away with Jeconiah king of Judah, whom Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon had carried away.
[7] AND HE BROUGHT UP HADASSAH, THAT IS, ESTHER, HIS UNCLE’S DAUGHTER: FOR SHE HAD NEITHER FATHER NOR MOTHER, and the maid was fair and beautiful; whom Mordecai, when her father and mother were dead, took for his own daughter.
[8] So it came to pass, when the king's commandment and his decree was heard, and when many maidens were gathered together unto Shushan the palace, to the custody of Hegai, that Esther was brought also unto the king's house, to the custody of Hegai, keeper of the women.
[9] And the maiden pleased him, and she obtained kindness of him; and he speedily gave her her things for purification, with such things as belonged to her, and seven maidens, which were meet to be given her, out of the king's house: and he preferred her and her maids unto the best place of the house of the women.
[10] ESTHER HAD NOT SHEWED HER PEOPLE NOR HER KINDRED: FOR MORDECAI HAD CHARGED HER THAT SHE SHOULD NOT SHEW IT.

Esther ignored the torment her background would give to her if she held onto it and then she focused on learning.

1 Kings 7:13-14;
[13] And king Solomon sent and fetched Hiram out of Tyre.
[14] He was a widow's son of the tribe of Naphtali, and his father was a man of Tyre, A WORKER IN BRASS: AND HE WAS FILLED WITH WISDOM, AND UNDERSTANDING, AND CUNNING TO WORK ALL WORKS IN BRASS. And he came to king Solomon, and wrought all his work.

Hiram focused on learning brass and he excelled in it.

Proverbs 4:13;
Take fast hold of instruction; let her not go: keep her; for she is thy life.

Beloveth child of God, the day you stop taking instructions (learning) is the day you start losing value; the day you start losing value is the day you start dying.

Hiram concentrated on brass making and not his foundation; even God almighty hid his foundation in the holy mountains and focused on creation.

Mordecai advised Esther to hide her foundation (identity) and focus on the reason she has gone to contest as the next queen.

Esther 2:5-10;

Esther held fast to the instructions of her uncle Mordecai; Hiram obeyed the instructions of his brass master.

Esther gained value by character, Hiram gained value by skill. These two examples we have used thus far built their values by keeping to instructions.

Proverbs 4:13;
Take fast hold of instruction; let her not go: keep her; for she is thy life.

Every instruction you obey increases you in knowledge, understanding and makes you wiser than you were.

You must understand that diligence is not the absence of mockery but a product of vision plus action.

Having a vision is not enough, your ability to convert the vision to success (reality) is the desire of all.

Lots of visions and destinies are wasting daily because of inability to diligently pursue them by the bearers.

Proverbs 22:29;
Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men.

1 Kings 7:13-14;
[13] And king Solomon sent and fetched Hiram out of Tyre.
[14] HE WAS A WIDOW’S SON OF THE TRIBE OF NAPHTALI, AND HIS FATHER WAS A MAN OF TYRE, a worker in brass: and he was filled with wisdom, and understanding, and cunning to work all works in brass. And he came to king Solomon, and wrought all his work.

The hand of the diligent shall bear rule: but the slothful shall be under tribute.

The word DILIGENT means; performing with intense concentration, focus.

Mockery at the introduction of any new idea or product in all facet of life is inevitable, but your resilience and commitment to your vision is what draws both divine and earthly attention to it.

Beloveth child of God, Hiram added virtue to determination not minding his background and he shone as a light.

Starting something is good but for it to be tangible for others to see and appreciate you, determination is a basic prerequisite.

For you to excel in whatever you do, you must be self motivated with a deep desire to solve problems through your invention.

1 Kings 7:13-14;
[13] And king Solomon sent and fetched Hiram out of Tyre.
[14] HE WAS A WIDOW’S SON OF THE TRIBE OF NAPHTALI, AND HIS FATHER WAS A MAN OF TYRE, a worker in brass: and he was filled with wisdom, and understanding, and cunning to work all works in brass. And he came to king Solomon, and wrought all his work.

Ecclesiastes 9:10;
WHATSOEVER THY HAND FINDETH TO DO, DO IT WITH THY MIGHT; FOR THERE IS NO WORK, NOR DEVICE, NOR KNOWLEDGE, NOR WISDOM, in the grave, whither thou goest.

Ecclesiastes 9:10; made it clear that knowledge and wisdom increases with doing.

In essence, when you are diligent on a particular thing, you will begin to grow in knowledge and wisdom of that thing.

You can’t be diligent in pushing truck and grow in knowledge of driving a truck even though they both carry load.

In life, there is ordinary and there is extra-ordinary; the difference is that little extra. Begin to view things differently and act differently and your result shall begin to differ from those of other people.

Isaiah 23:8-9
[8] Who hath taken this counsel against TYRE, THE CROWNING CITY, WHOSE MERCHANTS ARE PRINCES, WHOSE TRAFFICKERS ARE THE HONOURABLE OF THE EARTH?
[9] The LORD of hosts hath purposed it, to stain the pride of all glory, and to bring into contempt all the honourable of the earth.

Hiram had the privilege of coming from a honourable city which could had been a source of pride as many do hide under the pride of family glory and end up being useless in life.

Tyre where Hiram’s father came from were good at making different types of crafts, they were skilled, but Hiram had lost his father to death which could had been a reason for him to seek pity from men, but Hiram purposed not to allow his past dominate his mind.

He humbled himself and learned under authority until he became an authority.

Snr Comrade Amb Emeni Ibe commends Special Court of Appeal Panel during a press briefing.

The National President Southern Youth Foundation of Nigeria and President General Orashi National Congress Amb Comrade Emeni welcomes today’s judgement delivered by the Special Court of Appeal Panel set up to adjudicate in the political cases in Rivers State
I join in welcoming the judgement order of the three man panel led by Justice Onyekachi Otisi completely setting aside the strange judgement of Justice Lifu of the Federal High Court, Abuja, whose strange judgement would have clearly impaired the already conducted council polls in Kwara, Anambra, Imo, Akwa Ibom, Delta, Abia, Cross Rivers, Kano and other states of the federation who relied on their enabling SIEC laws in the conduct of those elections.

Recall that some of us had strongly condemned the unpatriotic moves initiated by some known enemies of the state to target and punish local government workers, state civil servants and indeed Rivers people by attempting to use the courts to deny the state her rights to federal allocations.

I hails this judgement order which has clearly corrected the misrepresentation of the Constitution by Justice Peter Lifu’s judgement which sought to impose INEC laws over State Electoral Bodies without any form of Constitutional amendment. No gainsaying the fact that the same Constitution that established INEC also gives legal backing to SIECs, hence both bodies are saddled with the responsibility of conducting elections at the appropriate tiers and there is no way INEC can seek to hijack the functions of the various SIECs except there is a Constitutional amendment.

Therefore, our stand on this issue and resistance of other convoluted attempts at suppressing truth in our state’s politics, is today justified.

The September 30th 2024 judgement delivered by Justice Lifu clearly derided our Constitution, none the least his order to security agencies like the Police and DSS not to provide security in Rivers State, were orders made in very bad faith and deserving of thorough investigation by judicial gatekeepers. I congratulate the four LGAs Chairmen of Orashi region and Rivers State in general for this judgement

Beloveth child of God, your attitude determines your altitude; your content determines your acceptance.

Biblically, Naphtali is known for struggles and fighting, but Hiram had to change his narrative by acquiring a skill and giving his all to it.

“A WORKER IN BRASS: AND HE WAS FILLED WITH WISDOM, AND UNDERSTANDING”

Hiram was a worker in brass: and he was filled with wisdom and understanding; being filled with a thing is not a matter of one drop, a bite, a pinch or an attempt of it but a deliberate decision to continuously do that thing both in and out of season.

Hiram worked in brass until he was filled with the wisdom and understanding of it before he outshone.

For you to be outstanding, you must first be filled with understanding; for someone to stay from afar and know that there is water in a dark bucket, the bucket must be full of water.

For the bucket to be full, it must patiently stay under the tap or rain as the case may be, which is not usually a pleasurable experience.

Men do not go close to bucket’s because it is a bucket, but because of the content of it.

Foundational forces influences people through their emotions in order to inflict them with anger, bitterness, hatred and moodiness: and with such in you, distraction is inevitable.

Beloveth child of God, your attitude determines your altitude; your content determines your acceptance.

In recent episodes, we saw how the value of virtue transformed Esther despite her foundation as an orphan and a slave in a strange land.

Now, Hiram was the son of a widow, yet king Solomon looked for him.

Why would such a king as Solomon go and look for the son of a widow who’s name could not be mentioned?

It was because Hiram refused to allow his background to keep him on the ground.
Hiram was not a nonentity, his gift made room for him.

Bible records that Hiram was “A WORKER IN BRASS: AND HE WAS FILLED WITH WISDOM” the word of God pointed to what he consistently did before he was filled with wisdom.

He did not just pray, slept and woke up to see himself filled with wisdom, he prayed and also worked in brass, then God filled him with wisdom.

Beloveth child of God, even God hate slothfulness (liabilities).

To be slothful is to be lazy, inactive, sluggish, idle, indolent.

Liability is a responsibility owed to someone.

In simple terms, a liability is someone that takes from you.

Jesus said his meat is to do his father’s business. In essence, his handwork is to manage his father’s enterprise and grow it into an empire.

God almighty loved Jesus because he was enterprising.
He was very able (skillful) and ingenious in business dealings.

Esther used her twelve month to build character.

[8] So it came to pass, when the king's commandment and his decree was heard, and when many maidens were gathered together unto Shushan the palace, to the custody of Hegai, that Esther was brought also unto the king's house, to the custody of Hegai, keeper of the women.
[9] AND THE MAIDEN PLEASED HIM, AND SHE OBTAINED KINDNESS OF HIM; and he speedily gave her her things for purification, with such things as belonged to her, and seven maidens, which were meet to be given her, out of the king's house: and he preferred her and her maids unto the best place of the house of the women.

[15] Now when the turn of Esther, the daughter of Abihail the uncle of Mordecai, who had taken her for his daughter, was come to go in unto the king, SHE REQUIRED NOTHING BUT WHAT HEGAI THE KING’S CHAMBERLAIN, THE KEEPER OF THE WOMEN, APPOINTED. And Esther obtained favour in the sight of all them that looked upon her.

Virtue naturally attracts the presence of God; it was the presence of God upon Esther that gave her favour before all that looked upon her.

Other biblical examples who’s virtue set apart include; David, Joseph, Daniel, Mary, Noah, etc.

You cannot possess the qualities of God and not have his awesome presence overwhelm you.

Be deliberate about character building and you will enjoy uncommon favour with God and men.

The second value you need is transactable value (skills); A skill is to have knowledge or understanding; the capacity, technique or ability to do something well.
Skills are acquired or learned.

Proverbs 18:16;

It is advisable that you learn something and make sure you are very good at what you are doing because nobody wants to associate with liabilities.

While other contenders busied themselves learning how to make up, Esther was busy at the feet of the Lord molding character.

Hegai may had probably sat Esther down and told her 'Vashti was a very beautiful lady who trusted in her beauty and make up but failed to give the king peace of mind.’

Your physical beauty and make up can afford you a night with the king, but if you follow my principles and go for the hidden beauty of the heart, you will win the kings heart.

When a man’s heart is afflicted with emotional sore, physical beauty means nothing but the balm of a quiet spirit.

Others went for the skill that captures the eyes; Esther went for the skill that captures the heart.

Esther’s kindness endeared her to Hegai.

All the other contestants looked down on the fact that Hegai lived with the king and has known what the king loves.

Queen Vashti, lost out for lack of character and I believe Hegai may had also suffered from such disrespectful attitudes.

Success is a function of secrets; deep secrets are stored in the heart and it takes a heart (character) to win a heart.

Esther won Hegai’s heart by kindness and Hegai told her what her contenders never knew about the king.

* Flood victims thank Gov. Fubara for relief support.

The President General Orashi National Congress Amb Comrade Emeni Ibe (AP JP) thanked the State Government for the palliatives given to flood victims from the Rivers State Flood Prevention and Management Committee, led by the Deputy Governor of Rivers State, Professor Ngozi Nma Odu, at some of the IDP Camps in Orashi region

The Leadership of the Orashi National Congress appreciates the Rivers State government for the relief materials provided so far in the four LGAs which will be put to proper and effective use to ease the suffering of residents affected by severe flooding in the region.
The President General Orashi National Congress expressed the profound gratitude of the Orashi people to the Rivers State Flood Prevention and Management Committee, for living up to expectations in delivering some relief supplies to flood-displaced persons in the four LGAs of Orashi region

Amb Comrade Emeni Ibe President General Orashi National Congress thanked the Rivers State Governor Sir Siminalayi Fubara for his empathy and kindness and expressed appreciation to the Committee, led by Deputy Governor Prof. Ngozi Nma Odu, for the timely support.

The leadership of the Orashi National Congress appreciates the Deputy Governor for her proactive efforts in ensuring that the Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in the state and Orashi region were cared for.

We thank the Governor for his directive for establishment of the Flood Prevention and Management Committee in response to forecasts identifying 18 local government areas as flood-prone, not excluding the four LGAs of Orashi region

We acknowledge the mission of government to identify with our displaced people from their homes, and currently residing in IDP camps, and provide support through food, medical supplies, and other essential relief materials.

Our people are happy that the Committee are conducting regular visits to monitor the needs and intervene when necessary, urging camp residents to maintain harmony and cooperation during their stay.

Amb Comrade Emeni Ibe appreciated the Government for its timely response and pleaded with the Government to find a lasting solution to the flood-related issues as the flood has often dealt with the people of Orashi region mostly
and appealed to the Committee for continued support with frequent visits to the IDP camps, especially during the post-flood recovery phase, to ensure ongoing assistance and rebuilding efforts.

The President General while addressing the media noted that, even though the Orashi National Congress was not carried along in the process, but we are happy that the plight of our people are being addressed with proactive measures already put on ground.

He prayed God to protect and guide the governor and his team in the execution of their people oriented policies and programs in Orashi region and Rivers State at large.

In life, no man is respected just because he is a human being.

Something in or on you must attract men towards your direction.

Every problem in life is resolved first by information; wars are first won in the secret before the practical execution of well mapped out strategies. That is why there is an intelligent unit in every military formation.

Jesus said in John 8:32;
And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

The amount of truth you know determines your value.

Permit me to paraphrase John 8:38; And ye shall have sufficient valid information, and the sufficient valid information shall make you valued.

Proverbs 11:9;
An hypocrite with his mouth destroyeth his neighbour: but through knowledge shall the just be delivered.

Now, what is value? Value simply means quality.

We shall look at VALUE in two ways.
1. Character quality (virtue)
2. Transactable quality (skills)

Virtue according to English dictionary; is a particular manifestation of moral excellence in a person; an admirable quality.

The perfect example of moral excellence ever know on earth is Jesus Christ.

Therefore, we can deduce from the above that; Virtue is the measure of the characters of Jesus Christ manifest in a man.

Nicodemus despite being a ruler of the Jews, ignored all that because he knew the value of knowledge.

John 3:1-7
[1] There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews:
[2] The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him.
[3] Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
[4] Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?
[5] Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
[6] That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
[7] Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.

Nothing on earth can take the place of knowledge.

Many homes, churches, destinies, marriages, industries, organizations and nations are failing today because of ineptitude and their unwillingness to take responsibility and go out in search of the right knowledge.

Nicodemus kept aside his pride and title in order to get basic knowledge about salvation.

Information is power; knowledge is light.

Beloveth child of God, don’t go into depression out of ignorance because there is a greater ignorance than an imaginary devil in the heart of believers.

Ignorance is cured by knowledge of what you lack.

To come out of the stronghold of ignorance, you must practically seek knowledge.

John 3:1-4;
[1] There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews:
[2] The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him.
[3] Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
[4] Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?

Nicodemus knew he lacked the knowledge of salvation and as such, he did not sit back and continued to grope in darkness of ignorance; he moved and to the glory of God, he asked the right person.

Asking questions does not make you less of who you are, rather, it makes you better off after you have acquired the knowledge you lacked.

Prayer can handle the spiritual, but it takes faith in God’s word to practically break the physical.

Proverbs 11:9b;
but through knowledge shall the just be delivered.
Luke 1:77;
To give knowledge of salvation unto his people by the remission of their sins,

While prayer is necessary to break demonic influences, practical search for knowledge through study is a basic prerequisite for mental freedom which also leads to saving of the soul.

Matthew 12:46-47;
[46] While he yet talked to the people, behold, his mother and his brethren stood without, desiring to speak with him.
[47] Then one said unto him, Behold, thy mother and thy brethren stand without, desiring to speak with thee.

When Mary the mother of Jesus Christ and his brethren became emotional about Jesus for his absence, bible did not record that they went into prayers, rather, they went in search of him.

Prayer does not take the place of study neither do prayers take the place of practical works of faith.

When you lack knowledge of a thing, pray for direction and seek counsel from men and books; when you are emotionally down, pray and seek counsel from people who have gone ahead of you in the race and be willing to act on instructions in line with the word of God.

Proverbs 27:17;
Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend.

Beloveth child of God, what destiny destroyer are you carrying about because of family pride?

Some persons actually used to identify the helper, but for the sake of family sentiments, they’ll prefer to die rather than humble themselves and ask.

The woman who’s daughter had an evil spirit was a Samaritan.

John 4:6-7,9-10,15-18;
[6] Now Jacob's well was there. JESUS THEREFORE, BEING WEARIED WITH HIS JOURNEY, SAT THUS ON THE WELL: and it was about the sixth hour.
[7] There cometh a woman of Samaria to draw water: Jesus saith unto her, Give me to drink.
[9] THEN SAITH THE WOMAN OF SAMARIA UNTO HIM, HOW IS IT THAT THOU, BEING A JEW, ASKEST DRINK OF ME, WHICH AM A WOMAN OF SAMARIA? FOR THE JEWS HAVE NO DEALINGS WITH THE SAMARITANS.
[10] Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water.
[15] The woman saith unto him, Sir, give me this water, that I thirst not, neither come hither to draw.
[16] Jesus saith unto her, Go, call thy husband, and come hither.
[17] THE WOMAN ANSWERED AND SAID, I HAVE NO HUSBAND. JESUS SAID UNTO HER, THOU HAST WELL SAID, I HAVE NO HUSBAND:
[18] FOR THOU HAST HAD FIVE HUSBANDS; AND HE WHOM THOU NOW HAST IS NOT THY HUSBAND: IN THAT SAIDST THOU TRULY.

This woman and the multitude that came with her after her conversion had to break environmental and territorial influence to get their salvation.

Remember, for you to see the table prepared for you in the presence of your enemies, you must first pass through the valley (confusion) of the shadow (shame) of death (pride) in the confidence of God. Psalms 23:4-5.

To every breakthrough in life, you must confront and destroy these influences both emotionally, mentally, physically and spiritually.

Prayer can handle the spiritual, but it takes faith in God’s word to practically break the physical.

Jesus being a Jew was not even supposed to communicate with the woman from Samaria because of long standing generational sentiment.

Jesus was not born in the flesh when this sentiments started neither was the woman, but the enemy had fired into their future an enemy to their purpose.

If not that Jesus broke the yoke of enmity from off his shoulder and approached the woman, she would never had known that she was an evangelist who’s fame would spread abroad.

Today, many individuals, families, towns and nations are suffering because they have hated their helpers without substantial facts.

Beloveth child of God, what destiny destroyer are you carrying about because of family pride?
