Our client, a recently licensed Microfinance Bank in Nigeria with the goal of being a reference point for Microfinance Banking Services in the country is about to commence operations.
To ensure a smooth and aggressive take off of operations, the Bank is looking to fill the following positions within its organisation structure:

Human Resources & Training Manager – MGT 001

Core Functions for this position are:
• Management of Company's Human Resource & Training Functions
• Implement the Bank's HR Strategy/Policies & procedures • Execute staff recruitment, staff training programs and performance management.
• Design & implement staff motivation and fidelity programs. Qualifications
• First degree in Human Resource Management or related discipline.
• A Masters degree will be an added advantage.
• Minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience in a similar role.
• Professional membership of a Personnel Management Institute will be a further advantage. Person Specifications
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail, and the ability to maintain high standards of accuracy even when under pressure
• Able to deal sensitively with confidential and personal information
• Not older than 35 years of age.

Head, Credit & Risk Management – MGT 002

Core functions for this position are:
• Manage the Bank's credit portfolio.
• Design, implement and review bank's credit policies in line with best practice in Microfinance.
• Proper assessment of credit requests, detailing appropriateness of loan size, purpose and tenor.
• Manage and ensure prompt repayment of loans disbursed to Bank's clients.
• Monitor loan performance, generate reports and keep delinquencies within acceptable limits set by the Bank. Qualifications
• A first degree in Accounting, Banking & Finance or related discipline.
• A profession qualification (ICAN, ACCA, CIBN)
• A Masters degree will be an added advantage
• 3-5 years experience in a similar role
• Knowledge of Microfinance credit operations & Portfolio-At- Risk (PAR) Person Specifications
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
• A keen eye for details
• Not older than 35 years of age.
