It's all about brainwashing your followers, here check this verse in the Quran

"...and nearest among them in love to the Muslims will you find
those who say, 'We are Christians,' because amongst these are men
devoted to learning and men who have renounced the world, and
they are not arrogant"
Quran (5:82).
-------------------------------------------------
But a Boko Haram member will tell his followers, " Yah the Quran said so but then, the Christian in question are the earlier Christians not the idiotic hypocrites we have as Christians today. "

A misguided Muslim without a sound understanding of Islam will just believe him.

Because something is built on the foundation of one thing, it means they are the same thing or one has anything to do with the other.

Cults and terror groups are created by people who want power and to get that power brainwash their gullible followers.

Do we all remember the Jim Jones cult and the Guyana suicides/mass-killings? Well, Jim Jones built his twisted doctine and cult on the foundation of Christianity. Did that make his cult and followers christians in anyway?

David Koresh built a cult on the foundations of christianity - he called himself the son of God, the messiah, slept with children as young as 6years old - both boys and girls - slept with any of the women he chose, completely subjugated his followers, got them to sign over all their properties to him, used drugs, and preached a warped twisted version of the bible. His followers were convinced they were the chosen ones, and ultimately all perished jn a blaze of 'glory' battling with the FBI.

Were he and his followers christian in anyway? Did it have anything to do with christianity?

jmoore:
Boko haram are fighting for virgins, will you give them virgins?

Boko haram are fighting for islamization of Nigeria, will you force all Christians to convert to islam?
Islam does not promise 72 virgins, or any forms of reward whatsoever for anyone who commits suicide. It is a totally absurd lie. The virgin myth has understandably received more than its fair share of publicity due to its hilarity and "romance" At the very least, it makes for a particularly gratifying affirmation for those who would love to see Islam go down the gutters.

Besides, the harsh punishment that Islam bestows upon its followers who commit murder and suicide has been spelt out very clearly in the Quran:

Nor kill (or destroy) yourselves: for verily God hath been to you Most Merciful! If any do that in rancor and injustice, soon shall We cast them into the Fire: And easy it is for God.
Chapter 4 Verse 29 - 30

Narrated Jundab the Prophet said, "A man was inflicted with wounds and he committed suicide, and so Allah said: My slave has caused death on himself hurriedly, so I forbid Paradise for him." (Bukhari Volume 2, Book 23, Number 445)

Narrated Thabit bin Ad-Dahhak:"And if somebody commits suicide with anything in this world, he will be tortured with that very thing on the Day of Resurrection. (Bukhari Volume 8, Book 73, Number 73)

The condemnation Islam has towards suicide is so grave that it would be unthinkable for its followers to regard sex or VIRGINS as a reward if they were to take their lives.

Even the American are currently in talks with the Taliban.

The Columbia government is in negotiations with the FRAC rebels

Turkey talks with the PKK which just recently collapsed led to a period of about 5yrs of relative peace

Philippines government also gave amnesty to the Abu Sayaf group

It was amnesty and peace talks that ended years of bloodshed between the IRA and the British government.

Let's hear the terms and conditions of the peace talks or amnesty and then we will express our role.

Community leaders, who spoke one after another, described the rice project as a transformation project that they could not but support.

They urged Dangote Rice Company to put machinery in motion and commence cultivation as the project would provide thousands of jobs for their youths, who usually abandon the communities for big cities like Lagos, Port Harcourt and Kano in search of better living.

They gave the assurance that the project would be safe and that they would do all within their power to protect and make it flourish.

In his remark, Alhaji Hamisu Sabo, the director of Jigawa Invest, an investment agency of the state government, said the state government had been encouraging and supporting Dangote Rice project because it is a project that will make a difference in the lives of the people of the state.

He stated that the decision to establish the rice project in Jigawa was a boost to the development agenda of the new government in the state, pointing out that job creation and poverty reduction are cardinal objectives of the state government’s agenda.

Jigawa, Communities Support Dangote Rice Project
BY MOHAMMED ZINGINA, Dutse

Jigawa State government and host communities have thrown their weight behind the Dangote rice project expected to be the largest in Africa and with prospects for creation of thousands of job opportunities.

The government and members of the communities pledged their support and cooperation to the successful take-off of the project and its safety during a series of town hall sensitization meeting held with them by the management of the Dangote Rice Farm Ltd and officials of the Jigawa State government.

In an ambitious move to dominate the world market in rice farming, president of Dangote Group, Aliko Dangote, said that there was no going back in his plan to invest heavily in rice farming in five states of the federation.

The communities expressed satisfaction and delight at the choice of their area for the gargantuan project. Preparations have commenced in the state, which is one of the states where the company, for a start, is cultivating 600 hectares of land for commercial rice farming by November.

Governor of Jigawa State, Muhammad Abubakar Badaru

Jigawa State government was particularly excited at the Out-Grower part of the plan that would see Dangote Rice helping farmers with implements to cultivate and grow rice which would also be bought from them by Dangote Rice, a project the state government would complement in its agenda of job creation and poverty reduction at the grassroots.

Already, multi million dollars-worth state of the art equipment for the commencement of the rice project is expected at a location in Kaffin Hausa local government area of Jigawa State for the project with potential to create thousands of direct and indirect job opportunities

According to the farming plan released during a sensitization town hall meetings with some host communities in the local government, the Dangote Rice Farm Ltd, the rice project at Kaffin Hausa, has a five-year plan to achieve between 175,000 and 200, 000, hectares of rice grown twice a year.

The rice project has a plan to follow the due process for the development of the 20,000 hectares of land for rice farming in order to produce and sell high quality parboiled rice in the Nigerian market.

Management of the company, led by Alhaji Mohammed Bello, said the Dangote Rice project had the objective of becoming the leader in rice farming in the world and also boost the Nigerian economy, encourage self-sustainability and import substitution in rice.

According to him, the company was set to reduce importation of rice into Nigeria by investing to become the largest farming operation in the world by 2020, with excess of 150,000 hectares of land spread around three to five states.

According to him, the Dangote Rice Company will produce and sell one million tonnes of high quality parboiled rice within the next five years and at the same time support and develop Nigerian rice farmers through the out-grower plan that will generate employment.

The management of the company expressed appreciation to the government of the state for its willingness to come to the aid of the company to ensure a smooth take-off of the project.

While meeting with the communities, some of those whose settlements fall within the government reserved area earmarked for the project, Alhaji Bello, sought the maximum cooperation of the people to realize the project, describing the decision by Alhaji Dangote to delve into the project as laudable.

He promised that the people would experience a new dawn in all areas of their life as a people, as the company would be ready to give them a new lease of life better than they are currently experiencing.

The sensitisation meeting, LEADERSHIP learned, has taken the company and state government officials to some 15 communities including Ciyayi, Gafaya, Wiwi and Auno villages in Kaffin Hausa local government area of the state.

PoliticsRe: Report: Many Members Of Boko Haram Are Christians by watts75: 6:32pm On Jul 12, 2015
A lot of Christians are members of boko haram, many join because of the financial incentives just like their Muslims counterparts.
Take for instance the attempted bombing of a chruch in Plateau today, the location of the Chruch is in an area exclusively dominated 109 % by Christians. And this is an area that has a vibrant local security watchdog and vigilante groups .

The question is how did a Boko Haram member penetrate all these obstacles and walked straight into a chruch and plant two explosive without anyone seeing him. My guess is that, a Christian can be contracted and paid huge amount of money just to plant the bomb.

Today started as a normal day, it was around 9:45pm I was just walking past the Izala mosque besides Yan Tayah junction, when I stopped to buy what would be my last cigarette When I heard a brust of multiple gunshots.

I had planned to quit smoking today and Infact since the Ramadan fasting began, I have been buying just a single stick thrice a day just to cut down on the number of cigarettes I smoke.

As usual, I stopped at Babawo to buy my good night stick, when I heard the shooting. I immediately dropped to the floor and behold, I saw the gunman shooting directly at the Mosque on RAPID MODE. Then from the direction of GOOD NEWS Chruch, another Gunman started shooting at people running away from the scene.

I remained calm and pinned to the ground observing and watching, then all of a Sudden, a young man dash from the direction of the first gunman and head straight to the mosque and detonated his explosive. Immediately after the blast, the echo of advancing youths chanting "Allahu Akbar" coming towards the scene of blast forced both gunmen to escape from the scene. While running away, unconfirmed report suggest they threw an hand grenade at a white garment Celebrum. Chruch, while another account said irate miscreants burnt the church.

However, at as 12:00am, 18 ppl are confirmed death. Both gunmen escape and the apparent target was Mallam Yahaya Sani Jingir the National President of IZALA sect.

Most of these teens suicide bombers are products of raided villages their parents are dead, they are in most cases abducted and trapped with IED and they are unknowingly sent as suicide bombers.

I was just meters away from the first blast around Yan Tayah,.

Suicide bombing is a tool used by terrorists to instill fear. Boko Haram has already been deciminated, they are using teens who unknowingly as suicide bombers. What we need to do is to identify the various cells operating in our cities. I fear for the people of Kano, as previous trend shows that, their next target will be the ancient city of Kano, probably to disturb the Sallah celebration.

World leaders line up offers of presidential state visits for Buhari at their capitals
June 17, 2015Laolu Akande and Empowered Newswire

In what is an unusual diplomatic largesse for his country and presidency, leading nations around the world are offering President Muhammadu Buhari state visits this year.

This is just as the United Nations is also looking forward to his participation at the 70th anniversary of the world body in New York this September.

In the past recent weeks, the global community has been generally celebrating Nigeria, including the leading international news weekly, Time Magazine, which published a very positive review on the country recently, saying Nigeria is one of the very few things that is currently positive in a world described by the publication as depressing.

As such sentiments spread in the international community, there are now at least three major countries known to have invited Buhari to visit their executive heads of government in what promises to be fairly elaborate state visits sooner or later this year. These nations are the United Kingdom, the United States and India.

A senior UN official also confirmed Monday that the world body is hoping that President Buhari attends the next General Assembly summit which marks 70 years of the United Nations.

The official said more than 100 heads of state are expected alongside Buhari at the yearly global summit in New York, where the Nigerian delegation might be one of the major attractions.

Although a visit to the UN by a nation is more of the discretion of a country, since the UN is open to all its member-states especially during the annual General Assembly summits, it is believed that the gathering offers unique opportunities to celebrate nations, their presidents and leaders around the world whose public record or global goodwill are rising, just like what is happening to Nigeria currently.

On the other hand, invitations for state visits from one nation to the other, and one president to the other is considered more nuanced and signifies a celebration of warm ties between nations and their leaders.

Of the three major nations being mentioned so far, that is the US, UK, and India, it is the White House offer of a presidential visit that is expected to generate the greatest diplomatic windfall for Mr. Buhari and Nigeria.

While Nigeria and the U.S. enjoyed good relationship during the Goodluck Jonathan administration with the diplomatic hardwork of Prof Ade Adefuye, the current Nigeria’s Ambassador in Washington DC, the perception that the former Nigerian president was weak on fighting corruption and disagreements between the Nigerian military and their American counterparts on the fight against Boko Haram damaged the otherwise warm diplomatic rapport between both countries particularly in the last one year of the Jonathan presidency.

But in both U.S. and Nigerian diplomatic circles, there is wide agreement that the emergence of the Buhari-Osinbajo presidency has changed the tone, restoring warm diplomatic relationships again.

This, according to U.S. sources explained why the U.S. President, Barack Obama, wanted to send his Vice President, Joe Biden, to lead the presidential delegation to witness and grace Nigeria’s May 29 presidential inauguration.

Mr. Biden could not eventually make the trip because his now passed son, Beau Biden, was already very ill and dying and unsettling him emotionally for a while.

However, at the just-concluded African Union summit in South Africa, U.S. Assistant Secretary of State Linda Thomas-Greenfield, discussed with the Nigerian delegation to the summit details of a proposed White House and U.S. reception for President Buhari very soon.
We reliably learnt that U.S. Secretary, John Kerry, has actually offered Buhari a visit to the White House when he attended the president’s May 29 inauguration in Abuja.

The United Kingdom and India are also said to have made similar offers on different occasions

Just go to Shuwarin Junction in Jigawa state and see the sheer number of Young Shall Grow, Ezewanta, Ifeanyi Chuukwu luxurious buses passing thru enroute to Maiduguri. On a daily basis, I usually count more than 10 luxurious buses packed full with Igbos going to Damaturu and Maiduguri.

Most of the army and MOPOL men on road blocks duty from Portuskum - Damaturu - Maiduguri are always happy seeing these luxurious buses. Because they have become suppliers of Alomo and other alcoholic drinks to these uniform men. The luxurious bus drivers prefer giving them Alomo than the number #200, while the uniform men on their part are contented receiving the Alomo because Alcohol can only be sourced from Police or Military Mess in Damaturu or Maiduguri.
