The Battle for the best performing Governor during Buhari regime is likely to be btw El-rufai and Wike. Because only two of them have shown the propensity and zeal to perform. What's your take ? Who do you think will perform better

O Allah, forgive and elevate his station among those who are guided. Send him along the path of those who came before, and forgive us and him, O Lord of the worlds. Enlarge for him his grave and shed light upon him in it. |

https://www.nairaland.com/911914/delta-govt-votes-7.4bn-demolish Delta Govt votes N7.4bn to demolish hills around airport By Emma Arubi ASABA—AS the Delta State Government prepares to host the next South-south Economic Summit billed for April 26 to 28 in Asaba, the government has approved the contract for the demolition of hills around the Asaba Airport to allow for bigger aircraft to land. The demolition of the hills became necessary so that “special and bigger” aircraft can start landing before the commencement of the South-south Economic Summit. Commissioner for Economic Planning, Mr Kenneth Okpara, who briefed journalists on the outcome of the state Executive Council meeting, said the contract was initially awarded to one firm at N7.4 billion. He explained that though the contract amount was not reviewed, it had been awarded to three different contracting firms including ULO Consultants, Levante Construction Limited and CCC Construction Nigeria Limited. Okpara said: “The President is coming to the summit and we want him to land here in Asaba and not in Benin. We have just ten days to put the airport in proper shape because that is one of the conditions given by Nigerian Airspace Management Agency, NAMA, for bigger aircraft to land.” He assured that the new arrangement was “a matter of government being proactive to ensure that things move on properly,” noting that the new arrangement on the contract award would not have additional cost implication on the total cost of the airport construction. http://www.vanguardngr.com/2012/04/delta-govt-votes-n7-4bn-to-demolish-hills-around-airport/ |
Remember Jigawa state used 11.4 billion to build this airport in 9 months. Delta was using 7.5 billion to clear a hill around Asaba Airport.

Can anyone show me one single capital intensive project constructed by either the Ministry of Niger Delta or by NDDC |
Niger delta recieves the largest allocations, have a special ministry; the ministry of Niger delta development, the Oil companies are also responsible for a lot of projects we have here, so what are our governors using the money for? Medical bills? Abi na pension Akpabio call am? Delta state and Bayelsa are the worst! All the do is show up at the launching of projects executed by Federal Government and the Niger delta development commission and pay people to sing their praises |
correct guy.!!!!!!! Enjoy your money!!!!!! Guy man!!!!!! Correct dude!!! !!! These are the kind of comments you get from an average South Southern. Instead of reflecting on how these guys have deprived the SS people. Tomorrow, they will blame the Suya man on the street of Sokoto for all thier problems and woes. |

Ask your Governors what are they doing with their allocation, This is Kano during the day and during the night
|
The time the South East start asking questions about their leaders the better. But the ordinary igbo man is more interested in what happens in Kano or Lagos than what happens in his state.
|
While Kano is busy replacing one and two lane into three lanes. My people in the South East are blaming the Suya man on the street of Sokoto for all thier problems.
