I've gone on my own, made enquires and I'm just returning home. I will have to register with 5k and overall treatment will cost 22k... I had to plead with them before it was reduced. I'm back home. Greetings sir Waveskaaya! Lockdown didn't affect vehicular movements 100% percent in any state in Nigeria ... It's only Inter state movements that are totally locked for now, imposition of dusk to dawn curfew and total lockdown for all businesses, markets except for essential workers like doctors, nurses and security operatives. This is past midnight, 12:32 am to be precise and we are very much awake due to her condition. You are the only reason I've been visiting nairaland since today.

Is the lockdown not gonna affect you from taking her to a better hospital?

Greetings Sir Waveskaaya! You asked that I keep you updated. She's getting better I say this with faith, even though she's not responding to antibiotics being administered to her. She's having difficulty in breathing. We've been referred to First Rivers Hospital in Porthacourt. I don't want to post her pics here, I'll send that via your email. We are just home and fed up cos we know that hospital is a big hospital and beyond our standard and capability at the moment . Though I still have 5k from the 10k you sent to me.

I buy plantains from Bayelsa and supply here in Rivers state. It's not so lucrative but it's better than staying idle. I didn't know the lockdown was going to be serious instantly, so I went to get plantains from Bayelsa and immediately I arrived Borokiri market, The rivers state tax force descended on everyone in the market and damaged over 80% of the plantains I came to supply. I usually go once and sometimes twice a week, depending on how fast my customers pay up. I'm a graduate but had resort to doing the business happily after I got defrauded by a traveling agent upon my attempt to travel abroad in search of greener pastures. Doing this business, One thing I never lacked was food but with the problem I encountered, it's become difficult to feed and may be worse after the lockdown too cos I also got some of the plantains on credit.
