Accountants are in short supply in the US. The governing bodies seek to be lenient regarding certification. Maybe NIW would be a good way. NIW removes the need for work authorisation. The remaining part na to look for work. Nevertheless, a CPA qualification is extremely important. The question is: which certification can he acquire which has links with the issuing body of CPA? Just as ICAN has to ICAEW in the UK.

look for PHD scholarship. Visa sponsorship these days for big 4 self don hard to uk, Usa, Australia and UAE. Keep applying and hope for the best

try and get big 4 audit experience. Or look for a masters scholarship in the USA. Chances of getting a direct visa sponsorship are slim.

There are oportunities for Digital Accountant including remote jobs that can pay you well.

The first to go software now is Quickbooks online and other advanced accounting softwares are including AI features. So you need to be conversant with them and stay upto date with new trends. I will be updating your thread from time to time.

I can coach you on that. In fact that is what I am studying ONLINE with an American University and I will definitely move to US with that unless God says no.

I recently read, the ICAN president says members should embrace digital technologies in their careers.

If you are interested , I will guide you on it and give you materials to be studying and perhaps register with an new overseas organisation on Digital Accounting. That ICAN is getting outdated.

Which Accounting softwares are you proficient in ?

This question has since been answered on this thread, So many questions are being asked repeatedly because the questioner find it stressful reading from page one, Take out time to read trust me it will be for your own good because we the respondent did same that’s the reason we are able to give answers to your questions meanwhile the Polish embassy doesn’t accept bank statement except you are applying for a tourist visa it’s either a credit card certificate or a payslip.
