The email address is inconsistent According to blog.ngcareers.com, a lot of scammers use common email service providers such as Gmail, Yahoo etc in their email correspondence. For example, a scam email address may look like this; careers@gtbank.org, careers@gtbank.net or careers@gtbanks.com meanwhile, the domain of GTB is gtbank.com. So you have to check the email address very well to know if it is consistent with the email of the organization it claims to be. You can lay your hand on a genuine product of the organization to be sure the email is correct. You can also check the website and look for their contact email if it is consistent. Nice post @ OP. But i must point out something. Some companies this days, realizing the large number of applicants, each time a job is posted, usually uses a recruitment agency or use Yahoomail, Gmail e-mail addresses for contact. A friend of mine just got a lucrative job offer with an O&G company (All thanks to God). The company posted a job vacancy, and gave a Yahoo e-mail address for contact; Though, i must say, its very rare these days to find genuine companies posting job vacancies without giving their own customized e-mail addresses for contact. |
I can't stop wondering, why they could not fix any of the broken refineries in 6 years, or at least build one. ![]() |
Debbie, Nice job u are doing here. God bless u real good. Peace! |
Affon:NNPC will definitely call. But they may not take in much people, because of the dwindling oil prices like u stated. I guess when the oil price goes up again, more people will definitely be taken. Just be Positive! ![]() |
seunique:LAUGHS!!! Such a nice comic relief. Buh seriously, ladies describe guys with loads of cash as sexy. I even heard a lady saying OBJ is so so sexy |
XketchDesigns:In the absence of nothing, find something doing. Before i got my current job, i was doing free work for contractors in the oil and gas industry without being paid. I was building my experience, and i was making contacts while meeting people wherever i go to work. Suddenly, there was an opening in one of the firms, and that was it. I got the job, all thanks be to God. My advice is Get busy doing something, and also be prayerful and hopeful. |
