Infinix Hot 7 launched on 4th March 2019 is a higher device in the Hot series after the Infinix Hot 6, 6 pro and 6x. Infinix, one of the giant phone makers in Africa, has penned another device on their list which is the Infinix Hot 7.

The seventh edition of the Infinix Hot series which is the immediate successor of the Infinix Hot 6x. A much-anticipated device by Infinix lovers. A budget-friendly device of 4,000 mAh, Android 8.1 and also a bigger screen.

A much effort has been put by Infinix Mobile to make devices that will reach its users at an affordable price, and they came up with this extraordinary Hot 7.

Much should not be expected from this device since Infinix has made it be a mid-budget device that features some demanded specs.

Design and Display
The Infinix Hot 7 has some old design features. The back cover can be removed, so you can see the capacity of the battery in it. Also, it has no ejector pin, that is, SIM cards can be inserted when the back cover is opened. At the left of it, there’s no button but it can be found on the right side.

A big HD screen of 6.2 inches which has a notch on the center top and also with a screen aspect ratio of 19:9. Enough Screen to watch movies and also play games.

Infinix Hot 7 comes in three different colors of Champagne gold, purple, and midnight black but the purple is the most beautiful because of its shiny back when light reflects on it.

Battery and performance
4,000 mAh is said to be the start of strong battery life, and luckily this device is not an exemption. It has a non-removable 4000mAh which can last for up to two days depending on usage.

In terms of processor, Infinix Hot 7 is not very impressive. 1.3GHz processor speed is not much for a device like this but it’s good anyway for its price. In addition to the speed is the RAM, a 1GB/2GB RAM to run multi apps at the same time. Though it is not enough for some heavy apps.



With the 16GB/32GB storage options, Infinix still provided an option for expansion of the storage to up to 128GB.

Also, it has in it a CPU which is Quad-core MediaTek MT6580P and ARM Cortex-A7, including a GPU of Mali-400 for better graphics.

Camera and connectivity
Infinix hot 7 is not posing to compete with other smart Camera devices like the Tecno Camon 11 Pro. It has a 13 megapixels back camera and an 8 megapixels front camera with AI. But the 2GB RAM variant has a dual camera of 13+8 MP rear.

Portraits and selfies are loved by most Android users, so Hot 7 is not left behind because it can offer a lot in its AI cameras like Night mode with LED flash, Panomara mode, beauty and many more.

Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Hotspot, USB port, SIM cards are all part of the connecting features in Infinix Hot 7. It has no 4G, which is not acceptable to some people but the 3G network covers a lot of speed in terms of internet connections.

Price Of Infinix Hot 7
Infinix Hot 7 can be purchased online and in phone shops at an affordable price ranging from 36,000 Nigeria Naira for the 1GB Ram to 43,000 Nigeria Naira for the 2GB Ram.

I will recommend the 2GB Ram variant if you really want this device, you can make any color of your choice but the purple is charming in the eyes.
