Popular Nigerian actress Laide Bakare has cleared the air on her purported relationship and romance with an unidentified man she has been flaunting on social media. 


The mother of three took to her Instagram to reveal that she is still single. 


She stated that the man with whom she has been filming videos is merely a colleague in the industry.


Laide Bakare begged the media to stop referring to him as her husband, saying that he is merely a coworker. 


She revealed that he had appeared in several films, including Oko Laide, as her husband. According to Laide Bakare: “Stop it, you guys. I told you the other time that I made a video about my colleague, it was on a movie set. We played husband and wife, lover, it was almost like 3 movies back to back. Please he isn’t my husband, the title of the movie is Oko Laide”.

Nigeria’s billionaire businesswoman, Folorunsho Alakija, appeared to react to recent controversy regarding her marriage.

According to unconfirmed reports, Folorunsho and her husband, Modupe, are now separated.

On Monday morning, seemingly in response to the saga, Alakija shared a cryptic prayer on her social media.

I walked into our bedroom, and dressed the bed. I changed the white bulbs to red. I scattered red and white flowers on the floor, and arranged red candles round our bed, placing some candles in the centre of the rug carpet.
I pulled off my cloth and wore a white and red trouser to match with the moment.
I was arranging the bottle of wine and bouquet of flowers in a small bucket, when my wife opened the bedroom door to see every where in red.
'Adam eeeeeeeh! Praise, you are now a ritualist .' my wife shouted.
She opened the door and ran out. I chased her behind to explain.
'Ene i can explain, stop!' i shouted as i ran out shirtless with just my red and white trouser"
I was chasing Ene with a red candle in my hands and i didn't even know.
Our new neighbors saw my wife zoom passed them in a flash. Moments later , they saw me with a red candle and red trousers running towards them.
On seeing me, they removed their shoes and ran out of the gate, chasing my wife behind....

My wife's family and i, have been gathered for over 2 hours now. We are all receiving marriage counseling from Pastor Adakole... My surprise romance may have put me in trouble.
But then, i learnt something from this very experience. Fear anything red.
