Russia don't just decide to arm separatists. Apart from the fact that they're majorly ethnic Russians, there are event that leads to it.

The west sponsor a regime change by deposing an elected president who happen to come from eastern Ukraine(Donbass region) in 2014 and install theirs.

Due to this act, the Eastern region of Donbass which are majorly Russian speaking declared a breakaway state but Ukraine declare war on them and has been killing and bombing them since 2014. They have killed more than 14000 ethnic Russian.

Russia annex Crimea (majorly ethnic Russian) due to this singular act.

The break away state have been asking Russia to recognize them since 2014 which Putin recently did.

Before blaming Russia, know the Genesis of this matter.

What right does he have to decide the president of a country? They have Russia, why not go back home? Why go to declare another country as your place? More like blacks declaring Brooklyn as a separatists region.

Are you trying to say the killing has been only on the separatist? No Ukrainian has lost their life in the quell?

After crimea ish, came the Minsk agreement to give special status to Russian in Ukraine but zelensky came and violated the agreement he kept killing ethnic Russians in Ukraine in the name of fighting separatists, renewing calls to join nato, he was just misinformed, stupid and I don’t see Russia leaving Ukraine until they achieve their objectives.

If taking crimea was only to prevent them, why is he still including it amongst his "lists" for peace?
