Genes1s:Good question. The issue I have with most writers from Nairaland, so I've stuck with my upwork writer I met in the past and my partner who helps me write. Pay attention to their intro, it lacks creativity, it's always AI garbage shit. For instance, try and generate an AI intro for a topic on your niche, Now compare it with most of your writers, and you will see it's similar. Also, read their post to see if it's descriptive. Eg, instead of a vague/passive statement like: " and some of the companies products are not good". You should get: " Product x, y, and z, are not good because they have a high-calorie profile" Also, look at the end of each subtopic, there is always a similar style of conclusion. Here is what you can do Ask them to submit their outline before you allow them to start writing. Going through the outline will tell if it's AI-generated, as AI outlines are always easy to spot. Give instructions on how you want the article to be written: in a conversation style, in a feminine style, etc. Ask them to show you the resources they used in writing each subtopic. For those that use undetectable or stealth AI, this is where they will be caught. Above all, try and read the articles, you will be able to tell the lack of effort and creativity. Don't pay shit for a shitty article. Make the person go die! |
LOL, it is a very boring experience being around a person who wants to win every argument, even when they have lost. As I said, I pity those around you. We have shifted the goal post from Dauntless to my sales. Well, Mr. Man, I have 3 sites that I would never sell, my shoe blog, wood blog, and fruit blog and I actively write for them. Besides that, I build and sell websites, it's way more lucrative, and you should try it. It brings good profit in the short run. Get a good domain between 10 to 100k, pay for 100 articles 250k, and sell for 1.3 million net, that's 950k profit. Have a happy life!

Sorry for the slow uploads, my router is misbehaving. When the next page loads, you will see loads of difficult keywords with hundreds of thousands of monthly volumes. These keywords are for the big players, and if you run the first keyword on Google search, you will see Wikipedia. That Wikipedia page, if you search for the amounts of backlinks and referring domains linking to it, you will see why you can never rank No1 for the keyword: "orange". This is why you have to search for easier keywords. With over 13k backlinks to just one page and over 2.8k referring domains to just one page, how can a new website challenge this? This is why we move to the next point—keyword difficulty. Keyword Difficulty In semr==-=-=ush, keyword difficulty obviously means how difficult a keyword is, and it is represented as KD. When searching for keywords, you need to search for keywords according to your domain strength. A new website created today cannot challenge in the Easy Section., You will need to go for "Very Easy". But does very easy mean the keyword is very easy? No! You need to type in the keyword on Google and search to discover if anyone has written about it or if fewer people have written about it. You can't see a keyword that over 15 people have covered, and you'll go and write on it with the hope that your post will rank higher in 6 months' time (don't forget that other people's posts are equally aging as yours). But if you go for a keyword no one has written about, you have a higher chance of ranking No. 1 in a few days. If you buy an expired domain that is already established, you can easily rank for very easy keywords. For example, if I create an article on Nairaland here and you check it, you'll see it'll rank today, but if you write an article with a new domain, it may even take 3 days before it gets indexed. So, what is at play here? Nairaland is an aged domain that already has trust in Google's eyes.

Niche research and keyword research work hand in hand, before you agree on a niche, you have to do keyword research on the seed topics of that niche. For example, if I want to do the fruit niche, I will just jump into the niche, I will first do keyword research with the names of the fruits(seed keywords) Orange Orange seed Orange plants Orange stem Orange tree The same with mango, apples, pineapples, and so on. When I do keyword research, if I find easy keywords, then I can now say: "The fruit niche is easy and I can thrive here". For keyword research use SEm-----=-==rush and A-==h-=--ref, they are close to being accurate, but they are not accurate. Let me get an example in pictures It is best to use a pro version of Sem=-===rus=--h, as you will not be limited. The free version offers only 10 searchs, and you cant scroll beyond 10 results. So when you access sem-=--rush, go to keyword magic tool, set country as USA, then type in the seed keyword ( seed keywords are those keywords you use in finding other keywords)

I have been unlucky trying to catch domains recently, I had to contact the support of catched.com and they had this to say. So, I'll try to verify my dropcatch and use it alongside catch.club.

online4business:The dauntless you're quoting here has something different to say on my DM. Mind you, he has only two blog posts. What result are you expecting form Two blog posts? I believe you're a kid, I won't indulge you beyond this. You have a little mind. I pity your partner and kids, you go use over sabi finish them. There is no one way in life, I teach people everything I know, and if they don't put it into practice, should I be held for it? The Dauntless you keep calling has only two articles on his blog. Had it been he wrote two articles daily for 3 months as I asked him to, if you're saying anything, then it'd be reasonable. He has only two blog posts. Dumb small-minded person. Carry your I too know and hit your head on the wall. You're still making stupid arguments even when it's clear that I am making money from it. Are you bored? Do you lack happiness? What exactly is your problem? |
kodred:This evening, I will complete the next step. |
kodred:I no longer accept, people don't take it seriously. Out of 30+ that have taken my mentorship, only 7 either write or pay for articles and that underscores people's unwillingness to work for themselves. Check the thread, there is a lot of useful information. There is a guy who started the mentorship, he will call me by 7 in the morning, call me by 10, or 11 in the night. Haba! For tenk? I can't rest? I no longer need the stress of forcing people to do things for themselves. I clearly stated 2 articles every day, but they will prefer to be chasing shining objects. |
As a proverb says: "Only a fool argues about what he knows nothing about." I don't entertain alternative opinions, if you have any, open a thread for it. A lazy person should never complain about being tricked into blogging, as how do you want to see any result when you can't do niche or keyword research? Or write articles? I write 5 well structure articles every single day. New domains work over time if your articles are well-written and optimized, you could get organic links. But it can never be compared to an aged non-drop domain with quality RD's. Why can't you target the keyword "diabetes" and rank NO1? Because them no born your new site well where Healthline and the rest are. Now this is why we get aged domains, to compete in tight spaces. I just sold a year and two-month-old site with two hyphens - - on motion invest, the site sold in less than 5 minutes after it was listed because of quality. The site is built on an expired domain. I am talking about what works for me, If you have what works for you, create a thread and teach us, I'd be glad to learn. Perhaps, I no longer collect any tutor fees, wetin your ten k wan do for me? Buy toys for my two sons, or pay my writers? In the past 25 days, I have netted over $5k in website sales. So what does your unpopular opinion have on me? From January till now, I've sold about 8 sites built on expired domains, why didn't I have an issue? If you don't know how things are done, you ask questions. You're on your first site, I've sold 8, and still have six, plus I am about to add four more, Does it seem like our experience stars are on the same level? What sort of newbie wouldn't research before they start a blog? Hit Google and ask the difference between an aged domain and a new domain, the difference between a site with quality referring domains and a site without any. The advantages are many, from quick indexing, no sandbox time, better ranking, and eliminating the need to engage in organic SEO outreach in the short term, giving you enough time to focus on content and keyword research. I belong to different forums, and people are free to start their journeys and teach what they feel is right. You can do the same, teach us about starting a blog with a new domain, and I will learn. I hate people with over Sabi spirit, it's nothing but local pride. There is no one way of doing things in life, I recognize new domains can work, but I use deleted and expired, and that is what I am teaching about. I can't talk about what I have no experience with. One thing with oversabi people is that they think they are wise, but they always spit stupidity every time. If I encourage new domains and it doesn't work, it's your type that will come here to crucify me. A person with just 1 site all his life feeling like a god... Lol. Just one ITK feeling funky.

If you don't have money to purchase a premium expired domain, you can still get quality deleted domains. Some of my students use it, and it's working just fine for them. The domain would matter less when the niche and keywords are easy. I am only getting this expensive domain because the food niche falls into the YMYL category, and I need something strong to compete in that space. Tip for checking deleted domains: Always check for domains that dropped the previous or current day. You can find a good deleted domain if you keep searching every day. The deleted domain costs $10.79 on average to register, but you may not be lucky to find a good one, or you may search for quite a long time, but it's always worth it in the end. Look out for the number of referring domains, link quality, trust flow, and citation flow. Don't look at the backlink count or DA and PA; you can check the A&--h---ref DR( a DR of 7 and above is cool). |
Home Recording Studio Niche (10 Sub-Niches) Every day, there are more and more musicians, YouTubers, Artists, and vocalists born, and it is unlike in the 90s when we needed a recording label to reach an audience. In this day and age, we are given the medium to share our passion and expertise. And, the foundation of a content creator's needs is a home studio. There is a high demand for information in this niche, but there aren’t many credible people who can give quality advice. So, if you are, for example, a sound engineer, you are more than qualified to create a blog in this niche. Even if you're not a sound engineer, you could still succeed. Just read up everything you need to know about the home studio, and it will open your eyes to the products that could be written about, or fixes that you may need to help your audience with. These past days have been spent on niche and domain research, and it hasn't been easy. I have combed through 157 niches and found about 7 niches with lots of unanswered high-volume queries. When I did my A-level program so many years ago, one of our lecturers gave a quote, I know it's not his, but I heard it from his mouth first. And he said," If you fail to plan, you plan to fail". In blogging, you don't just wake up and say " I am a good adviser, I should start a relationship niche. I have so much love, passion, and experience for this niche." You are playing with fire. You must do niche--keyword--then domain research. Imagine finding a niche with over 50 extremely easy keywords that have over a thousand volumes, with just 50 articles, you can be averaging 50k to 80k visitors monthly. If you have ears, learn from my early day's mistakes and start the right way. I am a living testament that blogging pays, it could retire you from stressful 9-5, but only if you do it well. |

I haven't been here for a while, been busy trying to sort out family and myself. But I have some nice things to post much later today. Thanks! |
Pennywise2:That's how it goes sometimes brother. I have carried my madness to GoDaddy.
|
PawsitiveBro:What were you looking at when you got the site? Did you confirm if it was previously hit? How were your articles? I am sure you did something wrong. If you had the chance to buy Nairaland for 500k - #1 million, would you buy or not? That is the logic behind expired domains, but you have to do due diligence to confirm it's a good site. |
I lost the bid to secure the primary domain for the wine niche, I'll wait for the other one.

First of all, niche research You can't say you want to start a blog without doing proper niche research. Niche research is the first thing you do before you even go ahead and get a domain. But in my experience with most people, as soon as they pay for my mentorship, they start rushing me to get a domain for them. The lack of niche research is why most people fail when it comes to blogging. Last night, while I was carrying out my usual research, I found a niche that has over 600 easy keywords. While cross-checking, I found out that over 500 of these keywords are extremely easy; even a new website could rank on the first page within a few days of getting indexed. I have been quite overjoyed because I'm going to get a domain and cash out of that niche. What is niche research? Niche research is the act of scanning different niches to find the one in which you can have an easy breakthrough without having to buy backlinks. For instance, don't just start writing about cats and dogs because you have seen that I have written about cats and dogs. You need to research the niche and ensure that there are easy keywords for which you can rank. Don't just go and start writing about the house niche because you love the house niche or because you have an interest in home design or house designs; you will end up failing if proper research is not done. Learn from the mistakes I made in my early years of blogging, and don't rush into blogging if possible. You can spend up to 2 months doing proper research to ensure that the niche you want to enter is easy. When you have done your research and found an easy niche where you can excel, you can now get a domain (another important aspect of blogging). Niche research is a must, and it will decide if you succeed or not. Don't jump into a tech blog because you've gotten excited over the money NaijaTechGuide is making. I love tech, but look at me blogging about cats, gardens, wood, shoes, and other funny niches! I initially thought the tech niche was very hard because most of the things I was interested in writing about—the sites that cover them—had very strong backlinks, but recently, I decided to do some scan research, and I found lots of easy keywords on WhatsApp, Ubuntu, Linux, and so much more. In the future, I'll visit it, but for now, let me grow the newfound niche. Don't forget to do keyword research and gather keywords before deciding on a niche. Ah! Did I just dictate 450 words? |
eezor:May not be easy to sell the domain as it has little to no strength. Try again, do good kw research, and write well-formatted articles, you could win. |
Olaxbolax100:Sure, what is your budget? |
wealthpreach:I didn't have to look deep before I found your problems. 1. Poor keyword research 2. Poor formatting 3. Lots of low word count articles 4. Poor SEO ( lacking metadata optimization, keyword optimization, and no inclusion of LSI) how then can you rank? I ran your page on ah---re÷--f and ar---m fish You don't have any page tanking No. 1. You barely have posts ranking on the first page. What can you do? Go and learn On-page SEO and look at your competitors, you will see how they format their articles. Make use of H2 and other headers where needed. Pls, go and do keyword research those keywords can't bring you success. They are very hard. I ran through one of your keywords, the top-ranking article had over 250 backlinks and is ranking for over 70 keywords–just one post. How can you compete with such sites? Keyword research is where you should major. Nice design anyway! |
eezor:I am on it sir, I won't be able to look deep. I will just check if you're meeting basic requirements. |
Ah! Water is actually a niche o. So will sand and fire. I will sleep on motion invest.
|
PawsitiveBro:I love seeing things like this. Keep it up. |
PawsitiveBro:Nice one. Ensure to buy one or two good domains. Keep the cycle going or build an authority site. |
Pennywise2:I use less popular registrars, as GoDaddy and Name Cheap can be so extravagant. Bids run into $ks |
