If you're looking to earn affiliate commissions on high-ticket items, Gym Niche is a gold mine. This is a great SEO play- if you focus on publishing long-form, high-quality, product reviews on items like elliptical machines and weight benches, you can tally affiliate commissions with Amazon, Walmart, Jet and other fitness-equipment retailers. There are tons of products you can promote: Elliptical machines, weight benches, exercise bikes, free weights, stair steppers, sit up benches, gym gloves, ab workout equipment, stationary bikes, rowing machines, treadmills, home gyms, power towers, vertical leg presses, squat racks And more |
Pennywise2:Not up to $60 But if I indulged him, it would soar past that–like my experience yesterday, they went over $300, and I just left them. |
Imagine waiting 10 days to get a good domain for my wine niche, this guy went to bid on this great domain I found, and if I should outbid him, we may slip into a bidding war. I left him there and used catched to triple his bid just in case. When the actual auction kicks off, neither of us would be able to increase our bids, but I would have defo outbid him. I have noticed most bids on domains are not a result of the domain's worth most times, it's just dopamine gotten from being the highest bidder. And I'm not ready for the drag race. Just outsmart the bingo. The site has quality backlinks, all links are indexed, and I don't have to suffer the Google sandbox wait time.
|
ANTAX99:To be honest with you, I can't even tell which niche is easy anymore. To decide if a niche is suitable or easy, keyword research has to be done first. If you can lay your hands on sem-rus-h or a-h. Ref. It will help you a lot. |
online4business:True. Newbies can't even afford to start with backlinks. Imagine having 50 posts, and spending an average of $100 on each(of course, they won't even know what is right to buy or not), that is $5000 we not even talking about homepage links. |
I was reluctant to pursue a domain on an auction, but I just checked the niche of the domain and found lots of easy keywords. Hard luck. Anyways, I have the niche in mind, I'll source a good domain for it. It even seems to be a niche ill enjoy making articles for. Lots of easy unexplained niches, but people want to kill themselves in hard niches. |
Starting a blog can be a very tiring venture if you don't know what you're doing or what to expect at the initial stage. Many people quit in less than a month, as they expected to start blogging now, and then by tomorrow, Google would start sending money. While others start blogging just because they have passion for the topic, a month down the line, they barely rank for any topic. They struggle with a meager 100 or fewer visitors per day, even after putting so much effort into writing lots of articles. I have met a few people who splash the cash on articles and backlinks, yet they still don't see traction. This is because they do not do or look at the right thing. Blogging is not all about creating and posting articles as fast as you can, unless you're not aiming to build an authority site. Your quality of articles is meant to stand the test of time and attract organic links. Blogging is not about writing a million words; it is all about the following keywords: Niche Research Keyword Research( this is where success lies to me, irrespective of using new or expired domains; once keyword research is done properly, you will reap quicker results) Domain Research (should you use new or expired domains, and where could you possibly get them from?) Hosting Content Content Strategy Content outline and research Pillar post: clustered keywords; siloing (this will help pass link juice evenly and boost topical authority; more on this later). On-page SEO (meta, featured snippets, images, videos, speed optimization, header tags, LSI, proper keyword density, proper implementation of header tags, inclusion of main keywords in H2, contextual interlinking, facts, outbound do-follow links that could help the readers, not writing too short or too long articles, Failure to implement on-page SEO properly will lead to your posts disappearing from the SERPs. Off-page SEO (backlinks, social signals, outreach, PBNs if needed, competitor analysis, competitor backlink gap analysis) I have decided to simplify everything for everyone so we can make the right choices. We will take them one after the other. |
i am making the thread now |
After service today, I should make a guide on how to start a new blog for beginners, what you should be after, and realistic expectations of income. https://www.nairaland.com/7812492/how-start-blog-profitable-path#12527914 |
PawsitiveBro:Yeah... For beginners, you don't need that link, because you don't know what you're doing yet. So, the focus is always on the content. By the way, your method of growing a blogs, is it different from mine? Do you have ideas to share? |
online4business:You went to school man. You were taught to learn different subjects, and in University you were made to borrow courses–all for the sake of versatility. Did your secondary school or university ask about the subject or topic you're more passionate about? You need to research domains, niches, and keywords before you start any blog. Once you're good with SEO and Keyword research, you could always survive in any niche. I could write on crypto, forex, garden, home, business, and even Islam studies, but I am a Christian. You need to research for niches with lots of easy keywords you could exploit before you start blogging. Your earning screenshot shows you don't have up to 10 posts ranking on NO1 on Google. If you follow my method, if you write 100 articles, you should have 85+ ranking NO1 on Google. My biggest prayer for you is for you to excel with this first blog, you will certainly see the need to spread to other niches, and you will have money to pay writers to get the job done for you, or you may even want to try things out yourself. The more you keep trying to prove a point, the more you keep showing you have a limited mind. Like I said, do whatever you like, on your thread. I am done with the back and forth. |
Peledonomy:Send a Dm |
Peledonomy:I would love to, but I may not have the time to train you, as everything is time sensitive. Anyways, take the opportunity and advance your skill, once you can perfect your writing, always feel free to knock at my door. |
online4business:No be quarrel! Gambling is not to make money quickly... It's for recreational purposes. You have a little mind. Everything we do every day is a form of gambling; deciding to blog full-time is a risk, and going out every day is a risk(you could get killed). I hope you'll be successful in life, since all the people that don't gamble end well. Thanks! I have two kids, and they are getting the best of life, what other responsibility? You probably take care of just yourself, if at all. There is no laid-down way of life... It is even those that are too holy or think they know it all or know the right way of life that end up living an average or below-average life. I have grown and Sold lots of blogs without passion; it is not a criterion at all... You are advising people wrongly. I have told you before to do that on your thread. I have nothing against you, but your school of thought is different from mine, and you should document it on your thread. |
Very straight to the point: I am starting a writing agency, but I need so many good hands. Everyone who can type a letter or two will classify themselves as a writer, but not everyone can actually write an SEO-optimized article. The rules of engagement are simple: given that I will spend a lot on advertising, the base pay will range from 2.5 naira to 3 naira per word depending on if the buyer will be paying with USDT or PayPal, and we hope to increase the money to 4–5 naira as we cover advertising costs. Requirements. 1. Each article must be well-researched, and you'll quote authority figures (vets, Doctors, or whoever) depending on the niche. 2. Rewriting AI articles will only waste your time, as each article will be read and audited by me. Besides tools to check readability scores and AI, I will manually read through all articles. And I can't pay for low-quality trash, as that will affect my sites or the sites of my clients. 3. The introduction could be optimized to win featured snippets, or the body should be optimized to win featured snippets (I can teach you that). 4. The article should be thoughtful, and you should be able to use any tone the buyer demands—feminine, friendly, informative, and all that. 5. Your outline is very important, and I may have to review all outlines before you begin writing. AI-generated outlines in each niche are always similar, and they don't always cover the reader's intent. You should be able to ask yourself, "What do these readers want to learn from this article?" Then you'll be able to come up with a great outline. 6. I will need to see samples of your old work, plus I will appreciate it if you use Quilibot to correct grammatical errors, and you can sharpen your native English speaking and writing skills with lots of apps on the Play Store. Please don't waste your time or mine; if you're not up to the task, just move on. When I review articles written by you, I could ask for the source of your information at any point, as all research must be verified. Usually, forums and other sites provide lots of information that could be used to put together a quality article. I will appreciate it if you also include niches where you're more knowledgeable. As soon as we have gotten the hands we need, I can source for people that will be using your services by advertising on platforms I have deemed workable, and we could also work on my personal projects. My contact is on my signature |
online4business:Not True... Do I like fireplaces or have use for them? No! but I did a blog on lots of easy keywords I found there. Same Thing with countertops. Until you have grown more than one blog to earn over $500 monthly, you can't really state what works. I blog because of the money; if it comes to what I am passionate about, it is technology, but I have stayed away from it given the tough competition. When you blog for money, you set your priorities right, and you even become more serious. Blogging for passion will make you write articles on topics you like rather than on easy keywords you could instantly rank for. Emotions will always play their part, stunting your growth in the process. I am a Gambler, but never bet on manchester united, because its a team i love so much, and my emotions may not let me judge correctly. |
Beverlyjean:Lier from the pit of hell. Since 2019 he hasn't even featured in top 5 goal scorers. You go wail tire.
|
childofgrace2k:I have seen websites get away with Chatgpt articles. Hayfarmguy.com But if you do a proper audit on his backlink profile, you'll see he bought lots of quality backlinks. Google Bot is the best and most intelligent bot that keeps learning, but quality links or authority sites will always hack Google SERPS. If you don't have money for backlinks, write your well-optimized article yourself, even if it's one a day. It'll amount to something big in 10–12 months. An article without links barely gets growth for new sites, even some old ones. To generate and edit an AI article of 1500 words, you will spend 1 hour, tops. To write a well-optimized article will take 2+ hours; the choice is yours. |
progress so far? I sold three blogs recently( $250, $1400, and $2500), and for a very good reason at that, but I still retained 10. My friend opened my eyes to offline advertising stuff that I never even considered all my life. What you don't know is bigger than you sha. So, I sold the blogs to diversify my income, since most of my earning is going into savings for my Saas project. The Saas project should be completed by next year, by God's grace! I have chosen and registered a business name, and I aim to chase down Alphabet and Meta lol. Everything is possible sha. Also, starting a writing and SEO agency, so I will have to recruit as many good writers as I can find. In the meantime, if you're looking for a profitable niche, I'd advise you to venture into headphones, apple products, and generally products people buy every day, but have it in mind that they are not evergreen niches, as the search volume for blackberry bold two 10 years ago will not be the same now. There are over 1000 niches you could choose from, and some are even very easy, take your time and do some research, don't just rush into blogging, or you'll rush out. When starting out, if possible, invest 200k on a quality auction domain, and you will never regret it. It'll help you avoid waiting for years or writing a million articles to start seeing results. You won't experience google dance, and you'll rank top easily for any easy keyword. Take advantage of Ai sites in your niche, and use them to find keywords you could exploit. Look for sites offering guest posts and build your link profile after due diligence. If you have any questions regarding blogging, feel free to ask. |
emmanex2000:share your samples on my whatsapp. |
online4business:till you try blogging with writers under you, and links you can pay for, the whole new thing we be a new world youll love to experience. |
online4business:Your submission is beautiful, but it's not absolute. None of us could tell the exact way Google reacts, we can only predict from experience and not from what we read online. We have 4 types of domains... The new/fresh, the deleted, the expired, and the expired auction. When you blog with the first 3, it might take from 2 days to 14 days before your first posts get indexed(after setting up your GSC and submitting your sitemap). But auction domains start getting indexed the same day. Now we have different types of links... Foundation links(for new sites) Profile links Forum links Social signals Editorial links Niche edits Guest posts PBN Web 2.0... E.t.c. For deleted, expired, and auction domains, getting an editorial link in your first week is not even early, as they already have strong links possibly, so to Google, it's a natural addition to the existing link profile. And this can give your entire site or post a great boost. FYI an editorial link from Forbes will cost you from $800 - $2000 depending on placement and vendor. You can achieve the same effect by getting a quality link from the kings in your niche which will cost $300+. So how many of us Nigerians will rush and pack 20 $300 quality links on the first week of blogging? None! Except those with a good income structure. Why you'll get penalized is if you use lots of cheap low-quality links to your site. There is no safe time for buying links, if you get good links in the first week(obviously, your posts have to be indexed first) you'll reap the rewards. If you get low-quality links even to a site that is 4 years old, you'll still be penalized... It's more like the dark tactics called negative SEO(: people send low-quality links or p0rn links to their competitor–causing them to lose rank.) For fresh and newly registered sites, you'll need more social signals. If you're working with an expert, they'll draft a year's plan which may cost $500 -$2000/month, and links will be built in a natural frequency to your homepage and inner pages. Everything I've tender here is from my personal experience. Blogging is only hard and stressful when you're trying to do it without spending money or when you have money to spend, but you're using the wrong tactics. Either ways, blogging is not magic, and it takes an average blogger 6 months before they start profiting. |

Will buy from escrow |
Olasyke:Lol 😆 I see what you did there. |
ClixMaster:You can just buy a quality backlink and point to your site without issues, but if you want it to have so much power that it pushes the needle–you have to buy much or tier it, depending on the difficulty of the keyword. You don't just point spammy or low-quality exploited links( forum profiles, contextual links in forum profiles, social bookmarks, and ranker x or GSA) directly or you'll get penalized. Web 2.0's are safe for your money sites if you decide to build them directly. And they are not necessarily weak. To have more advantage... Search for your keyword on Google... If you find any Web 2.0 ranking in the SERPs, then use that one more. Eg. You search for 'best cover flower for my lawn' and you scroll through the first 5 - 10 pages of the search result–if you find any lawn. on any of those pages, then use more WordPress. |
Pennywise2:For both. If your homepage has strong links, the entire site will benefit. |
VinnyBaba:I know your type... Very evil, but always wanting to sound right. |
Kobicove:That's the point... I'll keep sharing more. |
ClixMaster:I do t get you. |
It can be pretty frustrating when you just started a blog and you're making lots of posts yet you don't see instant results, or when. Your site ranks today, but don't rank tomorrow. Well, if you're not using AI content or plagiarised content, you're facing Google Dance. So, Let's understand and explore how you can resolve it. What is Google Dance? When you start a blog newly, you should be ready to experience "Google Dance" even on some expired domain. Google Dance is when you rank high today, and tomorrow, you rank nowhere. It can be a random occurrence, but the best way to combat it is topical authority, backlinks, or waiting for 4-6 months. What causes Google Dance? 1. Weak domain 2. A domain that has been inactive for long 3. Random Google bot acts, trying to determine where your post is best ranked. 4. A penalized site 5. A site used for spam or as a link farm How to resolve with topical authority Don't go focusing on all the sub-niches in your niche. E.g If your niche is in home tools, don't go writing about all at once, focus on hammer and write 50 posts, then move on to screwdrivers, then move on to pliers, and so forth. Pro tip: only niche down or blog on one sub-niche–if the sub-niche has lots of keywords you can explore in the long term. Imagine starting a blog on a sub or micro niche in the dog niche "Afghan hound" and I choose a domain to match the niche–when I exhaust the keywords(which happens sooner than later), I can't venture into another breed or niche because the whole site was built around an Afghan hound. How to resolve Google Dance With Backlinks Most people opt for backlinks just because they are excited about it–they don't even think of if it is the right choice at the time or not, or if they're getting spammy links, or if they should point such links to their money sites. Although my method focuses on content and KW research, you shouldn't overlook the power or backlinks. Let's explore the tiers of backlinks below: For tier 1's( The backlinks you point to your money site) you should be looking at guest posts, niche edits, social signals, quality EDU and gov(not the profile or forum or over-spammed comment sections), 301's and PBNs, or a mix of all to both homepage and top performing posts. You power this with Web 2.0 and social bookmarks for tier two ( Backlinks pointed to the backlinks that are pointed to your money site). And GSA or Ranker x for tier three( tier three will be pointed to tier 2). These links can be indexed easily. You may be asking, why all this stress? It makes your backlinks as powerful as anything else. This is the difference between an off-page Seo amateur and an off-page SEO pro. When buying links, don't be foolish to concentrate on DA PA UR DR and other ratings alike... These are not Google metrics, you want to check the performance of any site you're getting links from, to see how they perform on Google before you get problems. You're better off building your PBN or buying links from authority sites in your niche. Always concentrate on niche-relevant links. Quality backlinks will make Google trust your site and rank you faster and better. How to resolve by waiting 4 - 6 months Usually, over 70 percent of people who start blogging–quit after a few posts, because they were expecting instant results, they read so many lies on Google, they miraculously wanted to perform well without backlinks on difficult keywords. When you start blogging, you don't expect results immediately, you should be intentional and have a long-term plan. It takes 6 months for your site to age and mature in Google's eyes. This doesn't mean you won't see any results within that period; you will get lots of clicks and impressions, but you will get even more after 6 months. It's more like when you're aging a wine, you don't just put it in the cask and start drinking it the next day, you will let it sit for months or even years, to let the flavor of the tree you're using to sink in, and of course–prevent any form of oxidation, to avoid the wine turning to vinegar. Well, this is how Google will wait for some months, to see if you are putting out some quality helpful articles before they start favoring your site over others. This is not in all cases, as a site that has been indexed with 5 to ten articles and left to mature will outperform a newly registered site. More reason why I go for auction domains, or why I buy lots of domains and let them sit with a few articles, and when I see that it has started to perform well, then I start building on it. The deleting and re-indexing method. Copy your post and it's picture to another draft, then delete the post you've previously published, then publish the draft you just made. It works wonders. |
Goalty01:Which of them? The most profitable is my shoe blog, and it is quite old, I'd have to check the registrar to find out how old. I've sold a few, but I still hold some under the Pet niche(about 3 now) Home and baby Christian/Islam/Hindu Expired food niche And four new others I don't wish to disclose. These 10 sites are not up to two years, just a year, or just a few months old. In case you want to venture into blogging, don't forget it can never get saturated. And you can succeed at any time you join, you just need to know what you're doing. Also, if you have the means, you can secure 5-10 sites, dump 3 articles written with easy keywords, and let the sites sit for 2-3 months, while you focus on just one site. In 2-3 months, 7 should be performing very well, if you have the means, you can build these sites to sell, or build and keep earning from them. |
