My client has accrued airtime across all the networks totalling well over N1,000,000 and would need to convert this to cash; albeit at a discounted rate. How best do you advise this is acheived, if possible?

This role has a starting date of 1st of September 2011 and guarantees to pay a minimum of N600K per annum and up to N1m per annum depends upon the experience presented by the applicant. A blackberry phone and an Internet enabled laptop will be provided to aid smooth communication with other team members around the world.

Due to the nature of this role, the consulting firm will remain anonymous until shortlisted.

The role is with an IT consulting firm based in Lagos that offers business technology solutions to large and high growth companies in Nigeria, Ghana and South Africa. The firm is the only firm in Nigeria that provides localised Software as a Solution (SaaS) that fit a variety of business areas which include Human Resources, Inventory Management, Financial Accounting, Tax, Sales & Marketing, Customer Service, Logistics and Planning, Manufacturing. Activities also involve high level advisory and consulting intervention.

The concept of SaaS is offering business softwares to companies who agree to a “pay as you go” model. This means that the consulting firm provides the software and underlying infrastructure to companies for free in return of a monthly fee or payment based on number licenses. The firm currently has over 10 major clients and considering the personalised nature of these services, they require dedicated IT consultants to set-up, monitor and manage every installation and solution on a client by client basis.
There is an opportunity to employ an IT consultant to manage two service lines (Learning systems and Project Accounting systems) for two or more clients. The role involves the following tasks and activities:

[/list]Read and understand the dynamics of how learning systems and project accounting systems work (Reading materials will be provided specific to the solutions)
• Understand the detailed business processes on learning management and project accounting
• Understand basic systems installations: The right person will run the installation of the underlying servers and application systems.
• Servers are pre-dominantly Windows 2003 and/or Windows 2008 servers. This means that the right person will have experience with server installation, management and basic trouble shooting
• Understand installation of apache, IIS, MySQL, PHP and general script installation on windows servers. This will also involve the monitoring of all associated services.
• Understand the installation and act as first line support of the applications to be deployed (An intensive training programme will be provided to the right person)
• Be at client site ensuring that the services are all running smoothly and taking notes of any client concerns. These concerns will have to be escalated to international contacts in a quick and efficient manner
• Ensure that billing and other monitoring indices are accurately captured
• Since there is a huge consulting element to it, the right person may be required to participate is sales pitches and making presentation and training to prospective clients and existing clients respectively.
This role requires an ideal person with the following qualifications and attributes:
• Must be a graduate of a university, polytechnic or similar higher institutions
• Speak very good English, composes themselves well and acts respectfully
• Be looking smart and confident at all times
• Must have atleast 1 year post graduate experience
• Willingness to travel locally and internationally when required

A cleint is shipping their personal effects from UK using a 20 foot container. Personal effects include clothes, electronics, TVs, Fridges, Washing Machine, Cookers, Bicycles, Children's Toys, Chairs, Settees, Dinning Tables, etc, infact all the works.

All packaging and shipping fees have been paid from the UK and needs only clearance through Nigerian customs and then delivered to house on the Island.
