Felaincarnated: You are all blaming farmers as if it's the farmers that sell direct to the market. When you know the supply chain involved in the production of foods till it gets to the final consumers, then you will understand that high cost of inputs, labourers, feeding, mentanance , high cost of transportation and other factors are put in place before it gets to you. Tell the government to return subsidy, stop floating of naira and control inflation. |
![]() |
franchasofficia: Let them go and farm so that supply will be much. Inputs has increased by over 300% which makes most farmer to farm less and some didn't bother to farm. |

[quote author=Northernblood9 post=130381669]I will suggest that Nigerians boycott some of these perishable foods. Let these greedy farmers suffer heavy loss. It is not proper that federal government will fund these farmers to encourage self sufficiency but yet, these greedy bastards will still make these foods non affordable for common man [/quote. Go and farm with government funds. You are not complaining about high cost of farm inputs you are insulting people that are still trying to make food available. As at January, Cutlass was sold for #1500 but by April that same Cutlass is now #6000. So is the farmers fault right? Fertilizer was #18k last year but today is above #50k. So it's that farmers fault right. My brother withdraw that your statement and ask for forgiveness. Thank you. |

You can blame the retailers, box of small indomitable sells for 3500 before from distributors and now the retails buys it for #15000 from the market to sell at home. How much do you want her to sell the product. Multiple factors contributed to the high cost of food items in Nigeria |

But Gbajabiamila was the speaker house of representatives then, he didn't see anything bad with that agreement, Keyamo also was a minister of the Federal republic and he didn't raise or see it as something bad and also voiced out. 1 Like |
