Hummmm. Sometimes you can't do without having them. But they are 2% since have start oooo they are 2% in my business maybe because of how I used to monitor them.

If they sent message I will make sure that I call them twice before telling my delivery company to send it to them. Even I used to ask when they will be at home.

You make sure you act as if you love them much. If they don't need it they will tell you that they are traveling or that they used the money in their hands for something yesterday and they will beg you to keep it for them till month end.

Good morning to you all. I planned to finish this update within a week but I later noticed that a week will not be enough. But we should be able to finish it today and we will be able to handle the questions and post our results.

Today we want to talk on How to Target the right Audience.

If you don’t do it right you will not get any result. As easy as facebook is to reach your audience, and is very easy to lose money if you don’t target the right audience. A company invited me last week to help them set up the facebook ads, their marketing manager has tried that without any result.

I did it perfectly and they started seeing the result within 5days and that make them trust me. I was not born to know who to target and I didn’t learn it anywhere. I practice it and I got it right. Even if you learn it and you don’t practice it, you won’t become master in it.

This is how I used to think…………

I will check the benefits of the products I want to advertise, see people who need it. I don’t care if I need the product myself, what I care about is who will need the products, how important the products will be to them, can they use their last money to buy it, is it something they can’t do without. Etc.

If am able to get answer to those questions I will know how to target them. Another thing is where do they usually go, if I want to go and meet them where will I find them, what activates are they doing online, where do they usually hangout, do they trust buying things online? I can even find out the page they likes online, if they used to click ads on facebook etc. if am in USA I can find out their monthly income, the size of their household. Etc. But I can still find out here in Nigeria, which Job are they doing and many things like that. A Facebook ad is wide, if you want to learn more you can contact me.

Now! I found some answers to those questions. I want to promote weight lose and infertility products sometime last year, and I have to research on how to target the right audience. I noticed that people who have been looking up to God for fruit of womb will buy my guide even if they don’t have money they will borrow it right? I noticed that 22-26 years old ladies are desperate to lose weight because they believed that many guys don’t like overweight. I found out that I can find the same people in the church, mosque or other places. I checked the page they like and find out that they will like health, health magazine, online stuff, they likes Jumia and Konga. Etc

You can see I knows who need my products. The same thing with car scanner. When I wanted to advertise it I target online shopping, Toyota, E A Adeboye, Winner, Jumia, Konga, Cars etc. and I got good result. You just need to think what your audience will be looking for.

You use cash on delivery we also called it POD. Pay on delivery. If you don't use pay on delivery in Nigeria, you are not ready to make money on importation.

CONTINUE TO FACEBOOK ADS

If you don’t know anything about facebook ads it will be difficult for you to understand write up. The only way you can learn is through video. But this post will help people who knows little or who is expert on facebook ads.

You can check the pictures bellow to see the steps by step on what I will be discussing here. If you login to your facebook ads, you will see Traffic, engagement, Apps install, video views, Lead generations, Conversation, Store visits. Etc.

All these have their purpose. I explained the work on my videos, you can still get it and If you get it you will have access to my future videos on facebook ads for free.

Now, what you need there is Engagement. You want likes, share and comment on your ads so far you are not sending people to your store right? You are selling it on facebook. And with my experience, people use to notice any ads with good engagement. And if your ads have good engagement, anytime you want to advertise it again, facebook will charge you less than the first time.

I usually paid for engagement for the products am advertising on facebook. Though I do send traffic to my website and I used lead generation sometimes for my clients and I even want to start using it for real estate business because I have some Tips on how you can use Lead Generation to make good sales on real estate.

Advice:

In trying to sell your products on facebook, don’t try to use video views. Is a waste of money, with my experience, video views is not good. Pay for engagement and you will get good result.

After choosing your objective, It will take you to another page as you can see on my second pix. You will need to choose the name of the campaign the age, the location, the audience interest and the budget.

In choosing the age, it depends on the products you are selling. But if you are selling car scanner, I will advice you chose from 26-55. Yes! That is the best. You don’t want to choose from 18 because 95% of Nigerian 18years are not using car, we are in Nigeria not in US. But there are many 24years old who is using car. If you check facebook insight audience you will see that the % from 26-34 will be higher. But you need to extend it to 55years.

After choosing the age, you will need to choose the right location. You can choose by state or even a town. For example, when I started, I don’t want to use any delivery company and I was not in Lagos. I try targeting Lagos state alone because my brother was in Lagos and once I get order, he will go and deliver it there. Though the result is okay but, if you want to make good sales, you better target all Nigeria and use delivery company.

You can still target a place if what you are selling is within that environment. Like if you have an even center and you know that people in Ibadan cannot come to Lagos after the church service to come and rent your event for reception, is not possible. Then, you need to target only Lagos. Even you can target your area alone. Let say your club house is In Abule Egba and you are targeting people at Lekki or Ajah, is a waste of money. You can target people in Agege, Abule egba, Ijaye, Ikeja, Iyana Paja. Etc. With that you will get the right audience.

So, make sure you target the right audience for you not to be paying more than what you will get. You can even target outside the country. Last year when I was promoting clickbank products, I notice that am not getting good result, I now make some research to see the countries that buying clickbank products very well. I notice that 11 different countries are buying clickbank more than other countries. I placed an ads and target 5 of these countries and I got good result. So, make sure you know where your audiences are and target them.

I will talk about Interest in the next update. But before I will leave this page. I will advice you that. If you are selling making money products or you are selling Digital products. Don’t even try to target North, I mean Nigeria north except Abuja. Because you will not get good result, that is the truth talk!

If you have been selling online before, maybe you are selling health products, or any digital products shaaa. You will notice that 99% of people who calls you are either Yoruba or Igbo. If you have not take note then, you are not a good marketer. But, physical products, you can target them because you are targeting Nigeria. Though the calling rate from there will still be very low but you will still get result.

If you follow me very well you will see how I said you can translate the site Language.
Masks sure you get the real name of the product you want to search for. Sometimes you may not get it but if its hot products you will surely get it. And we are focusing on the hottest products.
You can also go to Google translator and translate the products language from English to Chinese language and use it to search.....

We want to start on how to set up facebook ads.

Before we go deeply on that I want to tell you that facebook is the livewire of any business today. If you are selling sand, you can target people who need it through facebook. No matter what you are selling, facebook is the right place to advertise.

Facebook is also very cheap. Despite the fact that they will be showing your ads to the right people, they will still charge small amount of money. For example; one of the ads am running on facebook, they charge me #1.20 per engagement. If I want to advertise on Nairaland or Linda Blog do you know how much it will cost to place ads on the right place and I may not even get the result I will get in using just 3k on facebook. Linda Blog will even give me more result than Nairaland because ladies need that products more than man.

Now, Facebook is charging me #1.20 per engagement and every 3k I spent to advertise always give me nothing less than 15sales and the products is selling for 10k which is 150k right? I don’t need to tell you that the result is good especially when the profits is good because the same products cost me less than $3 both order and shipping.

I was able to get that result because I targeted the right audience. Though, my first 3ads was bad. I can remember that the first ads I set back in 2015 was bad. I spent $10 to get only five sign up to my newsletters for one of my health blog. Even around January when I want to set ads for this same products I made little mistake by targeting the wrong people. I can remember that I spent 2k to make just 2sales which is very bad. Though I still make a lot of gain but, if you want to make six figures weekly, that one is not good.

I was not okay; I have to sit down re-strategize to see where I can find my audience. It was then I knew that narrow further your audience on facebook will give you good result. And if you understand what you are selling you will know where your audiences are and how to find them.
Tomorrow, I will be using the car scanner as an example. How to target the right audience who are interested in car scanner.

The logistics can only ship your goods AFTER they receive the goods from the seller (cos most sellers stay in other provinces), so if the seller delays in sending the goods to the logistics company, there will also be a delay in the delivery to Nigeria.
So the 24-48hrs time frame is not fixed.

Many people used to make that mistake. Another thing that can help u is to send the link of the product you want to buy to them to see if the supplier address is not far to their office. If it's far, then find another seller or you tell them to help you find another seller that the address is not far to their office and with the same price.

There are many way to sell your imported products but the best place to sell it fast is facebook. No matter what you want to sell, your potential buyers are on facebook, they are waiting for your product. Though you can also sell it on ecommerce sites, but if you really want to make 100k before Dec. you better run facebook ads.

Why facebook ads?

Marketers have agreed that facebook helped them to increase their business profits faster than any other advertising medium because you can target people who really need your products on facebook. I will be showing you how to do this when we want to set up ads.
You can target people base on their age, gender, interest, job etc. Even people in USA can target people base on their household salary and many more. But that is not possible for people outside USA.

You will learn everything during the facebook ads.

The next thing we will be looking for is how to source for the video to use for your ads. Video is very important if you want to advertise on facebook and get good result your video must get people’s attention in the first 5seconds.
Where do you get this video?

Youtube! Yes. There are billions of videos there. Don’t even try to use picture with some long words. You and I knew that Nigerian don’t read. Even after writing the price on the products you are promoting they will message you and ask how much. And if you are using text ads, be sure that you are wasting money. Image is even better but video is the best.

Video will show your prospective customers what they stands to gain if they buy the products and they will be ready to order.
For example, there is one particular product am selling. Is the number one hot cake product am selling. At first, I don’t want to order it, I ordered for 10pcs and I sold it all before I even sell half of others. Immediately, I ordered for 50pcs. I sold it all within 2weeks. And my ads is #500 per day on facebook. I used 6k to sell 50pcs of product. Calculate the price 10k each.

I went to one of my delivery company office on Monday. The man was telling me that my product is cheap that people who are selling the same product are selling it for 15k. I don’t need to make my price too high because I knew how much am spending on ads. Some people don’t know how to target the right audience and they are spending much money on ads.

So, you will go to Youtube and search for the videos you want. For example; we are talking about Car scanner here. Just go to Youtube search and search for Car scanner or OBD ll Car scanner. You will get loads of videos.

Now, you will need to download this video to your computer. To download the video. This is Youtube url: http:// youtube.com. Simply remove that http and www and put ss. It will be ssyoutube.com/whatever, whatever. The picture bellow will show you what I mean. A page will load to see the format to download. You will need to download mp4 720. You know you will need to edit it and you want to get the best. If 720 is not available, download 360. But if 720 is available please, download it and you don’t need a video that is more than 2minutes. Even that two minutes, you will cut it when you get to editing.

Download it to your system and because that is what you will edit tomorrow. This editing is for people who is using system oooo. I don’t use phone editor, if you can use it fine! But I don’t use it and I can’t teach you what I don’t use. If you want me to source the video and edit for you I can do that if you can afford my charges. If you want to start fast.
