I honestly expected our players to become aggressive with Ragnick as the coach but that didn't work. As it couldn't work during Rangnick time that, I just knew that most of these our "star players" can never become more aggressive and contribute more. This same silly excuse. The midfield you played against yesterday was Rice, Odeggard and Havertz. Is it magic they used in dominating the midfield yesterday. Madison may not be perfect for the role but he's going to be miles better in that position than Mason Mount is. His ball retention, passing range, vision, and other core midfielder attributes are better than Mount's.

Zero Hang shouldn't be given too much power over transfers. Mr. P. E. teacher should've been retained to handle that.

Yea Madison is clearly the better player, though still not fit for the role.. they both are attacking midfielders.

Still I can't wrap my head how both Arsenal and Man utd chose Mount and Havertz respectively when there's Madison available and cheaper

I agree to an extent, but he just doesn't have the skill set to be an effective one, he can do a job on the RW, he's just really bad as a CF, apart from goals he offers nothing in that position.

Onana is a good signing, I think that De gea performance in the final and the agenda from the media and old skool boys association made it seem like it was no.1 priority, when It clearly wasn't.

Seeing as our budget's quite limited, we could have still let De gea go and replace him with Henderson since na counter attacking team we wan turn to so. and then add the Onana money with Hojlund money to get Kane.

Rashford has his own problems but he's not a center forward, doesn't have any qualities to be one apart from his ball striking, McToilet will even be a better option as a CF than Rashford.

I still don't understand why we didn't even make an attempt to get Harry Kane.

On a controller, I think he puts all his hope on Mainoo, he seems to rate him very high.

I'm not convinced on Amrabat, people glamoring for his signings will be shocked if or when he comes, world cup has probably fooled a lot of people, we should just make do with McToilet and use the money to get a cheap attacking option in the market.

Madison was there, and ETH went for Mount. You watch them play and you wonder what they do in training. After all the preseason, they will always take some time to get into the season. Soon Rashford will pick form and score some odd goals,and they will go on a winning run even when they don't play well, and people will forget all the problems with the club. But the problems will definitely come back

it's not even about the player qualities per say, I don't think Madison will also thrive playing in this current position Mount seems to be occupying.

I don't understand how he seems to think a midfield three of ours that has zero ball retention, and almost zero press resistance is going to work in the PL, I'm even surprised we managed to have a good first half.

Also, another issue about Ten Hag is.. his signings and the way he wants to play are contradictory. You can't claim to want to be transition monsters when you have an attacker like antony who's not fast and relies heavily on combination play.

When you want to be a a counter attacking team you need to have very fast attackers on the wing, cause you'll rely heavily on wing play.

You can't buy antony as your marque signing whose profile fits in a possession based team, and then turn around to sign mount the other season who's the complete opposite of a possession based team player.
