Guys my laptop has an inbuilt blutut. So i did not use my pc suite.4 nokia it workd perfectly and 4 sagem it did work 2. But my prob is that i just bought this sony erricson w880i, the celtel settings did not even work on the phone to talk of pc. But it works with the internet settns. I think the celtel wap/mms trick is restricted to some fones. Anybody wit a view abt this lets knw.

@info thanks alot. But prob is that i used that link yestaday but it only sent the settings alone with out activating the sim. I dont undastand y. But hope u do.pls. The link opend celtels ip. I stil use the internet settings. Cos one of my sim wasnt deactivated

How i wished everybody in nairaland follows this trend (giving detail explanation on problems like this, insteading asking peeps to send their phone or email ad b4 they get help. Info u try,at least i have no doubts about ur capability again.

Info just because of u, i'l make dis contribution.
After u have instald al d neccesary drivers and ur pc suite recognices ur phone. Go to control panel - internet options. Highlite the phone modem then click settings. A new dialog box appears, unclick the two check boxes on top. There two check boxes below too. Click on both of them then type in celtels Ip: 172.18.254.5 and port nó 8080. Also type the user name and pasword. Mms . Then ok.reconect and u are done. Note that u also to have to type ur access point in the pc suite. And make sure u named ur access point on your fone 2. For s40 fones go to settings - connectivity - gprs or packet data. For symbian fones go to tools-settings-connections-access point.
Hope this works 4 u.cos it does 4 me.
