It's quite common for Nigerians to attempt to take advantage of their friends and relations who are well-heeled. They come up with all sorts of stories to make some money off the person. Nothing wrong in helping some of those who are genuinely in distress, but be careful about the opportunists.

i guess it was like 4th of may, 2007 (dis yr, dis yr it happened), a friend of mine told me on 6th of may, that a Nigerian business guy (an ibo guy) was travelling from bangkok 2 macau with cocain being wrapped in his stomach. so the plane delayed (like 5hr) in bangkok as he stayed in the airport b4 he could travel to macau airport. as he was in macau airport, he died cuz of the cocain being wrapped in his stomach (as it was hidden).
