Yeah... but d batt is below 4000mah. The least I've been using is 4000mah and I don't want to go below that. Thnks all d same.

Ooh.... just seeing this. It's a good phone for the price. The screen is good and is well readable even in hot sun. The performance is fast, real power of 4gb ram. Its camera is one of the reasons I bought it and I'm not disappointed at all. It's really wow even in low light environment, the flash is like 'halogen bulb' grin. The battery isn't bad too. Hilariously, I've used the phone as my mobile remote control for most appliances around me.

The only thing I don't like about the UI is that its menu bar (Quick Settings drop down bar) isn't in the conventional Android way of swiping down from the top part of the phone. U only achieve this by pressing Overview button (i.e one of the 3 Navigation buttons). On the heat, it's such as obtainable in any other Android device. Btw, I will advise you get the tempered glass with it at purchase since the replacement screen may not be that cheap as well as its immediate availability.

These guys selling are also recommended. They are trust worthy.

Feel free to ask me any other thing you need to know about the phone.

Pls I need recommendation on any good phone bigger than 5.5inch but not more than 6inch, with good battery, camera and at least 2gb RAM.

Budget btw 35 - 42k

Note: I enjoyed d camera and batt on Coolpad cool I got lately but gave it out on passionate ground. Not tired of it though but just needed a bigger screen.

Hi all,

I hv a Jiayu g4s (16gb + 1gb) phone dat hs really given me pleasure. I'm still in love wt it, though it's still running on stock rom wt Android 4.1

1. Everything hs bn working perfectly till I started noticing d camera getting frozen. If I engage d camera to take a few shots, then leave d environment to do other things wt d phone, by d time I want to use d camera again, it would hv frozen. I wl hv to reboot d phone before I could use d camera. I hv also tried several third-party camera app bt d same freezing effect. I hv also tried resetting (re-formatting) d phone bt d problem persists. Pls what can I do?

2. Since d stock rom didn't come wt Screen recorder, I hv tried several third-party screen recorder on d phone bt none hs worked. Pls who hs used dis app successfully on dis phone before? Hw can I get a compatible one?

3. I'm having a strong feeling flashing a new rom may correct these anomalies, at least to Android 4.4 or 5.0 outrightly bt I'm really concerned about getting d right rom and its attendant effects. Also scared of d chinese language thing.

Pls who hs successfully done any of those custom ROMs before and what are d likely improvements and bugs therein? What's d link to such rom and other apps needed to carry out d flash?

Pls help a fellow. Thnks.

Jiayu G4s was the last phone i used up to 5 months before i sold it off and that will tell you how strong, durable and good the phone was.
My oga@ d top, thnks 4 sharing. Btw, using a phone for 5 months & disposing may nt necessarily suggest it is good, except I don't get d gist here! Is it as in your kind of personality using G4s or as in 5-month life span b4 sold suggesting 'strong, durable & good'?

. So hw abt taking shots at nite esp.wt d 13mp back cam where there's no light at all?
. Is d flash light as strong as obtainable in most BB?
. Does d 3000mAh battery last? Can u give rough idea of your usage in d 5 months?

I read ur post and you highlighted that android sucks and u just need a phone with a good Camera.

If you are on a budget, then you should go for the Infocus M2. Probably the cheapest phone with that has a sharp camera quality.

Based on your on-budget suggestion, I quickly did a little surfing on Infocus M2 & I gt dis spec:
Android 4.4, 1.3ghz Quad core, 1280x768, 355ppi, 1gb/8gb, 8mp/8mp, 2010mAh removable, micro sim x2.

As much as I would readily fall 4 dis, d 4.2inch screen partially chopped off by huge black margin up/down d screen & two micro-sim gave me immediate restrain. I'd loved relatively bigger screen btw 4.7-5inch and atleast one mini, one micro: (if nt mini sim x2).

G4S back camera is actually 13MP lens but it takes a while to get a good focus. The front camera as a reddish tone.
Pls explain dis beta. Is it as in taking a long time to process a snapped shot or taking time to set d viewfinder to avoid blur pictures? Now if u finally 'get good focus' is d 13mp outcome close to or beta than d Infocus M2's 8mp picture?

The can on both dg350 and T4k is 2MP front and 5MP back (interpolated to 8MP in dg350) the camera takes clear picture but you might want to ask it to much due to ur previous experience.
I hv bn hear about dis interpolated to ... pls what does it suggest?

If you get loose budget then; Meizu MX4 Jiayu S3, Ecoo Eo4 plus, Zopo Lion Heart, Xiaomi Mi 4, Lenovo Vibe X2, etc
Pls do more justice here, kindly give their likely cost. Are they beta in browsing speed, cam, battery & screen spec?

From experience, I'll advice you go for jiayu g4s which you can actually upgrade to official KitKat 4.4 making it to the spec list out of the three you mentioned. I've used 5 different jiayu including g4s and I've never for once regretted the choice
Thnks sir. Bt is d 13mp cam d real 13mp spec., as in, is d cam really sharp? I know adroid sucks. bt does d battery really last?
