They could just move to the next village where the ban does not extend to. The people from the affected village will be forced to pay transport (hence paying more) to the unaffected village and buy at the going rate.
Try it.

Can someone please kindly inform kabiyesi that while its good that he has banned middle men who inflate prices, he has not exactly ordered that fertiliser be sold at uninflated prices, nor has he placed any control on land prices and labour and transport costs that contribute to the price of food in the market. And that if the prices he has ordered mean I sell at a loss, there are other markets where i can take my food to sell at a profit.
Tell your elected reps to do that. Flout the order and perish

Fly a made in Iran plane at your own risk.
Even China with far advanced technology, their Chinese made planes called COMAC C919 are avoided being used by other countries across the world.
Only Boeing and Airbus made planes are preferred all over the world

Mohammad Mohammadi Bakhsh said on Sunday that a prototype version of Simorgh had successfully undergone flight tests, adding that various other tests have been carried out on the aircraft in recent months to prove its airworthiness.

Mohammadi Bakhsh said the CAA has been closely monitoring the tests and has received graphs and documents containing precise information about Simorgh’s performance.

Simorgh was unveiled in May 2022 as the first Iranian light transport aircraft. The plane is a modified version of IrAn-140, an Iranian-Ukrainian joint project which is based on Antonov An-140.

The new plane carried out its first successful flight in May 2023, nearly a year after it did a fast-taxi test, PressTV reported.

The Iranian defense ministry, which is in charge of manufacturing Simorgh, said just after the test flight that it had started the process of receiving a test certificate for the plane.

Mohammadi Bakhsh said Simorgh is quite different from IrAn-140 because its engine and fuselage have been modified.

He said that a second Simorgh aircraft is being built and technicians are attaching wings, landing gears, and engines to the plane.

The official said Iran is now in control of a home-grown plane-manufacturing industry that can join partnerships with international plane-makers.

He said that Simorgh is essentially a cargo plane but can join Iran’s fleet of short-haul regional jets in the future.

Reports in recent years have pointed to major progress in Iran’s aircraft production and maintenance sector.

That has come against the backdrop of sanctions imposed on the country by the United States as Iranian airlines have been barred from purchasing new planes.

Politics / Port Harcourt Refinery To Produce 12 Million Liters Of Petrol Daily From August by weyreypey: 9:15pm On Aug 08
Port Harcourt refinery will produce 12 million liters of petrol daily, to begin operation this month — Marketers

The Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN) has announced that the Port Harcourt refinery is on track to meet its August deadline for producing petroleum products and will be able to supply 10 to 12 million liters of petrol to marketers.

The National Operations Controller of IPMAN, Zarma Mustapha, made this statement in an interview with Channels TV on Thursday.

Mustapha said the refinery will boost the supply of petroleum products in the country to about 11 to 15 million liters daily, and help ensure energy availability across the board.

According to him, the refinery is set to operate independently and sell at the prevailing market price with little or no government interference.

“There is this understanding that the Port Harcourt refinery is going to perform independently and sell at whatever prevailing market price for them to recover their cost.

It is not going to be run like a government entity as it has been before. I believe that the refinery coming up, will really boost the demand and supply of PMS to nothing less than 11 to 15 million litres daily.

“I am confident and optimistic that this August deadline is going to be a realistic deadline. It will come on stream and fully produce all the necessary components that the refinery is supposed to produce. At least, at its capacity of 0,000 barrels, can give you 10 to 12 million litres of PMS,” he said.

Commenting on whether the refinery will help reduce the price of petrol in the country, Mustapha said that might be the case if the operators decide to sell at a subsided rate.

He, however, explained that the refinery has to recover its cost of operation, particularly the $1.5 billion loan it obtained from a creditor for its maintenance in 2021.

Accordingly, the spokesperson of the marketer said since the operators are also buying crude at an international price, they will have to recover their cost also.

“It depends on how much they are willing to sell. How much did they get the crude? Because they’re buying the crude at an international price too. They have to pay back the loan they took also.

“The $1.5 billion is a loan they took from one of these African financial institutions. I don’t know which one among them. They took the loan with the promise of paying back with whatever recoup from the earnings of the refinery,” he added.

Dele Momodu needs to chill. Tinubu knows what he’s doing; he’s not a novice in governance. The man has a plan, and sometimes tough love is necessary for real change. Let’s give him time to implement his strategies. After all, Rome wasn’t built in a day!

Dele Momodu should recognize that leadership isn't always about yielding to every demand. Tinubu's track record speaks volumes; he’s always focused on long-term solutions. The strength of his governance approach has proven effective in Lagos, and we can trust he’ll navigate these challenges with the same resolve. Patience is key.
