Seriously, i hate it when this freaking morrons ask God to help them in situations like this. God does not distribute Ak47s. God does not even fight for Israel against hezbolla and al qaeda. God doesnt fight, he blesses. Fight your own war. If muhammed support his people to kill others, then Jesus should do the same. What is the essense of telling us to turn the other cheek to be slapped when the slapper will come the next day to slap us again.
I think the Christian missionaries who came here in the south to convert us were sent by muslims to hold us hostage mentally so that they can easily kill us without retalliation.
I wish i can just rule this country for one week.

PoliticsSouth Africa Must Fight Xenophobia by White007(op): 6:52pm On Mar 09, 2012
THE history of diplomatic relations between Nigeria and South Africa (post-apartheid) has never been easy. Last week, the wobbly relationship was dragged further to the edge when South Africa deported 125 Nigerian passengers who had arrived in the country but were denied entry by South Africa's immigration officials on the quaint excuse that the passengers did not possess valid yellow fever vaccination cards. Stung by that decision, the Federal Government retaliated on Monday this week by deporting 28 South Africans. The essence of the prompt reprisal, it seemed, was to convey a blunt message to South Africa that it does not have an exclusive right over the way it humiliates citizens of other countries.

The Federal Government's strategy seemed to have worked effectively because by the middle of this week, South African authorities were already talking in softer tone about resolving the diplomatic mess caused by their immigration officers in an agreeable manner. This goes to show that sometimes, it is necessary to apply the Mosaic Law of an eye for an eye in order to advance international relations.

When he appeared before the Senate on Tuesday (March 6, 2012), Foreign Affairs Minister Olugbenga Ashiru spoke in no uncertain terms about Nigeria's readiness to match South Africa's stubbornness measure for measure or, if you like, to engage them eyeball to eyeball. In a voice that exposed the degree of his anger over South Africa's belligerent action, Ashiru said: "I find the action as totally unfriendly and un-African. You don't treat fellow Africans that way and we will not leave any stone unturned to get to the bottom of the matter. They should know that they do not have monopoly of deporting travellers and if we feel that the action against our nationals was discriminatory, we will take action to reciprocate and there are various ways of reciprocating."

It is reassuring to see a senior government official defending the rights of Nigerian citizens to fair treatment by other countries. Over the years, Nigeria has had a bad record of standing up against countries that treat her citizens unfairly. Indeed, Nigerian diplomats have been accused of failing to protect the interests of their citizens in foreign countries. Of course, this does not include representing the interests of citizens who have clearly committed a crime in the countries in which they reside. All this seemed to have changed last week when South African immigration officials refused to recognise yellow fever vaccination cards presented by Nigerians who arrived in that country, even though some of the passengers claimed they had entered South Africa on previous occasions with the same documents. Now South Africa has been placed on notice that any callous treatment of Nigerians in future will not go unpunished.

The Federal Government and the National Assembly members were clearly embarrassed and baffled by arguments advanced by South Africa's immigration and Port Health officials who said they did not recognise the yellow fever vaccination cards from Nigeria because, wait for it, they were mostly counterfeits. While Nigeria might have an image problem across the world, while many Nigerians might be involved in criminal activities worldwide, it does not imply that everything and everybody from Nigeria must be fake. While there might be a racket on yellow fever vaccination cards in some issuing centres in Nigeria, this should not be interpreted to mean that every card is fake.

The South African authorities must admit they mishandled this matter that could have been dealt with diplomatically and politely without the need for the two countries to engage in a tit-for-tat. If South Africa's immigration remains rigid and refuses to recognise yellow fever vaccination cards issued in Nigeria, a simple alternative could be for Nigeria to request all South African passport holders to show valid yellow fever vaccination cards before they are allowed entry into Nigeria. This would be seen as retaliatory but if it would help to end the discriminatory practices by South Africa's immigration officials, so be it.

When The Guardian (Monday, March 5, 2012) enquired from Foreign Affairs Minister Olugbenga Ashiru about what action the government would take in response to South Africa's deportation of Nigerians on Thursday last week ( March 1, 2012), the response was robust but measured. Ashiru told The Guardian: "This is unacceptable. It is quite unfortunate. This is an affront to diplomatic norms. The South African immigration officials do not have a monopoly of maltreating other nationals." The minister said further: "I have directed our mission and the consulate in Johannesburg to launch a first recourse protest. This is strongly worded. Nigeria would get to the root of the matter. We are meeting with the South African authorities on Monday, after which we will take the appropriate action. Nigeria will not stand by and watch Nigerians treated that way. We will take a firm and mature stand on the matter, "

It is somewhat extreme for a country to deport international visitors on the ground that the visitors did not possess valid yellow fever vaccination cards. It is irresponsible. It is inconsiderate. It is harsh. Such a decision failed to take into account the genuine that some passengers had valid yellow fever vaccination cards. You cannot visit on all passengers the sins of a few. Of course, South Africa can claim that passengers are required to be vaccinated at least 10 days prior to arriving in the country but still, some of the deported passengers had valid cards.

Obviously incensed by the action of South African immigration officials, Ashiru said: "We are amazed by the insistence of South Africa on yellow cards before Nigerians can enter that country when Nigeria does not have a yellow fever epidemic. How can some people sit somewhere and say that a card issued by another sovereign country is fake?, We shall also be demanding yellow cards from their nationals in reciprocity, We have made it clear that fair treatment of Nigerians is now a major foreign policy drive by our government. But they (South Africa) do not have monopoly of making life difficult for others."

It's gratifying to note that "fair treatment of Nigerians" will become the basis on which Nigeria relates with other countries. This is long overdue. The overbearing behaviour by South African immigration officials seems to have violated international conventions for dealing with this kind of situation. The usual practice, even in a country such as Thailand where non-possession of international yellow fever vaccination card is viewed as a major oversight, is to vaccinate the visitor right at the airport and allow them entry into the country, as long as they have other valid travel documents. But the South African authorities seem to operate on a different platform guided by their laws and regulations that allow immigration officials to make arbitrary decisions about when visitors should be denied entry into their country.

The Minister's reference to South African immigration officials and their record of abusing citizens of other countries is based on historical facts. There is a history of excessive abuses by South African authorities of Nigerian citizens visiting or residing in South Africa. In 2005, Nobel Laureate Wole Soyinka was denied entry into South Africa by immigration officials despite having been invited officially to speak as a guest at a lecture organised to mark former President Nelson Mandela's birthday. Anyone with Soyinka's pedigree would be rightly outraged to be denied entry into a country in which he was officially invited after being delayed for over eight hours at the airport. That was the indignity the South African immigration officials heaped on Soyinka before the gridlock was untangled.

As further evidence of South Africa's excessive maltreatment of Nigerian citizens, in 2001, the then Aviation Minister Kema Chikwe was detained by South Africa's Port Health and denied entry into the country on the ground that she did not possess a valid vaccination card. When the authorities persisted that the minister must be inoculated or denied entry into South Africa, the minister told them to go and jump into the river. She maintained her stand and let the authorities know the choice before them was to let her enter the country or she would go back to Nigeria. The matter was eventually resolved.

Nigeria does not deserve to be humiliated by South Africa or indeed any African country. In the 1970s and 1980s, Nigeria led an international campaign against the apartheid government of South Africa. Nigeria invested human and financial resources to fight apartheid in South Africa. Some Nigerian soldiers and civil society activists lost their lives in defence of the rights of Black South Africans to be treated equally as their white counterparts. It seems South African authorities have forgotten so quickly and conveniently the noble role that Nigeria played at the time.

One reason to worry over the maltreatment of Nigerians in South Africa is that it could be an extension of the high level of xenophobia in that country. It is no secret that Nigerians are hated and targeted by official and unofficial groups in South Africa. In fact, on a scale of detestation of foreigners in South Africa, Nigerians rank second only to Zimbabweans. Intolerance of foreigners is widespread in South Africa. Unfortunately, such intense dislike of foreigners is driven by the misleading impression that foreigners are taking over the jobs that South Africans ought to perform.

In South Africa, there is a common term used to describe black African foreigners. It is Amakwerekwere. This term pejoratively and connotatively means "foreigners are taking our jobs". It is a synonym for xenophobia. South Africa must learn to deal forcefully with the challenges that confront it in its post-apartheid relationship with other African countries.

PoliticsNorthern Govs Demand Allocation Formula Review by White007(op): 10:30pm On Feb 27, 2012
Governors from the 19 northern states on Thursday called for a review of the revenue allocation formula “to reflect current realities.”

Chairman of the Northern Governors' Forum, and Governor of Niger State, Dr. Babangida Aliyu, said this in Abuja while inaugurating the Advisory Council of Sir Ahmadu Bello Memorial Foundation.

Aliyu described as unfair, a situation where a state like Niger got between N4.2bn and N4.5bn as monthly allocation while some other states received 20 times the amount.

The governor said Niger State spend half of its monthly allocation on payment of salaries and other overheads. This, according to him, leaves the state with barely enough to provide infrastructure and other needs of the people.

The governor said he and other governors of the region hoped that the revenue allocation would be reviewed before the end of the year.

He said, “The revenue allocation formula should be looked at. We are hoping that within 2012, there would be discussions and review of the allocation formula.

“But there are other issues that would come. For example, there were oil wells that were over 200 kilometres away of the shore of the country. Those ones before the passage of law by the National Assembly were supposed to be oil wells for the whole country.

“But now, they have been made to be given only to the contiguous states in addition to the 13 per cent derivation. So, if you look at that, you will say that it will not serve everybody well if certain parts of the country are not doing well while some parts are doing exceptionally well. So, the pressure will continue until we are able to find a solution.”

The governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Alhaji Lamido Sanusi, had in an interview with The Financial Times of London last month, decried what he termed the low allocation to Northern states from the Federation Account.

Sanusi had linked violence in the North, particularly the activities of the violent Islamic sect, Boko Haram, to the uneven distribution of the country's wealth. He had said that attempts to redress historic grievances in Nigeria's oil-rich south might have inadvertently helped create the conditions for the sect's insurgency.

Sanus, said that it was necessary to focus funds on regenerating other regions if Nigeria wanted to secure long-term stability.

He said, “When you look at the figures and look at the size of the population in the North, you can see that there is a structural imbalance of enormous proportions. Those states simply do not have enough money to meet basic needs while some states have too much money.

“The imbalance is so stark because the state still depends on oil for more than 80 per cent of its revenues.”

Currently, the revenue allocation formula is 52.68 for the Federal Government, 26.72 per cent for states and 20.6 per cent for council areas.

Thirteen per cent is also given to the oil-producing states as derivation.

The 13 per cent derivation was introduced in 1999 as part of measures aimed at redressing the long time grievances of oil-producing states of the Niger Delta.

Official figures from the government show that oil producing Rivers State received N1,053bn between 1999 and 2008 from the federal allocation.

However, two states in the North-East – Yobe and Borno – received N388bn within the same period.

Oil has been the main stay of the country's economy since 1958 when itwas discovered in commercial quantity.

PoliticsEminent Nigerians Honour Odumegwu-ojukwu. Say 'he Never Fought Against Nigeria' by White007(op): 10:15pm On Feb 27, 2012
'He never fought against Nigeria'

THEY came in superlative terms.  They were all comments used to qualify the late Biafran leader, Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu-Ojukwu, as a man whose courage, excellence, patriotism and selfless service were beyond compare.

The event was at the Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS), Lagos and it was organised by the Lagos State government in conjunction with Igbo in Lagos as part of the funeral activities for Odumegwu-Ojukwu.

The roll call of eminent personalities at the event chaired by renowned lawyer, Dr. Tunji Braithwaite included Governor of Lagos State, Babatunde Fashola, his predecessor, Bola Tinubu, former governor of Ekiti State, Niyi Adebayo, governor of Imo State, Chief Rochas Okorocha, governor of Anambra State, Mr. Peter Obi, former Secretary-General of the Commonwealth, Chief Emeka Anyaoku, Oko monarch and professor of music, Laz Ekwueme and professor of political economy, Pat Utomi.

Others were Admiral Ndubuisi Kanu (rtd), former Chief of General Staff,  Commodore Ebitu Ukiwe (rtd), distinguished economist, Dr. Kalu Idika Kalu, Prof. Anya O. Anya, Senator Uche Chukwumerije, Special Adviser to the President on Inter-party Affairs, Senator Ben Obi, Prof. A.B.C. Nwosu, a member of the Odumegwu-Ojukwu Burial Central Committee, Chief Martins Agbaso, Ambassador Musiliu Obanikoro, Gen. Adeyinka Adebayo (rtd), Lagos State Commissioner for Budget and Economic Planning, Mr. Ben Akabueze, former President General, Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Prof. Joe Irukwu, Eze Ndigbo Lagos, Eze Raphael Ohazuluike and Chief Christopher Eze.

The list included the former Chairman of Diamond Bank, Chief Pascal Dozie, Publicity Secretary of the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN), Joe Igbokwe, the Chief Executive Officer of Chisco Transport Ltd., Chief Chidi Anyaegbu, Senator Chris Ngige and Chief Ogola Osoka.

The venue was highly secured by a combined team of security agencies who freaked people coming in from one of the main-gates opened for pedestrians.

Inside the venue, combat-ready men of the State Security Services, searched those with bags.

The performances of Igbo war songs by Igbo troupes, cadets of Kings College, an orchestra-like musical rendition led by Prof. Ekwueme who also did the National Anthem added colour to the event. Odumegwu-Ojukwu was an alumnus of Kings College.

The ceremony, compered by the trio of Bisi Olatilo, Emeka Obasi and Paddy Njoku could easily pass as a carnival of cultural displays as various cluster groups, decked in beautiful traditional regalia helped to electrify the event.            .

Extolling the virtues of Odumegwu-Ojukwu, Braithwaite noted that some people erroneously alleged that Odumegwu-Ojukwu waged a war against his fatherland. He said that what Odumegwu-Ojukwu rather did was to declare war against injustice, corruption, deception and lies, adding that what he did would have received wider international blessings if it were to be now.

He said: "What Emeka did, had it been now that the dynamics of international politics have changed, it would have stayed."

Braithwaite warned that unless a national conference was convened to allow Nigerians discuss the basis of their co-existence, prophecies of doom made about Nigeria might be fulfilled. He maintained that the members of the National Assembly on their own could not generate a people's constitution because they (National Assembly) were the product of the defective constitution. He described Odumegwu-Ojukwu as a great man who loved his fatherland.

The host governor, Fashola, went through the nation's war history and ended up eulogising the contributions made by Odumegwu-Ojukwu.

Fashola asserted that never again would there be war in Nigeria. "I say never again to war in Nigeria. Never again! My faith in the future of Nigeria remains enforced by the conviction that myself and my cousin, Ganiyu Okafor will never be separated," he insisted.

Fashola said he would tell the next generation all he believed that Odumegwu-Ojukwu represented.   According to him, the late Biafran leader should be celebrated. His words: "I will tell the next generation that Ojukwu was a man whose courage and sacrifice are worthy of emulation. He had deep love for his people. He was one of the greatest Nigerians who insisted on true federalism. He was resilient, resourceful and committed to his people.

"He was an Iroko who stood tall above all. He believed in peace, unity, justice and freedom. He had courage and doggedness when he challenged the government of Lagos State. I will also tell the next generation that he was an author because he was involved."

Chukwumerije described the event as a home coming for Odumegwu-Ojukwu who was raised in Lagos. He expressed joy that the love  Odumegwu-Ojukwu had for Lagos was being reciprocated, stressing that he was a patriot whose personal life mirrored the life of Nigeria.

For the national leader of the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, Odumegwu-Ojukwu was a powerful man worth celebrating. "He was a man very powerful in his generation. A great soldier and great thinker.  He enmeshed himself in the service of his people. He served his country in the military after graduating from one of the best universities in the world - Oxford. Highly intelligent, no Nigerian has altered the history of our nationhood as Ojukwu aside Awolowo, Zik and the like.

"He forwent the riches of his family and chose the patriotic lane. His voice was never drawn on issues that concerned him. He never compromised and for the sake of his people, Eze Igbo Gburugburu entered into politics instead of business."

Adebayo described the Biafran leader as a good, hardworking and loyal officer.              .

Nwachukwu said Odumegwu-Ojukwu was against injustice and showed great courage.

Speaking in the same direction, Utomi charged the spirit of Odumegwu-Ojukwu to rise and fight injustice in Nigeria, adding that he was a great man.

"Ojukwu spoke out. The issues that threw him up as the leader of Igbos are still very much with us", said Dozie.

In his own tribute, the national Chairman of the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA), Chief Victor Umeh described Odumegwu-Ojukwu as a colossus who did so much for his people and Nigeria.

Okorocha whose presence elicited cheers from the crowd just as Tinubu, stated that the late icon was not dead but alive because he died a hero, adding that he did not exit without leaving a legacy.

Other speakers included Obi, Anyaegbu, Agbaso, leaders of other ethnic nationalities such as the Hausa community, Igbira and the Niger Delta.

Besides, the wife of the President, Dame Patience Jonathan will lead a team of government officials to a grand funeral rally in honour of Odumegwu-Ojukwu.

The rally which is part of the funeral arrangements being put together by the Abuja chapter of the local organising committee for the burial of the late Igbo leader will also have in attendance, Speaker of the House of Representatives, Aminu Tambuwal, Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu, Deputy Speaker Emeka Ihedioha as well as serving ministers and government officials.

Disclosing this yesterday while briefing the press on the activities lined up in Abuja as burial rites of Odumegwu-Ojukwu, the chairman of the Abuja local organising committee, Nwabueze Obi said that the rally which would begin in the afternoon at the old parade ground in Abuja would be preceded by a procession of Igbo youths and friends in some selected streets of the Federal Capital Territory.

PoliticsDid Cbn Governor, Sanusi Lamido Meet With Osama Bin Laden In The Sudan? by White007(op): 8:33am On Feb 15, 2012
Did CBN Governor, Sanusi Lamido Meet With Osama Bin Laden in the Sudan?, His Link With Elrufai

There are fears in some quarters that Malam Sanusi Lamido Sanusi may have been radicalized during the time he spent as a student in the Sudan.

Malam Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, was in the Sudan between 1991 and 1997 where he was a student at the International University of Africa, Khartoum, Sudan. Coincidentally, this was around the same time that Osama Bin Laden lived in Khartoum, Sudan. Osama Bin Laden lived in Sudan between 1992 and 1996. He left the Sudan in May of 1996.

Being that Malam Sanusi Lamido Sanusi is an aristocrat and the grandson of the renowned Emir of Kano and Islamic Scholar, Alhaji Muhammadu Sanusi, he was well received in Khartoum and there are claims from a prominent Nigerian who has served at the highest level that during his stay in Sudan, Malam Sanusi Lamido Sanusi met with both Osama Bin Laden (a fellow aristocrat from a lineage that had Islamic scholars) and Dr. Hassan 'Abd Allah al-Turabi, who was Speaker of the Sudanese National Assembly and a then ally of Sudanese President, Omar al-Bashir.

Recent utterances from Malam Sanusi Lamido have brought up the possibility that he might have been radicalized during his stay in the Sudan. The people and government of Sudan heavily dominated by people from the North had operated under the principle that the people of Southern Sudan are people of a lower culture and had in recent times shut them out of power and unleashed the dreaded supporter of APC militia (a fore runner of Boko Haram?) on them.

In an article he wrote in 1999 and entitled "Issues in Restructuring Corporate Nigeria" he had made comments to the effect that he considered some of the cultures that exists in certain parts of Nigeria to be lower cultures.

Similar views were expressed again by the CBN Governor this time on the international stage. He had told the Financial Times of London that attempts to redress the despoliation of the Niger Delta via the policy on derivation are in large part to blame for the rise of the Boko Haram insurgency and stated that funds must be redistributed more equitably and taking into consideration the huge population of certain parts of the country.

These, fears take on another dimension with the strong tilt that Malam Sanusi has towards things pertaining to the North and the dominant religion of Islam there. For instance, many Nigerians were disturbed by the way and manner he prosecuted the introduction of Islamic banking. It may be remembered that Sanusi used words that were perhaps not too diplomatic against the leadership of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) which caused Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor to at different occasions warn the nation that Sanusi Lamido Sanusi was also a Muslim cleric and might have allowed his faith becloud his judgment on the issue of Shari'a and Islamic banking.

Meanwhile, NaijaPundit investigations have revealed that the reason why CBN governor Sanusi Lamido Sanusi has in recent times began to take a pro Nasir Elrufai public posture may not be unconnected to the marriage scheduled between the CBN Governor and the sister to Malam Nasir Elrufai's second wife.

Malam Elrufai is married to three wives and the sister of the second of them is affianced to Sanusi Lamido Sanusi and the marriage is to be contracted soon.

Many Nigerians where puzzled when Malam Sanusi Lamido Sanusi wrote what may be termed as a public love letter on the controversial former minister during the heat of the fuel subsidy debate last January.

Sanusi had written the letter in response to Former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode's own letter. Given that Malam Elrufai is one of the bitterest critics of the present administration, many Nigetians wondered why Malam Sanusi would go all out to defend him so publicly.

NaijaPundit also brings you the letter Malam Sanusi's wrote on Malam
Elrufai below;

I have one request to make and Allah is my helper. Any attack on Nasir el Rufai or on Nuhu Ribadu is an attack on me. Nasir is to my mind is one of the greatest and most patriotic Nigerians to have served in public office and he is by far the best FCT minister we have ever had. Like all of us he is not perfect.

In my AIT interview I said I agreed with 90% of what he said a day before our interview and the two bits I didn’t agree with I stated: I don’t agree that there is no subsidy and I believe Nasir was quoting contributions from tHrusted experts which have been flying around recently including Prof Tam David West.

And we have debated this issue of accounting and economic concepts in this forum. I also do not agree that it is easy in the short-term to have massive fiscal retrenchment without a huge political backlash-indeed the fuel subsidy is one such case and retrenchment for instance would also bring people out.

But Nasir is one person for whom I have always had the highest level of personal respect. His integrity is beyond reproach-of course, people will say anything but after years of trying no one is yet able to show any evidence backing up allegations. Intellectually, I am yet to know anyone who can match him and this has been the case since the 1970s. Femi Fani-Kayode has written in Nasir’s defence but these are not Nasir’s words and if you knew Femi well you would not be surprised or bothered by his peculiar choice of language. I have seen Femi transit from a rabid ethnic chauvinist and christian fanatic who thought Obasanjo was a stooge of the backward Muslim north, to a minister in Obasanjo’s cabinet preaching national unity, and now to some freelance activist and public commentator.

This is just a stage he is going through but I like to think he means well. When AIT requested me to speak they never said it was to respond to Nasir and when we started and they played their clip we told them we didn’t want to personalise this. Nasir and I were friends and brothers as teenagers. We have remained friends and brothers and will remain
friends after office.

We don’t have to agree 100%. He also understands that so long as I am in government I have 100% loyalty to the president. If I feel I cannot be loyal I should step down. This does not mean supporting every policy but it means standing up to play my part in doing what is good for the economy.
I, therefore, request please that no one defending me should attack his person. And only those who don’t know Nasir will even think I am his intellectual match- he is just exceptional in his brilliance.

Water boarding is a good tool to make those arrested start talking.

Water Boarding: The prisoner is bound to an inclined board, feet raised and head slightly below the feet. Cellophane is wrapped over the prisoner's face and water is poured over him. Unavoidably, the gag reflex kicks in and a terrifying fear of drowning leads to almost instant pleas to bring the treatment to a halt.

CIA officers who subjected themselves to the water boarding technique lasted an average of 14 seconds before caving in. They said al Qaeda's toughest prisoner, Khalid Sheik Mohammed, won the admiration of interrogators when he was able to last between two and two-and-a-half minutes before begging to confess.

If this harsh interrogation method is handed out to the BH idiots, it will get them talking in no time.

Yeah a man that can't get a job, and who's biggest ambition is life is to be a love-vendor or Drug Kingpin is oh so sexy, . sounds like a bunch of "hatin'" on succesful, intelligent whites. . . yes most exectivies are white, and yes some have to file for protections or go out of business, corps to fail. . . .welcome to CAPITALISM
Not hatin' on intelligent whites (esp. women) or even wealthy white men, just thinking about how this country has set everyone up -- including you -- into thinking that CAPITALISM works on every level all of the time, Then people look at their 401k that they relied on for retirement that has dwindled because these so-called 'intelligent' wealthy white men who they trusted with their senior years inflated the success of their stock portfolios, had to come clean, now they are gone to severance pay heaven of gated communities and Florida beaches. It's good being a wealthy white male.

Yes, they expect us to respect them. The wealthy white men file bankrupt but still live high on the hog. Everybody else files bankrupt and they have to wait 7 years to get their credit and life back. Boy, wealthy white men truly have it made!

The only thing most black men have more than wealthy white men is sex appeal.

^^^Kudos to Asians! I love their work ethic! Whites can learn from them too. What I don't like is wealthy white men from the U.S. who send the jobs they create overseas then turn around and tell those who can't find a job in the U.S. that they need to find one! Then have the nerve to ask po' folks to buy their "Made In China" products. And we're supposed to respect them.

you know. . . . atleast the slave worked for their room and board back then. . . . now the black just want room and board for no work. . . .
That's another reason why it's good to be white/male/wealthy. They can head a company, make NOTHING of the company, get a severence package from the company worth millions and essentially get room and board "for no work" by purchasing a beachfront property with the loot. It's good being white/male/wealthy.

Yeh, lots of hard work was involved. Ask the black slaves who worked the cotton fields for free for over 250 years. They'll tell ya.

Wealthy white men in the U.S. have it made! They dodge being called beneficiaries of Affirmative Action although 99.9% of our presidents were white/male/wealthy. They avoid being called welfare recipients although they get bailouts and severence packages to die for. They can run for president with their ex-mistress by their side with no static while a classy wife and mother in the White House is coined an "Angry Black Woman". It must be good being white, male, and wealthy.

PoliticsI Will Defend Nigeria's Unity With My Blood" - David Mark by White007(op): 4:57pm On Feb 06, 2012
President of the Senate, David Mark, said he would defend, with the last drop of his blood, the unity of the country.

He said that the Senate and the National Assembly would stand firmly and vote for the unity and continued corporate existence of Nigeria, no matter the odds or challenges.

Mark, who stated this in a goodwill message to Muslim faithful on the celebration of Eid-el-Maulud signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Paul Mumeh, urged all Nigerians, especially Muslims and Christians, to unite in prayer for the peace and unity of the nation, “in order to put our detractors to shame.”

The President of the Senate noted: “The current security challenges which has truly tasked and threatened the nation must be decisively confronted”.

“This is no time to sit on the fence and engage in the blame game. The situation has degenerated to an intolerable level leading to the mass movement (exodus) of our people from one end of the country to the other. We must, as a people, rise up and halt this.

“Government at all levels and the security operatives must restore hope and peace that would engender confidence in our people to stop this drift. We have toiled over the years to keep Nigeria one. We cannot afford to slip now”.

Noting the scepticism of most Nigerians over the deregulation policy, Mark said the present administration has demonstrated the political will to implement the market oriented reforms, pointing out that the subsidy re-investment (SURE) programme would be a testimony.

The SURE programme, Mark opined, would reverse in positive term the nation long hobbled by political instability, corruption, inadequate infrastructure and poor macro-economic management.

Said Mark: “The challenge at the moment is to diversify the economy away from its overdependence on the capital intensive oil sector which provides 95 per cent o four foreign exchange earnings and about 80 per cent of budgetary revenues,” He reiterated the resolve of the National Assembly to carefully scrutinise the 2012 appropriation bill before it “so that we can pass an implementable budget and avoid the annual rhetoric of inability to implement.”

After all, I didn’t kill anyone, so there is nothing to hide. I have cleared it times without number.

It’s annoying. People say rubbish, but I have to understand; it’s something I have to deal with. I find it hard because I am

However, Wizkid who was latter re-christened Wizdad by angry fans says though he’s in love but his relationship with other female fans is just cordial. “Yes and they are just friends. But I have someone I am liking.

I have liked her since but she is putting me on a long thing… and it’s because of what people are saying. She is super hot and she has a very good heart.”

It would be recalled that when the news broke out, the Holla at ur boy crooner tweeted ‘Hey All, Got sumthin to tell yall.

I realize that I haven’t always lived up to everyone’s expectations from my loved ones to the immense love from my fans.
I am sorry. Please continue to pray for me. With the help of my family and my EME big brothers, I am working on becoming a better man, a better artiste, a more responsible person with every one of my actions….”
Foreign AffairsAs Israel-iran War Seem Inevitable, What Do We Have? by White007(op): 4:04pm On Feb 06, 2012
(JOHNNY BABYBRAIN) - Last week, United State's Defense Secretary Leon Panetta issued a stunning though expected revelation that its major ally in the Middle East (and arguably in the world) Israel will inevitably strike Iran's nuclear facilities in coming months.

Both Iran and Israel perceive each others as number.1 enemies and have shown no secrecy as regards the level of enmity and hostility between them with various accusations and counter-accusations coupled with varieties of propaganda issued by both countries. Diplomatically speaking, Israel is getting ready for a military intervention to stop Iran from its nuclear programmes, realistically the world is preparing itself for another war in the Middle-east.

The first question is, why is the entire world spearheaded by Israel, United States and the Middle-east frowning at the possibility of a Nuclear Iran? Reasons are not farfetched.

To start with, Iran is not an Arabian country and share no close ties with other Middle-east countries. It does not share the same political, cultural or historical belief with Arab countries except for bitterness and hostility. Iran has been strongly accused of supporting and aiding many terrorist groups as well as aiding opposition groups to cause unrest and topple existing governments in other Middle East countries.

However, the position of Israel on a Nuclear Iran is very straightforward; a Nuclear Iran is seen as a threat to Israel and a danger to the Jewish community. Since the 1979 Islamic Revolution, Iran has failed to recognise the State of Israel and has therefore failed to establish real diplomatic ties with the United States; the world is obvious of this fact (at least in understanding Israel’s position). Furthermore, the Israelis are cultured to believe that anyone who denies the Holocaust as Iran consistently does is an enemy and would not be taken lightly.

Although, Iran has continuously maintained that its nuclear programme is for technological advancement, the West is suspicious of Iran’s attempt to divert the programme into a weapon programme and this Israel has hinted over the years it has no patience for and neither would it risk such emergence; today, an Iranian attack is imminent.

Iran unsurprisingly and as usual is not quiet either; it is threatening an immediate reprisal should Israel and the United States carry out an attack on its soil. Iran has threatened to shut down the Strait of Hormuz where according to the US Energy Information Administration, 35% of all seaborne traded oil and 20% of the world's oil shipments pass through.

Iran currently doesnt seem ready in backing out from its nuclear programmes citing it has spent billions into it and has lost more billions as a result of sanctions the United Nations, US imposed on it. As I speak (ohh as I write?) Iran is reportedly involving its military in drills & exercises in readiness for war, Israel and the US says they've been ready ages ago.

Shocking and scary enough, both countries are headed by faily unpredictable characters and are controlled by deep political hardliners, people who are notorious for carrying out threats they issue; with Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on one hand, Benjamin Netanyahu, Shimon Peres and Ehud Barack on the other.

The world, especially the European economy does not need an Israeli-Iranian conflict at this point in time. Oil prices would surge and an already ailing economy would go back to its crippled start, the Middle-East might never be the same again as a Persian-Arab conflict would only add to the many already established conflict and unrest going on in the Middle-east. Note: For all it may be worth, an unstable Iraq and an unstable Iran is BAD NEWS for the Middle-east and the International community as a whole.

Certain questions come to mind as far as Israel’s threat to attack Iran is concerned. Could these threats be true? Practically, these are not empty threats and are definitely true. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has made it clear during the electoral campaign that brought him to office that he would attack Iran and make Iran quit its nuclear programmes at all cost, with military intervention a no brainer option.

US President, Barack Obama during his 2011 State of the Union address said “Let there be no doubt: America is determined to prevent Iran from getting a nuclear weapon, and I will take no options off the table to achieve that goal”

Similarly, last week when Leon Panetta was asked about the United State’s preparations to stop Iran from furthering its nuclear programmes, he responded “We are not making any special steps at this point in order to deal with the situation. Why? Because frankly we are fully prepared to deal with that situation now."

This is definitely not the first time Israel would attack a country in the Middle-East on the much controversial nuclear programmes. In September 2007, Israel launched an unprecedented attack on a Syrian nuclear reactor and though Syria was muted on the action, the White House and the United States Congress unequivocally supported the action. Today, despite fears and sceptics from quarters in the United States about the consequences of an Israeli attack on Iranian soil, Israel is attempting to go ahead with the attack and yet banking on the United States to support it come-what-may.

It is uncertain the Barack Obama administration would support an Israeli war at this point in time especially when American voters are citing America’s domestic woes to its foreign policies. He could decide to go into the war and see massive supports from the Jewish American community or opt out and yet get turned away by the same Jewish Americans come election day in November. However his entrance into the war could see massive bitterness from .

Speaking to CNN days ago, Former Defense Secretary Robert Gates was sceptical and yet correct, "If Iraq & Afghanistan has taught us anything in recent history, it’s the unpredictability of war and that these things are easier to get into than getting out of." However, the Israelis seem to have been spoilt with a lizard style nodding they get for every action they take in recent times.

If there is one thing I don’t understand about International Politics, it is the question of Monopoly being the brother to hypocrisy and hiding under the umbrella of 'World Policing & Security'. If the United States, Russia, China, Israel (well so we heard) and their ‘super power’ counterparts can have possession of nuclear weapons, why not Iran? Why not South Africa and why not Nigeria?

It’s something else to agree that many countries around the world do not possess the same democratic and perfected governance that the US, Britain and Russia are blessed with, but it’s another thing to deny countries who dimmed it fit to build their own hegemony in the coming years for future generations.

My position on a nuclear world is simple, preach what you practise, we want a nuclear free world or accept the right of others to possess; they fear what you fear and that’s understandable.

Today on Johnny Babybrain, several questions linger. Is it absolutely right in preventing Iran from going nuclear and if so how possible? Are there other motives behind Israel’s attempt to attack Iran besides the ‘nuclear blahblahs’ we are being told? Why would Israel chose to attack Iran at this unpredictable stage of the world’s economy and if it doesn’t at this stage, what potential dangers lie ahead should Iran be allowed to go nuclear?
