People like you will not vote Apc even if Jesus is on the ticket, so keep your opinion to yourself. Of course we don't expect Oritsejafor part of Can to vote anything Apc, since it's the religion arm of pdp, but trust me, most members of Can hate Oritsejafor and will vote Apc. naso2: As a member of RCCG, I will not vote for him because a normal ganbari will not let him work. On electoral value , I don't think CAN will support anything GMB even if he picks the pope as his deputy. |

You are wrong, eastern state brought ebola to nigeria and Lagos was just on their transit route. The person that that brought ebola had no business in Lagos, if anything, Lagos helped to contain it. Next time use your heads and not plan a conference with ebola ridden countries, and bring your problem to Lagos. If there's census right there at the beach 65% will be non lagosian. "Mama I dey go lagos" are mostly living at the beach for survival. Tenim47: Wat could i hav 2 say? wen nigeria stil battlin wit EBOLA as ah huge source of wild animals,. Una stil dey eat. . Dis lagosians na dem dey bring evrytin 2 d remainin state. HIV Was 1st recorded at lag same as EBOLA. na GOD knw wetin dis1 go bring. #Hian . |

I'm not a lawyer either, we are all learning. The closest I would have been was when I was sent a notice to report for a jury duty but, could not do it then cos I was just a permanent resident. The grand jury has to determine if he's fit for trial, trust me, a good attorney would ask to plead insanity first to see if it would stick. And there has to be a trial if anything, and if found guilty then sentecing. It's so complicated. manny4life: I am not a lawyer by profession anyway, so it doesn't make any sense for me trying to argue the law. However, a jury may recommend for sentencing. Besides, I believe that judges follow established sentencing guidelines depending on how the jury convicted the offender. Yes the jury convicted a person, but for instance, a first degree vs second degree murder carry different penalties. So all these play a role in how someone is sentenced. I guess my point is: it all starts out with the jury who determines your sentencing: whether you will be on the death row or not. |

If you can make it in America, you can make it in Nigeria. You need the same drive to make it every where, maybe a little bit more at home cos of infrastructure. Anyone who tells you that america is all dandy has not come out the cage the white man put him/her in. The moment you say to yourself, this is "the land of the free" and try to reach for the sky, you will be quickly reminded that you are not an american or an "all american" as they use to discriminate against those who could pass for whites or trying to be. allcomage: For an immigrant,America is not paved with gold but with tears, sweat, regrets and blood.the pressure is so enormous that people usually break down with out any known sickness. My wife used to be crazy about and visa lottery.I was never interested because am one of those who like to live in Nigeria.then an opportunity came that she spent a year and six months.Having seen all the seasons of US and what it takes an immigrant to make it there, she cried for weeks to come back. She said it is better to work hard and make it Nigeria than what she saw and observe in US.She was so happy to come home with renewed energy and enthusiasm to succeed and she is making it and being happy. For an adult immigrant,US is a huge slave camp. |

Texas has highest death row we all know that, now tell me every single convicted killer in the state is on death row. Even the man who assasinated kennedy was not put on death row, and I think it happened in Dallas. manny4life: Really? Not fit to stand trial? Okay o
At least MOST murderers are on death row... Texas has the highest death row inmates in the country today. |

I guess we are saying the same thing. My point is doing the right thing alone is not enough. The unwritten laws are more than the written. Even the written laws are manipulated. manny4life: Did you read my post at all? I said "Money may buy you justice depending on who's selling", what part of this statement is hard to figure out? So according to the bold and by you, a black man could after all buy justice i.e. if he has money? So what are we arguing? Everything defaults back to what I am saying: race or not, money may buy you justice depending on who's selling. |

What if found not fit to stand a trial and sent to crazy house? Texas loves death penalties but, can't kill all murderers. babaluckey: Thou shall not kill in Texas else, ye shall be hang there is no papa forgive me or give me a second chance. He's done for life. May her gentle soul rest in peace. |

All the cases going on have absolutely nothing to do with anything. If you don't know that money gives you power and Justice in america or you don't know that you as a black man will be bitched if you don't have money, then you haven't arrived in the real america. manny4life: As much as the U.S. Justice System has failed us, this case is a little different. Money may buy you justice, depending on who's selling but I don't think color can buy you justice. Please don't reference the civil cases currently going on at the moment. |

Crime › Re: Nigerian Woman Allegedly Murdered By Husband In Houston, Texas ( Photos ) by whitecat2: 7:39pm On Dec 10, 2014 |
The worst part is, she will not get Justice like a typical american would. There will be no presure on the justice system for her because of her skin and now double whammy for being a Nigerian, not to talk of if she's poor, the most is a slap on the wrist. May her family be comforted. |

Early Life Roye was born into a prosperous African American family in Newark, Ohio. Roye was a descendant of the Igbo people. His father, John Roye, managed a ferry across the Wabash River at Terre Haute, Indiana and acquired considerable land in Terre Haute as well as Vandalia in the neighboring state of Illinois. As a result of the family's financial standing, young Edward was able to attend Ohio University in neighboring Athens, Ohio. In 1836, upon the premature death of his father, Roye relocated to Terre Haute where he established the community's largest barber shop, boasting a 79-foot (24 m) high barber pole, "the tallest in western Indiana"..... |
