Jafsent30: First thing first THANK YOU GOD FOR MAKING IT POSSIBLE Now i know I've analyse the games very well but still i prayed 🙏 🤲 and I'm happy with the results Oilers have disappointed me tbh cause they could've score atleast 5 goals at home and the away have b2b fatigue from recent matches and travelling I was going to pick over 4.5 for it but i decide to go with the handicap cause it has higher odds and they awarded us with a refund 🤔 😕 😐 😒 The winnings would've reached 300k plus but still I'm thankful Starting the year strong Congrats |
Travel › Re: Challenges Nigerians Face When Getting Official Documents While Living Abroad by WhiteIverson: 7:45pm On Jan 10 |
cupcrack: Thanks for the contributions, everyone.
@Shikena and @MemoriesAndMe really highlighted the core issue: Once you are abroad, you need a trusted pair of legs on the ground, but trust is hard to find.
I actually started this thread because I’ve been working on a solution for this exact 'Diaspora Trap'. I got tired of hearing stories about people sending money home for documents and getting nothing but excuses.
I’d like to introduce the community to Docs by Proxy ( https://www.docsbyproxy.com ).
How it solves the problems mentioned here:
For the 'Trust' Issue: We built an Escrow System. You fund the request, but the agent/proxy does not get paid until they upload the watermarked proof that the job is done. Your money is safe.
For the 'School-to-School' Issue: Our proxies can physically go to universities/ministries to process transcripts and ensure they are mailed directly to WES/Institutions as required.
For the 'Already Abroad' crowd: You don't need to beg uncle/aunty. You just post the job, get bids, and hire a verified proxy.
We are currently in Beta and I specifically wanted to share it with the Nairaland family first to get honest feedback.
Does this sound like something that would solve the headache for you guys? Critiques are welcome! The issue of paying the proxy. You know how Nigerian system is rife with bribery and corruption. In a case where the proxy has to grease some palms, will the proxy do that from his own pockets? How about transportation costs, accommodation costs in a situation where the job is to be done in a faraway location, feeding, e.t.c. As you said, he/she won't be paid until job is done |

meobizy: He’s not a serious human being. He’s a mere multimillionaire and not a billionaire. His wealth can dry up one day. He may even be a scammer looking to have some fun before kicking the bucket.
One thing is for sure, his preference is Caucasian. Indians, Mongoloids, Negros and Native Americans don’t stand a chance. The age preference of “at least twenty years younger” is deceptively vague. He may end up picking a fifty-nine year old, saying “she’s young, but she understands my struggle.”
This is one of the few situations where I will tell a man to mould his female partner. Everybody has their struggle in life. His is not that important. Men do not care regarding a woman’s status. Since he’s made that the focal point, he should enjoy his wealth in peace. Can a 59 year old woman birth kids? |

Sapiosexuality: He doesn't display this sort of arrogance in his respective clubs in Europe. He has never asked to be substituted or insulted his coach like he did to Finidi in Europe. Whenever he comes back home he forgets how to tame himself or maybe he doesn't respect his countrymen as much as he respects the other people he plays for. He knows he is currently the biggest name in the super eagles squad, that's why he likes misbehaving. It pisses me off too. Have you seen Bruno Fernandes with the Portugal national team? Man is very humble because big names are there too. But at Man Utd, the guy is just so arrogant because he knows he's the top player there. |

SirElaw: Abegi. With Lookman’s current form, we don’t need Oshimen with that his gutter attitude. If you think we can win this AFCON without Osimhen, then you need to wake up. Yes he has an attitude issue he needs to work on. Someone that is currently among the top 10 active strikers in the world |
