I visited Nigeria after 2.5 years abroad and was shocked at what inflation had done to property prices. Kind of like a double-edged sword.

I'd bought a plot in a government estate about 8 years ago for N650,000. The government recently began revoking undeveloped plots and building new structures on them. A 3-bed bungalow there, now sells for N80m.

Real estate investment in Nigeria has gone bonkers I tell you. Not that I'm complaining though.

We should never get to the point where we let machines have the final say on crucial matters, machines should always obey the human, not replace the human. No human would want a world like in the Terminator where "Skynet" is in total, absolute control and even out to eliminate humans who created it.

Who ever controls this AI, has a lot of power on their hands, look around you who controls them?

Lol that's why I said a thousand years from now. Future generations would become more and more dependent on AI and trust them more than their fellow humans.

True talk. For example I have not really cooked since 2006 and I eat daily. Some people can cook but won't cook especially bachelors especially if you have acquired a taste for Mama Put or Beer Parlour food and you work long hours at home. The last thing on your mind after cracking your head to beat a deliverable code deadline at work is to cook and you just order comfort food online.

Even today I've already ordered Fish Peppersoup which I have washed down with a bottle of palm wine and the Edikaikong with goat intestines is still waiting in the kitchen as back up together with the Ofada Rice, Stew, Fish and meat I ordered but didn't eat yesterday apart from the fresh fish plus stew (2 plates) remaining from last weeks order and the untouched whole charcoal grilled Croaker fish from my 10pm to 2am ogogoro drinking session I had at Le Joint on Old Kent Road on Monday.

Some of us bachelors are just takeaway junkies so that woman is killing it to the bank because from all indications, her food is good and the recommendations from satisfied customers all over social media is enough to drive new customers to her.

It reminds me of Equal Right at Shipeolu in Palmgrove, Lagos or White House Buka at Sabo, Yaba, Lagos which used to be my Amala, Gbegiri and Ewedu plus Goat meat haunts years ago.

Food business if done right is a money spinner because there are enough bachelors (old and young) wey no dey cook worldwide and are willing to pay a premium for good food.
