The management of The Polytechnic Ibadan has announced Monday January 15 as its resumption date for the 2017/2018 academic session.

This was made known in a statement signed by the Registrar of the institution, Mr. H.A. Fehintola, a copy of which was sent to DAILY POST on Saturday by the Public Relations Officer of the institution, Alhaji Soladoye Adewole.

The statement titled “The Polytechnic, Ibadan re-opens for 2017/2018 academic session”, instructed candidates who had been offered admission in the institution to log on to its site and effect payment of acceptance fee, beginning from Monday, 8th January, 2018.

The statement added “The Polytechnic, Ibadan will on Monday, 15th January, 2018 re-open for the 2017/2018 Academic Session”.

It stated that “Candidates who had been offered admission should log on to: admission.polyibadan.edu.ng and effect payment of acceptance fee, beginning from Monday, 8th January, 2018.

“Returning students are also required to log on to the Institution’s Website: www.polyibadan.edu.ng* for details on registration and other activities”.

The statement added that academic activities will commence on Monday 15th January 2018 for both new and old students

Polyibadan releases OND & HND Dpp 2nd admission list. kindly log in to check your admission status.

Congratulations to all our registered candidates who made the list.

HND & OND DPP registration is still ongoing.

Payment of acceptance fee is still available.

For those waiting for 2nd list of full time admission, Prepare to write 2018 jamb & also wait till June when another HND full time form will be out because it is a matter of 50:50.

@wuminity, how sure are you? what about those who passed cutting off mark? whereby they weren't given admission during realease of first batch, and they promised to release it during the second batch...

waiting for 2nd batch is just like waiting for Jesus Christ second coming. If you couldn't find your name on the merit list and you met with your departmental cut off mark, then something is wrong somewhere you ain't cognisant of which is late already for legal means of securing admission.

My advice is to sought for an alternative or re-enroll this year again. Second batch is a matter of Probability 1/2. It is always Merit list & DPP lists.

biometrics registration is not as urgent as Acceptance fee. Pay ontime to avoid forfeit of Admission or Admission swap. You can do biometrics when you come for your clearance wen d sch resumes.

Many find it hard to understand who can obtain OND DPP form, It is not compulsory you choose Ibadanpoly during your jamb registration, once you have 150 & above as the stipulated uniformed cut off mark of the institution, You are free to obtain TPI, OND DPP form.

Dpp application forms is of two, New Applicants & Existing Applicants.

New applicants are those who really want to apply Newly as DPP applicants
While Existing applicants are those who didn't meet their respective departmental cut off marks and decided to obtain DPP APPLICATION FORM as an alternative which is the best decision.

For all those that didn't meet their respective cut off marks, Pls relax, There is still a chance for you to revive your spirit of gaining admission this year, *EXISTING DPP APPLICATION FORM FOR OND APPLICANT IS ALREADY OUT*.

The program is 2years, as also full time program.

DPP students also receive lectures daily with the full time students .

DPP students also go for Industrial training , just like full time students.

The difference is The
body in charge of DPP program is a separate entity under the school management.

IF APC is not the answer to our Problems, there is no reason going back to the instigators of the problem. I'm not a politician but I would do everything not to have PDP in Government in Nigeria.
