*Says Makinde's Electoral Failure Imminent *To Flag-off Campaign Saturday The Oyedele Hakeem Alao Campaign Organisation has dismissed the purported endorsement of Seyi Makinde by some renegades within the party as hoax and ineffective. In a statement issued in Ibadan by the Director General, Oyedele Hakeem Alao Campaign Organisation, Hon. (Barr.) Tajudeen Ademola Adeniji, the AD candidate describe all the vituperation of Chief Akin Alamu and his co-conspirators on a radio program in Ibadan as blatant lies. While featuring on a popular radio program in Ibadan, Chief Alamu had accused the Gubernatorial Candidate of Alliance for Democracy (AD) in the forthcoming 2019 governorship election in Oyo State, Engr. Oyedele Hakeem Alao of unseriousness and inaccessible. He said Engr. Alao has not been reachable for the past few months. In a swift reaction, Adeniji described Alamu's action as anti-party and worthy of disciplinary action by the National Leadership of the party. "To set the record straight, the declaration by Chief Alamu is not surprising. This is a man, in connivance with some other elements within the party have been hobnobbing with Seyi Makinde. Their declaration only made their anti-party activities obvious. " "This is a man who has never believed that AD as a party can win elections. He and others have been mounting persistent pressure on Engr. Alao to support Makinde immediately after the primaries." On the allegation of handpicking a Deputy Governorship Candidate, that is another lie to perfect their animosity. " Immediately after the primaries, Engr. Alao approached the party Executives, including Chief Alamu that he will prefer a woman as Deputy and must come from Ogbomoso. It was Chief Alamu in consultation with party leaders from Ogbomoso that presented a Deputy Governorship Candidate and as a loyal party man, Engr. Alao adopted her without any hesitation. " " Engr. Alao, however, described Makinde as a 'money miss road' political novice who can do anything to achieve his undeserved ambition. This is the same Seyi Makinde who attended the same University of Lagos at the same time with Engr. Alao and was as dormant as an abandoned account. While Engr. Alao was a faculty rep in the same faculty with Makinde for good five years, Seyi was moving from one tutorial to the other so he can pass exams; a feat Engr. Alao had surpassed as at then. " " Even as a professional in the Oil and Gas sector, what has Seyi Makinde achieved legitimately that is propelling him to believe that he is more qualified than a renowned Civil /Structural Engineer who has made marks locally and globally." "This is a perennial loser who has become a Methuselah in the politics of Oyo State, yet can not boast of a viable structure. Engr. Alao who started his mobilization just a year and few months to elections has now assembled an enviable structure. If Makinde is so sure of the structure of his ailing PDP, why is he hell-bent on aligning with AD at all cost" Adeniji asked. We are putting it straight to Seyi Makinde that AD is not for sale. He tried this with SDP, he failed. He has tried it with AD, he has failed once again; an attestation of his pending electoral failure. We, therefore, call on our party members and supporters to remain resolute. We have already filed a complaint to the National Leadership of our party on the anti-party activities of Chief Alamu and the rest. While we await the decision of the National Leadership, the official flag off of our party billed for Saturday, 12th January 2019 is still on course. Signed, Hon. (Barr.) Tajudeen Ademola Adeniji (Aduke Ade) Director General, Oyedele Hakeem Alao Campaign Organisation.

After you have passed through the tough stages of writing JAMB and getting high grades, I congratulate you but much tougher tests await as you move into your school of admission. There are many little things that may cause you stress in the course of your registration. This items must be with you hands on prior to your admission. 1. Your local government certificate. This is as important as writing JAMB/UTME itself because no institution of higher learning in Nigeria would accept anyone they know nothing about. This certificate tells details about your state of origin and your local government with an attestation of the Chairman of your local government or his secretary (in chairman’s absence). You don’t want to start going back home after you’ve got to school for full resumption as that will amount to stress and waste of money. So the best thing is to get it as early as possible. 2. Your original O-level results/certificate and original Jamb certificate For those that have written O-level examination for more than two years back, you’ll have the chance to get your original results after that time, so it is advised to proceed now to their respective offices(WAEC, NECO, NABTEB e.t.c.) to claim your results (but don’t go empty handed). They have head offices in the 36 states of the federation (you can google up for the location in your own state). Also, you have to get a scratch card to print your original Jamb certificate which shows your results and date of birth. It is always coloured green and white. This would also be requested for in the course of registration in your school of admission. On the other hand, for those who just finished secondary school and got admission the same year, you’d be given a chance of producing these certificates before you graduate from the institution during screening in the penultimate year -3rd year for university i.e. 300Level. And at this time you would have the chance to get the original copy of your certificate/results. 3. Original birth certificates/ affidavit I intentionally put this last because it is the major cause of registration stress in most higher institutions of learning. You’d be surprised that some people don’t even know their date of births and it was never documented by their parent, so they end up running up and down from court to school in order to get affidavit/ declaration of age. In some cases, some might want to increase/ decrease their age as the case may be for reasons best known to them and they start running helter sketer from class to courts, spending lots of money in the process while their mates would be in class receiving lectures, if you find yourself in this category, you should do that as soon as possible to save yourself registration ‘palava’. One other thing that causes problems for newly admitted students in tertiary institutions is the issue of change of name or not writing names in full. The name you used in writing JAMB/UTME must NOT be different from what you have on your birth certificate , some people make the mistake of changing names while some use abbreviations. This is very wrong, for example: if your name is ADEKUNLE TAIWO BABALOLA on your birth certificate, it should read exactly the same thing on your O-Level and UTME results. Any alteration or slight difference renders one of the certificates invalid…and you’ll have to go for affidavit again. There are some other important things to note in the course of your registration but these three are by far the most important, follow these instruction and have a successful hitch-free registration process in your school of admission. BEST OF LUCK! Source: www.mcmarryedu.com.ng You can comment on what you feel to also be included. |
HTC has released a standout new smartphone called the U Ultra that offers a refreshing and sophisticated approach to design and that gets to know you and your habits over time. There are two models – the U Ultra with a 5.7-inch display and the U Play with a 5.2-inch screen. It has what HTC calls a liquid surface so it reflects and transforms light and was achieved with a new colour bonding process so the glass is evenly molded at high pressure around the sides and edges. It will be available in three colours – white, black and blue. The HTC U devices introduce the HTC Sense Companion which is constantly learning from you and remembering the things you do every day. It can remind you to take an umbrella, warn you might need to recharge before heading out, book seats for you and even recommend restaurants for you. And it’s designed to get better over time and comes with voice recognition so it can tell when you’re talking to it and respond even when its locked and asleep. Also onboard is a secondary display at the top of the screen that offers notifications and shortcuts without interrupting what you’re doing on the main part of the screen. On the audio side, HTC has introduced more new technology to make your music sound even better. We all hear sound differently and HTC’s USonic can send a sonic pulse to adapt the output for you like having your very own sound engineer to optimise the audio. When taking videos and recording audio, the HTC U uses four omni-directional mics so you can record immersive 360-degree audio. HTC builds on the excellent 12-megapixel camera introduced with the HTC 10 which received a DxOMark score of 88. Now there’s laser focus for fast sharp snaps and Phase Detection Auto Focus so you capture every moment in crisp detail. And your selfies are sorted as well with the 16-megapixel (that’s right – higher resolution that the back camera) UltraPixel front camera which has four time the light sensitivity.
