I beg to differ. I started studying in an Engineering program in the states this spring and from what I've seen we have a long way to go. Nigerians have mastered the art of getting top grades in US universities which is all very well, but that's not the most important thing. The most important thing is innovation. Inventing products. Building companies. Creating value and wealth. Not just racking up 4.0s that invariably set u up to be an employee to the white man for life. How many patents have been filed by any Nigerian or Nigerian run company in the states? Relative to other Nationals? For the amount of undergrads and graduates we funnel into the system yearly the net return on innovation is slim to none. Nigerians mostly like to play it safe: go to US, study hard and settle into cushy careers. I don't see any multi million ( not mommy and daddy enterprises abeg) Nigerian startups like I see with some Chinese, Japenese and even Indians in the US. My point is the mentality has to change from earning paper certificates to creating lasting value that would impact on society, and as of right now i don't see anything that would justify any chest thumping as a Nigerian.

People all around the world are talking now about the
politically incorrect things that we here have always
been discussing---- The intolerance of the muslim
community towards us (infidels) and the intolerance
towards anyone who says anything which is not in line
with their 7th century AD book and some fucking
prophet. (I again apologise for this but I just cant hold it
back anymore). One of the main problems, especially in
the West is that all leaders want to be politically correct
and say that Islam is peaceful, muslims are peaceful, its
just the act of a few terrorists for which we cant blame
the whole community. Well I am completely fed up of
this horseshit. I agree that not all muslims are terrorists
but ALL TERRORISTS are muslims. I don't know exactly
what, but something is definitely wrong with the religion
of Islam.. period. But, don't people from other religions
kill other people?? Yes they do, but they don't do it in
the name of religion.. that's the difference.. For
example, IF a Christian guy goes around killing a dozen
people because they spoke ill of Jesus, then I know for
a fact that the whole Christian community in the WORLD
would condemn, detest and spit on this lunatic guy and
would want him dead the next minute.... but this is
certainly not the case in Islam---- the example is Charlie
Hebdo. A couple of muslim guys killed a dozen people
because they (apparently) insulted Islam, so what does
the Muslim community do? they just go in front of the
camera and condemn it in the mildest of terms but
deep inside they're celebrating the fact that the guys
who insulted their prophet is now dead. This is why the
terrorists who planned Charlie Hebdo are now Martyrs in
the Islamic world. This is how disgusting the Islamic
world is ... they will hate and kill those who write the
wrong words or draw the incorrect paintings but, they
will celebrate those inhuman terrorists who kill such
innocent people. Therefore moral of Islam - Killing
innocents is celebrated but writing words on a piece of
paper would lead to death. This is the most inhuman
and uncivilised behaviour that any culture can have.
This culture is destructive and in no way constructive.
Now, I don't need to read the Holy book of Islam
(Quran) to criticize the religion. This is the point that I
have to make to all dumb-headed motherfuckers like -
Reza Aslan and Ben Affleck. I dont need to know what's
in the text in order to judge what's practically happening
in front of my own eyes. Islam is just intolerant ... the
list of terrorist attacks-- 9/11, london bombings, madrid
bombings, sydney hostage situation, Nigerian Boko
Haram killing thousands, Indian attack of 7/11 and
26/11, new delhi, somalia, eqypt, Iraq, Iran, Libya
etc .... all these countries and cities have been the
victims of islamic terrorism not just once but numerous
times, and this is just 1/100th of the whole list of
attacks. Such widespread intolerance in the Islamic
community is what makes it SHITTIER than all other
religions. Therefore, the element of religion in terrorism
needs to be acknowledged by the our fucking
politicians. Enough of "All religions are equal and
peaceful" shit. All religions are not peaceful, clearly
Islam is not and Mr. Barack Obama needs to come out
and fucking say that. Not talking about the religion
aspect of terrorism is like 'pushing the dust under the
carpet'- You can't see it but, you know its there and
one day you'll have to clean it all. So therefore solving
the menace of the increasing restriction of free speech
and terrorism will only begin with acknowledging where
the blame lies and clearly blame has to be apportioned
in this case to Islam and those aspects of Islam that are
causing millions of muslims to increasingly become
intolerant and violent. Don't take my word on Islam
being a violent religion, just read Ayaan Hirsi Ali's book
'the caged virgin', where she criticizes Islam extensively,
exposing its violent streak and she also throws light on
the non-existent rights of women, homosexuals and
other minorities.
I have never understood the logic of allowing millions of
muslim people to freely enter our countries, build
thousands of Mosques, change the demographics of our
State, come to our free countries and change the free
liberal atmosphere to terrified and fearful one. Do you
know that you will be beaten 50 times with an Iron rod,
in Saudi Arabia, if you're caught kissing your girlfriend/
boyfriend by the religious police in public?? I don't
understand why muslims come to our countries and
then increasingly demand more rights (which is ok, but
it is happening at the cost of our own rights) and
demand change in OUR laws so as to suit THEIR needs.
Well I say Bleep THIS SHIT. I think we all need to take
control of this and pledge to " not let it happen in our
countries". I would urge all of us to raise our voices so
that our representatives and lawmakers can hear what
we are saying and stop the Islamisation of our
respective countries.... Oh and you know the thing
about living in an Islamic State right?? IT'S PURE HELL..
Just go to Saudi Arabia and you'll see. This is not an
Islamophobic rant, what I am saying here today are all
just facts and yes just the facts of the Islamic world are
scary, just wait till you hear from one of your own who's
visited these shitty Islamic states. If the muslims hate
the free speech and liberal lifestyle of the WEST, why
come here? Why don't they go back to their theocratic
states and let us live in peace.
So, to keep your country safe from this rampant
Islamisation in the world, vote for a strong Immigration
system in your country, tell your law makers to shut the
Bleep up and stop allowing muslims from entering your
country (unless they're willing to live by your laws and
don't demand their feudal laws be enacted for them). I
however do agree that the vast majority of muslims are
peaceful ... this is because the people are peaceful not
Islam. It's a bloody feudal 7th century AD religion that
has never ever been reformed unlike, all other religions
that have adapted to the changing times. So let's
address the root cause of the problems we face. Having
said this, I don't think I can tolerate the illogical
demands and other shit of the muslim community
anymore.... they better change or get out of my country,
