There have always been boarding bridges in MMA since forever, never took a shuttle bus to board or disembark from an international flight in Lagos. But I have taken a shuttle bus and walked up the stairs to a Lufthansa flight in Frankfurt Germany, doesn't mean Frankfurt Airport don't have boarding bridges. If all the gates are full passengers will be boarded or disembarked using shuttle buses. It happens all over the world, and if you are a frequent flyer you will know.

Last January, I have a vivid memory of my experience at the MMA. After disembarking from the plane, we were directed to a shuttle bus that took us to the terminal. The bus was filled with fellow passengers, all of us sharing a sense of anticipation after our flight. The ride was smooth, allowing us to catch glimpses of the bustling airport outside the windows. On my return trip, I flew with the same Lufthansa airline, and the experience was just as pleasant.

I just hope they implement the new plan without any substandard issues that could cause it to fail soon.

It is also called a 'Jet bridge,' valid for boarding and disembarking from the aircraft.
The last time I flew to Nigeria through the MMA, I felt ashamed that an airport of such size didn't have a jet bridge.
We had to walk to a shuttle bus to take us to the terminal. Pathetic!

Don't mind them. It's all because the majority of them had been beclouded by one of our major problems - Religion, and Trump knows how to use it well to gain cheap popularity for himself.

I completely agree with you. I used to be a strong supporter of Donald Trump, but after moving to the States in 2019 and witnessing events firsthand, I've gained a clearer understanding of the situation. I’m confident that my observations reflect a more informed perspective.

I'm just laughing and shaking my head at the way most of the people commenting here are making a mockery of the situation and also comparing Texas to Nigeria.
First, imagine a world where almost everything you do is powered by electricity, regarded as a basic infrastructure. I'm asking this because I live in Houston; I know how I felt when I couldn't cook (because most houses use electric cookers), watch the TV, charge my phones, or talk about working on the PC (to mention a few of the things that revolve around electricity usage).
The most extended power outage I've experienced before Hurricane Beryl lasted 3 hours. Still, after the recent storm, the power outage in my area lasted for two days before it was restored. I knew how horrible I felt for those two days, but thanks to the 'Nigerian shock absorber' in me. Most places have already had their power restored, but some areas are still without power, making it a week-plus.
So you wouldn't blame the government or other people who might have declared it a crisis. Even those who have the most expensive solar panels were affected one way or the other. Power generator sales have been on the increase since the occurrence of the storm. Still, I love how the government kept sending emergency alerts, warning people about the dangers of maintaining generators inside their houses because of the harmful carbon monoxide they emit.

This reminds me of the time I went to renew my Nigerian Passport at the Nigerian Embassy in Atlanta, Georgia.
Despite having made the required payment in dollars online, upon getting there, there were still some other payments we were asked to make, (using POS without receipts), all of which were in dollars.

Plane and helicopters crashing has become regular occurrences in USA recently claimed several life of able people including Nigerian born senior banker. Nigeria can assist USA in area of technicalities as we are enjoying one of safest airspace currently.
