That's not true. Try to do more of findings before you post thongs like this.
At least one person I so much respect his articles regarding satellite is Lemmy Morgan and he released an update on Tstv this afternoon. You can read more about it here:

Wow! Glad to see that 1st November is sacrosanct, and that's a week's time from now. I'm still hoping that they'll keep to their much expected promise of showing live football matches.

Phones / Re: Airtel Illegal Account Deduction by Wilfem(m): 10:49pm On Oct 19, 2017
After this so called illegal deduction, I later recharged may data line with N100 and successfully subscribed to the data plan. Then, I decided to give their customer care a call again, and to my greatest surprise, I was told that the money deducted is 'non refundable'. Meaning that it's been permanently deducted, (while I never knew or made use of the service). I'm just wondering about the numbers of people who might be going through this, and to the Airtel team, they'll think they're making money for them through all these.
I later got myself deactivated and I hope it won't ever happen again. But in the meantime, something really drastic needs to be done from the regulatory bodies, so as to prevent these.

Phones / Re: Airtel Illegal Account Deduction by Wilfem(m): 9:29pm On Oct 19, 2017
I recharged my line, so as to renew my Internet bundle (N2.5/5gb) inside my wifi device, but the data subscription couldn't go through, for like an hour or so. Later on, I got a text message that N100 has been deducted for one yeye 10Vid service that I neither knew about nor ever subscribed to. I immediately called them, but was told that the application to be used in deactivating the stuff is down and that I should exercise patience for 24 hours.
The implication of this that I can't make the data subscription for now as I wanted, except if I complete the money back.
I wouldn't want to hide the fact that I was very much angry and very displeased with this.

In as much as I really want a good and healthy competition for pay-TV viewing in Nigeria. More so, I'm neither an agent nor a marketer of any of them, but truth be told: Tstv is not really ready. I went to their office in Abuja and they were still installing and setting up of some needed ICT infrastructures. That's why I'm not surprised with their excuses of accreditation of dealers as their reason for not releasing their decoders for sale. I strongly believe that they just wanted to share their launch date with the independence day. THEY'RE NOT READY YET. But nonetheless, I wish them all the best.

Two global broadcasting giants beIN and Turner have publicly disassociated their services from the widely anticipated pay-per-view television service, TSTV.

Recall that TSTV launched its operations on Sunday, October 1 with an impetuous fanfare that fetched the warm embrace of fun seekers looking to get better services as opposed to that of South Africa’s, Digital Satellite Television (DSTV).

The truth of the matter is TSTV is a baby,they should take baby step and come in strategically, they should not aim at taking DSTV subscribers first, they will fail because they cant satisfy DSTV subscriber even if they are in Business for the next five years they should just look at the competitive advantages they have and push their energy in that direction, let us not forget that DSTV has categories of customers, the ones that are complaining, the ones that are indifferent and the one that are not complaining, their target should be the ones that are indifferent, if they start with those that complain, they will still complain and they would push tstv beyond their power and sooner than later tstv will start messing up.
I don't really understand what you mean by saying Tstv is a baby. They're just coming, and have not even launched yet, and you're calling them a baby. Take your time oo cheesy cheesy

That won't happen, hopefully by God's grace. I'm prayerfully waiting for the launch of TSTV, so as to bring about a steady competition to those Dsthieves. I really can't wait for the exploitations from those people to stop.

If this news is actually true, I have no doubt that it's because of the 'forthcoming launch' of TSTV that is prompting them to implement this. Tstv is really going to give Dstv a run for their money. I really can't wait for October 1, for now though, while also hoping that Dstv would not spring up any foul play towards Tstv launch.

THEME: LITTLE REQUESTS LIMIT GOD

Memorise:

And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight. 1 John 3:22

Read: James 1:5-6

1:5 This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.

1:6 If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:

Message:

The Lord Jesus Christ instructed us to ask until our joy is full (John 16:24). Due to a lack of faith in God’s ability to meet our needs, many of us ask for crumbs, and by doing so, we insult or dishonour God. Are you one of such people? During one of our special programmes sometimes ago, while in my prayer room, God took me up on this issue. He reminded me of an incident that happened several years before then, when I went to London to prepare our Sunday School manual. After finishing it, I still had three days to go before my flight is due, but I had completely run out of money. The kind of ticket I paid for on that trip was a cheap one and so it did not allow for rescheduling of dates. I felt I could go without food for three days but could not avoid buying certain materials, books and tapes that I needed. These would cost me £50 and I had no money. So I said, “Daddy, it would be good if I could get £50” Shortly after, my phone rang and I picked it up. The fellow on the line said, “Biyi”. I told him there was nobody with that name there. He asked, “Is that not so and so number?” As we talked, he got to know who I was and he screamed. He called out to his brother with excitement, telling him that he was speaking with me. Obviously, they had been discussing how they could see me and now I was on the phone with them. Eventually, they came over, we talked, and as they were leaving, they gave me £50. As soon as they left, I said, “Daddy, if I knew it would be this easy, I would have asked for £100!”

As I went upstairs in the apartment I was staying at, I rejoiced over the 50pounds I had just received. Just then, the doorbell rang, and then it rang a second time. By this time, it was night already. Before I got to the door, the fellow at the door had slipped an envelope through the door into the room and left. I picked it up, opened it and realized it had come from a man I had known for a long time. He was a very wealthy man who was also very stingy. He had never given me a dime before. In the envelope was £50 and a note saying, “I just felt like giving you some money.” As I went towards the bedroom, I told God that if I had known this second £50 would come, I would have asked for another £50! That night, before I slept, another £50 came. Then I became afraid and told God I was joking and did not want to offend Him. In my prayer room, the Lord told me I had been a foolish boy. “If you asked me for £50 and I could provide it, why didn’t you ask for £5000?” Are you trying to help God conserve His resources when you ask? He doesn’t need your help! Ask, and ask big! Don’t limit Him.

Key Point:
If the over seven billion inhabitants of the earth were to ask their best from God, they still could not exhaust a drop of His resources.

BIBLE IN ONE YEAR:
2 Chronicles 26-28
Ezekiel 40:5-19

AUTHOR: PASTOR E. A. ADEBOYE

HYMN 3: HOW GREAT THOU ART

1. O Lord my God, when I in awesome wonder,
Consider all the worlds Thy hands have made;
I see the stars, I hear the rolling thunder,
Thy power throughout the universe displayed.

Chorus:
Then sings my soul, my Saviour God, to Thee,
How great Thou art! How great Thou art!
Then sings my soul, My Saviour God, to Thee,
How great Thou art! How great Thou art!

2. When through the woods, and forest glades I wander,
And hear the birds sing sweetly in the trees.
When I look down, from lofty mountain grandeur
And hear the brook, and feel the gentle breeze.

Refrain

3. And when I think, that God, His Son not sparing;
Sent Him to die, I scarce can take it in;
That on the cross, my burden gladly bearing,
He bled and died to take away my sin.

Refrain

4. When Christ shall come, with shout of acclamation,
And take me home, what joy shall fill my heart.
Then shall I bow, in humble adoration,
And then proclaim, "My God, how great Thou art!"

Refrain

DSTv has paid bribe to NBC and they have gaged TSTV. The pre-planned launch was not successful.
Sadly, this is not far from the obvious truth. I was quite annoyed, that after 2 weeks of their initial lauch date, nothing concrete seems to be forthcoming from Tstv, and from the obvious truth, I'm not really surprised. But I can't hide my sadness that things of such still happens in this country. You can imagine, just because of the selfish interest of few individuals, the interests of hundreds of thousands of people have been dashed. God will help us in this country of ours
