Former media aide to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, Dr Doyin Okupe has expressed joy over the emergence of Donald J. Trump as the President-elect of the United States of America.

Okupe on Wednesday on his Facebook page said Trump “contested against the entire american establishment” and won.

Quoting from Psalms 33 verses 10 and 11 of the the Holy Bible, Okupe wrote, “The Lord bringeth the counsel of the heathen to nought, He maketh the devices of the people of non effect. The counsel of the Lord standeth for ever.”

He also quoted from Psalms 2 verses 1, 2, and 4 adding, “Hillary Clinton, her husband Bill and the Democrats are the protagonists of liberalism in America. They encourage homosexuality, same sex marriage and all sorts of societal immorality in the USA. To make matters worse in July this year Hilarry publicly stated that, the words of the Bible (the Word of God) be changed to accommodate “current” social realities. What a blasphemy against Jehovah, the maker and ruler of the universe, the God of all flesh, the only living and Supreme God. The bible says “the word of God is settled” how can we imagine that God will allow someone who will change His word to have power! Vanity and nothing short is of vanity.”

Okupe also said Trump’s victory was a clear indication of the “awesomeness of God”.

“The events of today is a robust testimony to all, christian and non Christians, about the awesomeness of this God, who has ridiculed all the so-called Principalities and Powers of the world and has used the foolish things of this world to confound the wise men of the world.

“God is going to usher in a new order in the world and its affairs. Only the righteous will prevail.

“For this historic victory, of a man with no experience in politics or public or military service, We give ALL Glory to the Almighty God and His Son Jesus Christ to whom all honour, praise and adoration, is due.”

At 20, i have come to realise the joy and fulfilment in living life to the fullest. Coming from a noble home, i was not raised to be a man's stooge not to talk of an animal's. My worth was defined from the day i stepped into earth and has been shapened overtime. I was taught the right and the wrong. And that moral laws condone no breaker. If a woman must be condemned and despised for a crime, a man must by all means face the same. I believed this and i knew before God and men it was the truth. I didnt just believe, it became real to me and has influenced my judgement.

However, the society has flung half of this truth and has held on to a part because of how drunk in power it has become and the advantage this fist had fetched it.

We are aware now of this evil conditioning that a woman who sleeps around is a slut and should be desired less but a man who does same a stud and should be the craving of every woman. Many men have quietly nodded in agreement and a few mouthy ones have not failed to vocalise their agreement. And women? So many to the shame of dignity and womanhood have sang along with the men. And you wonder which would sacrifice her pride to make a stud!?

Because to make more studs we need more sluts. Can any of you women come out and offer yourself to a man who would dump you for another. If you cannot hold your peace and stupidity!

A stud is a man who is sexually attractive to so many women. So they say! but i see a stud as an animal who is unable to control its sexual desires, hates monogamous relationships and (therefore) deserves to be judged and condemned.


Women who say they are attracted to studs and hate inexperienced men need not only their heads examined but their consciences and should not take offence when they are called sluts. Cos only a slut or zombie would reason this way.


A stud has nothing tangible to offer except to toy with my emotion, cause me heart breaks and render me unproductive.

For every stud out there there are ten whores rendering my gender useless and subjecting me to prove myself as a woman of pride and esteem all the time. Nothanks.

A former Deputy President of the Nigerian Senate, Senator Ibrahim Mantu has disclosed the reasons why former President Goodluck Jonathan was defeated at the 2015 Presidential election.
In an interview with Premium Times, the former lawmaker claimed that those who Jonathan worked with were responsible for his failure at the polls.

Mantu said, “Jonathan lost because he refused to work with people who know the game. Most of the people Jonathan worked with were mediocres and amateurs. At a point in time, he even left the party machinery and employed some consultants to work for him.”

Commenting on the role campaign groups played during the last Presidential election especially the Transformation Ambassadors of Nigeria, TAN, Mantu said, “There are many of them. They came to Eagle Square and said they have 75 million signatures.

He said, “Where were the 75 million people when we were voting? Politics is a grassroots game. When you don’t use your structure at the grassroots, you will lose. How many people watch television? Those that have don’t have light. So, when you say you are using television to campaign, you are wasting your time. Campaign is at the grassroots level.”

Mantu admitted that the All Progressives Congress, APC, emerged victorious during the last general election because Nigerians were tied of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

He said, “People were already tired of PDP. PDP was suffering from hangover, fatigue. Sixteen years in power uninterrupted is not easy in a country like Nigeria. Then, PDP became over drunk with power. We were staggering. We missed our road. We were no longer respecting the people. Virtually everywhere, APC votes came from PDP members who were angry with the party.”

The ex-Deputy Senate President however noted that the current government should be given more time before being asked to give account of its stay in power.

“You see it is too early to assess because as far as I am concerned you need to give government time. It has not even spent up to one year out of four years. You must give the government at least two years. You can be saying negative things about this government now. Initially, there is always pain in starting anything,” Mantu stated
