Pls, i need help... if anyone could kindly assist me with these informations...

Bought a new sim last week and registered it, the man that registered the sim for me told me that the line would be active in 24hrs time, so i waited till the next day at exactly the same period of time, inserted the line into my phone and tried to use the line, but to no avail, it didn't work, tried to call, the message i got from an answering machine was that my line isn't registered .. So i continued the process (register) till day before yesterday.... Still the same thing... I' m fed up... Pls what do i do?
