It doesn't matter if you account is overdrawn, as long as you are getting the required amount required.
Hello House I need honest advise next year I wish to applied for a partner visa for my wife am 49 year I got married in 1998 in Nigeria after 16 year of marriage I got a divorce we had two beautiful kids six months later I got remarried in Nigeria. I live most of my life in the UK I work just currently earning just over £2000 a month .in 1998 the process for settlement was easier my question is how do I go about the process. my account are in overdraw for the past five year like half of the UK population my wife run her own business currently earning N100K a month it will be grateful if the house can point me in the right direction thank you[/quote] |

You should soon get an email, I got my determination 15/4/2015, but the did not call me until the end of August, make sure you TB certificate is still valid, if not go an do a new one, it took 2 weeks for them to email to collect my passport, yours may be faster. Winso26: Hello everyone, I am new to nairaland, I am currently waiting for my spouse settlement visa. I applied sometimes ago in December 2014, which was refused. We logged in an appeal in 2015 which was successful. The determination was promulgated in 31/07/2015, ever since I didn't hear anything from them, until I wrote to the SAT(specialist appeal Team) they wrote me back, to inform me that they have concluded on my case, that they have since forwarded the matter to ECO in Lagos on the 11th of September and they further explained in that email that they were not going to challenge the decision of the the Judge. The email also says that the ECO in lagos is now responsible for the issuing of the visa. What's really the true, is that the spouse settlement visa can be issue in Lagos or in Sheffield? Please, if there is anyone in the house with any ideal concealing this matter, please don't hesitate to advise. Your advice and comments will be highly appreciated. Regards, Winso26 |

I have passed all this stage of determination, they have requested for my passport and I have sent it seen 7th. I have lived in uk for almost 8 years so I know what it entails to live in uk. Lexusgs430: In the communication you received, it was clearly stated 8 weeks for determination!!! You only sent the passport this month. The length of time you have been waiting for this, is definitely longer than you gave left to go. Patience is a virtue!!!! UK is hustle continua, no rest @all. |

On receipt the timescale is 8 weeks to conclude the case.'"

The email we send to Sheffield office we scanned the determination letter and send it with the email. How long the process normally takes. Mine is spouse settlement visa. Thanks, Se I my determination letter April 15 and they do not request for my passport until August ending, at a point I was told same, this is where to start from send an email to this email ad. Hello, please where did you applying from and if I can get address he sent the letter to, thanks.
I would like to use this opportunity to appreciate you for your last advise concerning my appeal hearing. We wrote a letter to the tribunal informing them that we are not using our lawyer again that my husband will be my representative, 16days after the hearing day, I got a letter of determination on 26th July, 2015 that I'm allowed meaning that I won the case. My hubby write a letter to the embassy and he attached the determination letter and I wrote them a letter 4 days after. The embassy rang me last week that I will be having an interview tomorrow that I should come with my passport alone.
Gurus, please what does that mean? Will they do another interview for me? |

Thanks I will call them today, fingers crossed hope it works, three months is enough time for them to respond. girlfio: That's just ridiculous. Unfortunately they are notoriously slow to respond after a successful court appeal. The best advice I could give would be for your uk sponsor to now start calling them every other day for an update (Leicester tribunal office). They should also be sending emails to Sheffield seeking an update on the escalation of your visa award, making sure to include all appropriate ref numbers and past correspondence.
If you don't keep on at them then they will continue to take their time. |

You guy need to see me jumping and praising God, I can't thank him enough. I will also like to say thank you for the info I got on this forum, it really helped, although at the beginning I was been discouraged from appealing, I just had to have faith, it is long but worth it at the end, am getting to the end of this face of my life, "I WON MY APPEAL" ! |
