There are lots of online businesses that thrive due to these platforms not to talk of their monetisation scheme. Do people just talk to be seen as patriotic or there are things I don't understand. People are going to lose so much money cause a lot of Nigeria earn from there and use it for advertising. This is actually not a good thing at all. Millions of Nigerian business run ads on FB and instagram. |

Health › Re: Why Did I Ejaculate During Examination At Covenant University? by Wimkeh(m): 9:53pm On Apr 29, 2025 |
grandiose4ever: To Doctors In The House.
I am a Covenant University graduate. Some years ago during my 200L I enrolled for a course themed "CHM212: Physical Chemistry". After the semester end, half of the class failed the course miserably. So we retook the course in 300 Level as a "carryover", then I failed this course again. Then in 400L I enrolled for this course again.
This time around I read severely for the course because a failure would amount to an extra year. But when I got to the exam hall and opened the questions, much of it looked like Arabic to me. I couldn't even make sense of what the question was talk more of what the answers could be. Beyond writing my name, I could only attempt a few questions.
Looking around I could see how the 200 level Chemistry students where flipping papers. I could only curse my own department for making us enroll to Chemistry courses that were of little relevance to my department. To make things worse, some of these 200 level students where requesting for extra papers and I was wondering why anyone would need extra papers.
From afar it was clear that my 400L class mates also retaking the course where equally in disarray. One was sweating under AC, the other had that look - you know that look of a clueless person who was certain of failure and the last was making unsuccessful attempts to 'giraffe' another student. Some minutes later, some people started submitting scripts, then the principal supervisor declared 10 minutes more for the rest of us.
The moment she made that declaration, it was as though the reality of an extra year came blaring at my face. I could feel tension surging down my body from neck down and then my muscles contracted. Two seconds before, I was now certain I was going to have an ejaculation. I immediately held my head and pretended as though I was having a painful headache as one or two people looked my way wondering why I had a 'squirting face' and was in apparent discomfort.
After the ejaculation I felt peace of mind. So I immediately stood up and dashed towards the exit with my almost blank papers in hand covering my groin. I submitted and ran back to my hostel room before anyone could notice any wet spurt on my trousers. I changed over and ran back to Chapel begging God for even a D so I can graduate.
Glory to God, when the results came out I had a D - which is the minimum grade you could evade a carryover/extra year at CU.
But till today I wonder why and how I could have had that disgustingly embarrassing experience. I would be grateful if Doctors or Biologist could explain why such a thing would happen to me at an examination. I would like to know if anyone has experienced anything remotely close to that. Thank you for your time
This has happened to me before but it was Igbo exam I was taking. The teacher knows my mum very well so I couldn’t afford to fail. Lo and behold, I wrote nothing. Immediately she said “Pens Up” I came violently. |

Animegirl: I have a burning passion to become a wealthy and successful woman, but I'm worried that getting married and having children might force me to put my dreams on hold. I'm concerned that I won't be able to balance family life with my personal ambitions. Furthermore, the societal pressures in Nigeria, combined with the constraints of time and age, are making me feel like I'm already at a disadvantage. My desire for success is strong, but I'm fearful that having a family might mean sacrificing my dreams.
I'm really scared. I remember how you used to condemn men on this space because you were busy making money. In fact one time you even said you paid people to go on date for you. I just dey laugh this one. You will just know when someone is new to making money. Now look at you. Can’t you date your money? Can’t you pay someone to tell you every time will be alright? Can’t you pay someone to hug you? Now you understand money isn’t everything. |

Romance › Re: Why Do Ladies Hate It When Older Men Date Younger Women? by Wimkeh(m): 10:03pm On Apr 16, 2025 |
mayDtolu: I’ve been seeing a trend lately—ladies calling out men in their 30s for dating women aged 18 to 22.
They say stuff like: “It’s giving manipulation.” “What do you see in someone that young?” “Why not date someone your age?”
But let’s be honest: Back in school, weren’t most of these same young ladies dating older guys? They liked the maturity, stability, and even the flex of saying “I don’t do boys.”
So now that the tables have turned, why the outrage? Is it about concern… or double standards?
If a 21-year-old woman chooses to date a 33-year-old man, and both are adults—what exactly is the issue?
Let’s talk: • Why is it cool when she chooses the older man, but creepy when he shows interest? • Is it manipulation or mutual preference? • Ladies, is this really about protection… or competition?
Let’s have an honest convo. Drop your thoughts. What thirty year old women are doing right now is called manipulation. Listen, women have been given too much freedom by modern standards. There is a reason why historically, women were not allowed to have certain rights. We're not smarter than our forefathers. They've manipulated men into thinking they have to go for old cargoes, despite these old cargoes ignoring them like crazy when they were younger. This is only the beginning. |

Because they want these older men for themselves. Or else they will never be married.
Now that these older men have money, they want to date them. But when these men were young and haven't made money, these same women rejected their advances, stating that they can't date men in the same age bracket as them. |

JackDaAlienz: Guys i dont know how to handle this situation. A brothel just opened last month beside my house. If i had known that such a place will be built around me i would have not rented that apartment.
During day time. Everywhere is calm until from 7pm till 1am 2am!!! All i hear is prostitutes arguing and fighting over customers. Loud music with annoying hypeman. Making noise all night..
Early in the morning these girls come outside as early as 6 -7am and continue arguing and shouting disturbing the street.
How do i handle this Also i keep seeing rough looking guys roaming my area at night. The street no longer feel safe.
What should i do? I think there's a government agency you can report to in Lagos. I reported a bar near my house one time, but they took a while to respond and ask for location. But before that time, the owner of the store died and it was closed down by his relatives. Sometimes I feel like his death was connected to that disturbance cause a lot of people can't sleep at night, but they won't complain either. Edit: Okay, I just went through my twitter message and got their Twitter handle. It's @LasepaOfficial |

izombie: Of course you are right but the question now is if you were apple, would rather move your company back to US to serve about 300 million people or stay in china and serve about 1.3 billion people? Yes, china does have the population. But do you believe that Chinese people don't use iPhone? They still buy their Xioami and other chinese phones. Even when they buy iPhone, it's the knock-off version. They patronize Chinese product rather than Western. But in America, everyone is using an iPhone. And that money goes back to China to enrich their economy. So can you see? Now There are hundreds of American companies in China doing the same thing. Even in Nigeria it's the same. All the money we get from Oil goes to importing from China. But China hardly imports from us. We have a huge trade deficit with China but we no get mouth to do anything. They still prefer to buy their stuffs before they buy ours. Americans will buy Nigerian food, buy our oil, damn nearly buy our culture. Americans are just big spenders like that. But Chinese are more of buying from their own. Let me even make you understand more, even when it comes to yahoo, which client will you prefer to have? American Client or Chinese client? There goes your answer. The avg American is a spender. And Nigerians benefit from them a lot. Even people that work remotely online prefer American clients. Never heard anyone saying they got a Chinese client and are happy. |

Fiscus105: The same way Chinese companies scattered everywhere in the world, Trump would surely fail to force company,.......only a fool would open his gate for USA, while the USA would be progressing, his own country would be diminishing. Americans are the biggest consumers in the world. They will buy and export. When last have you ever exported anything to China? China only exports and take your dollar. China only buy from themselves too Even in real life, if you land an American client, you know you’ve landed someone. Americans spend like crazy. China doesn’t. They instead collect. Americans consume Chinese goods, Americans goods, Mexican goods, etc. China only buys from itself. They’re more nationalist than USA |
Foreign Affairs › Re: China Imposes 84% Import Tariffs On US Goods by Wimkeh(m): 1:41pm On Apr 09, 2025 |
Fiscus105: Is it only China Trump dealing with? Is it only Chinese investors, Trump telling to come and establish in US? Every other country is coming to negotiate. (Except China) American companies are scattered all over the world man and Trump doesn’t want that. They either do a trade deal or Trump will force them to come back. |
