That is his business, we was lucky that nemesis didn't catch up with him. But one day, I am sure that his sins will find him out. He is a sick drug addict (in my opinion: according to peoples verdict on his character), and he (Tinubu) will not escape nemesis.

But back to the subject: those heroes of yours: Obi Cubana and Chief Priest, and E-Money, will surely meet justice one day. They will disgrace you, surely.

Lol. Please don’t make me laugh harder than I already am. 😂
They won’t be the first nor the last. But it would do you good to focus all that energy on waiting for another man’s downfall to help yourself rise up.

One day, these your heroes: E-Money and Obi Cubana, will shame you guys when they are arrested in a foreign land for drug related crimes. We know them, and we also know that 99 days goes for the thief, 1 day the airport go catch them or their boys.

Like Tinubu was arrested and asked to forfeit his drugs money in the USA. That didn’t stop him from being president tho.

Are we really sure that it’s God who created Africans?

Nope. We evolved from apes and God created whites.

Too many things point in direction of my argument.

Cleanliness is next to Godliness they say. If God was to come down today, He definitely won’t come to Africa.

Lol I have not heard an adult say someone is sounding like a kid. I keep forgetting NairaLand has people with low Intelligent Quotient. I won't drag issues with you. When a man or woman needs to insult to get a point across without debating objectively, it shows the inferiority complex. Online does allow idiots to form sensible humans. Some of those that insult online cannot even pick the crumbs of those they insult not to talk of share food with them. Learn to argue with maturity. You English typing on here is not worthy of a HS Graduate not to talk of a college grad. Have a blessed day.

Oga, you just typed nonsense. I didn’t insult you; I just said you sounded like a kid and you further buttressed my point.

You’ve been talking about how Obi should do this and that but I pointed how silly you sounded and you feel insulted then go on to say some more pointless nonsense that has no connection with the initial topic.

Grow a pair and some sense while at it.

I wonder when he is going to react to Microsoft laying off people in other countries too.

Omo, you guys comparing this to laying off of staffs?! Are you guys daft or what?

Companies lay-off staffs all the time to reemploy even more. MTN and Airtel laid off thousands about couple of years ago.

Now a company pulled out of your nation totally; kindly send a post of Microsoft or google folding up or pulling out of said nations?!

By the way, what I am saying Peter Obi can do is what I am already making plans to do...lease a land, get our local plumber to run a series of sprinkler system by running pipes underground from an overhead tank before planting...then release to the community so they can maintain and harvest as they see fit. I do not believe in talking about something, one must actually do it and lead by example. Peter Obi knows how to import...I have no clue how he can turn the country to a producing nation that will be exporting. Followers just follow blindly like Fela said...Mister Follow Follow

You’re just sounding like a kid. Obi should do what exactly?!

Yes he said we should move from consumption to production.

You’re sounding like that means one should go about setting up industries to employ people. You speaking of Obi importing and all that BS

The ports are on ground but the policies are stifling. Is it Obi that will put policies on ground too since he already knows how to import?

Switching us from the consumers we are in to even bigger consumers is exactly why companies are pulling out and it’s all in our economic policies.

I mean; look at electricity. Handling things like electricity is the first step to move from consumers to producers instead; the government increases the tariff and put no new infrastructure to justify the increase. Obi has repeatedly said that but you just choose to listen selectively.

But Out of the ₦15trillion coastal abracadabra - -

11trillion will build 20 mini refineries in 20states of the federation and will also take care of the piping systems that takes the crude oil from the nigerdelta to these refineries .

The remaining ₦4 trillion can build 18 mini Gas power generation station that could generate 150Mega watt each - producing a total of 2,700mw , effectively ending power outage in those 18 states where the Gas power turbines are situated

Politics / Re: Minimum Wage: Labour Fires Back At Governors by Winnin009: 8:09am On May 05
In4matic:
So many of us saying it's not realistic have not looked at the issues critically.

The purpose of the proposed living wage is to ensure the lowest worker, his/her spouse and 4 dependants can live a basic life without the need to seek extra.

Now, with that said, let's really break down the estimate for food(N270,000):
270,000÷30 days= N9,000 per day for 6 persons.
Meaning N1,500 per person daily
Or N500 per meal.
Is that too much?

Next is transportation (N110,000).
Unless we are lying to ourselves, a junior worker or senior worker all pay the same bus fare, the same as school children.

Let's break it down.
N110,000÷22 days= 5,000 per day
Working father: N2,000 (to and fro).
Market mother: N1,000 (to and fro)
4 school kids: N500×4= 2000 daily

Is that too much?

Factor in Rent, Clothing, medication, utilities and you'll see this family is only just surviving.

This won't lead to inflation, rather stability in the economy because, money will flow again as purchasing power has increased.

The unemployed chap who engages in a trade or learns a skill is sure of patronage because people can afford his services.

It is a welcome development because only a government that is genuinely concerned about making wealth will be able to pull this off.
Looters waiting to share oil proceeds will kick against it, meanwhile, every single political office holder since 1999 leaves office stupendously rich.

My bro, God bless you for this breakdown. However, be rest assured that the airheads won’t get it.

The smallest indomie sachet is 1% of the current minimum wage. The average Nigerian can’t afford indomitable or spaghetti 500g.

615 or nothing

Yeah. The private sector would take a hit but they’ll adjust. If the government provides financial aids through bank loans and the companies also will systematically increase the quality and value of their products and services.

Overall, with such amount as minimum wage, people can avoid to buy more things at even higher rates or prices.

State and federal salary structure should be abolished and one structure should be made for both state and labor. They should be properly audited.

This is what state government is using to loot money through so many ghost workers. Remove ghost staff, each state will pay 1million minimum wage.

Omo, this thing you just mentioned go far o. I’ve never been in public service but I’ve been in private service in at least two multinationals. Even in these multinationals, they have ghost staffs. Like my branch in one instance was a zonal branch. It had hundreds of ghost workers that I could account for; just imagine the ones I can’t account for.

The first 10 people to comment on this thread are just fools.

Lagos is over hyped. If you have lived in other states like jos and even Kaduna, you'll know that Lagos and it's residents struggle for the most basic of things that northeners and other people enjoy seamlessly.

Asking people to go back to their states contravenes the constitution of Nigeria which grants nigerians to live anywhere in Nigeria.

APC folks are just as stupid as their leader. If not more stupid.

PS: This news also confirms that they actually took people in busses to their states. Complete nonsense!

You don’t see the folly in your statement. Lol. You literally compared a small part of a state to a whole state. Jos is one part of Plateau, same with the Kaduna city you mentioned.

Kindly be honest with yourself and compare Plateau state with Lagos or compare Jos with Ikeja.

Roads are investments and an anchor for development. Nothing stops the FG from creating new road corridors. Most especially an economically viable one like the coastal road that will connect the biggest refinery.

Indeed nothing stops the government from building new roads. It’s always a welcomed development.

But let me ask you this; try to be unbiased with your reply and you don’t have to reply me but be honest with yourself: I have six kids. All six are out of school, three are critically ill and the other three, are not ill but severely malnourished. God blesses me and I make some lil money. Common sense used to be attributed to Igbos on this forum now it has been changed to Obidients, how many fatal accidents use to make FP on Nairaland every week due to bad roads, because E never reach you doesn't mean that all is well, we can start with a national interstate roads emergency worth N15T and after we achieve that we focus on a long-term coastal road, how's that difficult?

Its very difficult because it will amount to doing the right thing. And doing the right thing goes against their innate nature.

Change is painful but necessary. This transition was long coming and it’s here. The tax returns isn’t much of my concern. The thousands they employ however don’t deserve to lose their jobs in such manner but Nigeria as a nation doesn’t deserve to be where she is and changes like this are what will indeed take Nigeria to the next step.

I sell raw materials for production. I can tell you for free that this will benefit more people on short and long terms.

For the singular fact that it will give local and indigenous manufacturers opportunities to scale and grow their business, that’s good enough.

A thousand local producers will create more jobs and what not on the long run as oppose to one global brand
