Nwaikpe: Lol. Please don’t make me laugh harder than I already am. 😂 They won’t be the first nor the last. But it would do you good to focus all that energy on waiting for another man’s downfall to help yourself rise up. |

CartelKenneth: Nope. We evolved from apes and God created whites. Too many things point in direction of my argument. Cleanliness is next to Godliness they say. If God was to come down today, He definitely won’t come to Africa. 2 Likes |

MasterTeeUSA: Oga, you just typed nonsense. I didn’t insult you; I just said you sounded like a kid and you further buttressed my point. You’ve been talking about how Obi should do this and that but I pointed how silly you sounded and you feel insulted then go on to say some more pointless nonsense that has no connection with the initial topic. Grow a pair and some sense while at it. |
Computers / Re: Peter Obi Reacts To Microsoft Shutting Down Its Lagos Innovation Centre by Winnin009: 8:15am On May 09 |
Slytiger: Omo, you guys comparing this to laying off of staffs?! Are you guys daft or what? Companies lay-off staffs all the time to reemploy even more. MTN and Airtel laid off thousands about couple of years ago. Now a company pulled out of your nation totally; kindly send a post of Microsoft or google folding up or pulling out of said nations?! |
Computers / Re: Peter Obi Reacts To Microsoft Shutting Down Its Lagos Innovation Centre by Winnin009: 7:58am On May 09 |
MasterTeeUSA: You’re just sounding like a kid. Obi should do what exactly?! Yes he said we should move from consumption to production. You’re sounding like that means one should go about setting up industries to employ people. You speaking of Obi importing and all that BS The ports are on ground but the policies are stifling. Is it Obi that will put policies on ground too since he already knows how to import? Switching us from the consumers we are in to even bigger consumers is exactly why companies are pulling out and it’s all in our economic policies. I mean; look at electricity. Handling things like electricity is the first step to move from consumers to producers instead; the government increases the tariff and put no new infrastructure to justify the increase. Obi has repeatedly said that but you just choose to listen selectively. |

stonemasonn: Lol. The same way the war in Ukraine is the cause for petroleum products increase in prices. Smh. By the way, they didn’t downsize; they pulled out entirely. Stop distorting facts. |

In4matic: My bro, God bless you for this breakdown. However, be rest assured that the airheads won’t get it. The smallest indomie sachet is 1% of the current minimum wage. The average Nigerian can’t afford indomitable or spaghetti 500g. 615 or nothing |
Politics / Re: Minimum Wage: Labour Fires Back At Governors by Winnin009: 8:01am On May 05 |
Tijani009: Yeah. The private sector would take a hit but they’ll adjust. If the government provides financial aids through bank loans and the companies also will systematically increase the quality and value of their products and services. Overall, with such amount as minimum wage, people can avoid to buy more things at even higher rates or prices. |
Politics / Re: Minimum Wage: Labour Fires Back At Governors by Winnin009: 7:57am On May 05 |
OPICANTO2223: Omo, this thing you just mentioned go far o. I’ve never been in public service but I’ve been in private service in at least two multinationals. Even in these multinationals, they have ghost staffs. Like my branch in one instance was a zonal branch. It had hundreds of ghost workers that I could account for; just imagine the ones I can’t account for. |

Politics / Re: Lagos Reassures Residents Of Safety by Winnin009: 6:27am On May 05 |
Dbegining: You don’t see the folly in your statement. Lol. You literally compared a small part of a state to a whole state. Jos is one part of Plateau, same with the Kaduna city you mentioned. Kindly be honest with yourself and compare Plateau state with Lagos or compare Jos with Ikeja. |

nairalanda1: Of course there was a moon then but look at all the craters on the moon; they are from asteroid impacts over time. Now think for a moment that all those made it to earth. |
Science/Technology / Re: What Would Happen If There Were No Moon? (Photos) by Winnin009: 9:15am On May 04 |
Blakjewelry: Your eagerness to call thousands of scientists and professionals that believe in the theory of creation newbies in a matter that you don’t fully understand shows how unread you are about this. They are all theories. If you can understand that, then you’ll get that even your stand or choice of believe is merely just a belief, a theory and not fact. |

agabusta: Indeed nothing stops the government from building new roads. It’s always a welcomed development. But let me ask you this; try to be unbiased with your reply and you don’t have to reply me but be honest with yourself: I have six kids. All six are out of school, three are critically ill and the other three, are not ill but severely malnourished. God blesses me and I make some lil money. Next thing you see; my wife is pregnant with a seventh child while I already have six that need urgent attention. What will you call me? |

Effects of our halfbaked educational system. Masses can’t understand basic statements. How on earth can one interpret that to mean Lagos increased minimum wage. It was clearly written that it was a Lagos govt intervention which began in January. 1 Like |

nams77: Change is painful but necessary. This transition was long coming and it’s here. The tax returns isn’t much of my concern. The thousands they employ however don’t deserve to lose their jobs in such manner but Nigeria as a nation doesn’t deserve to be where she is and changes like this are what will indeed take Nigeria to the next step. I sell raw materials for production. I can tell you for free that this will benefit more people on short and long terms. For the singular fact that it will give local and indigenous manufacturers opportunities to scale and grow their business, that’s good enough. A thousand local producers will create more jobs and what not on the long run as oppose to one global brand |
