No bro. I submitted all necessary documents in 2017. The pension desk officer in my father's place of work keeps saying they have not heard anything from Abuja yet. I dont even know how to go about it anymore.
If you know anybody in his office, try and talk to him/her. You can get a linkage to someone that will help you to process it fast

Funds has been released in the sum of 11 billion, but I don't think that they've started disbursement

Batch 87 that they've paid up to is for accrued rights for government official that started work before 2004 and the other batch 83 is for death benefits.
Hopefully, the should get to batch 90 and 86 respectively before the end of the year

[quote author=livewithpurpose post=96415813]I contacted them on Twitter and this is what Pencom said "Contributions Portion of Death Benefits: Up to (Batch 87) has been paid. Accrued Death Benefits: Up to (Batch 83) has been paid. Reason for delays is due to lack of funding from the Federal Government. But PenCom is working assiduously towards getting the Federal Government to release the funds."

Now I'm confused between the two.
I was talking of accrued right. I went to their office in Oduduwa creasent. I don't know the batch for death benefit yet
Investment / Re: How Pension Managers Are Cheating Nigerians by Winter12: 12:55pm On Oct 30, 2020
Everyone on accrued rights should follow up on their pfa , they dont usually submit the full required documents causing delays. They are in batch 87. Same thing happened to me also.

Winter12:
Go there with the documents and if they refuse to attend to you report them to pencom

When did your dad pass on and when did you start the process?

He passed in in March 2010 and I completed the processing in November 2018. We've actually gotten his contributory , but haven't gotten the accrued rights. He was placed on batch 82 and stanbic are telling me that they haven't received it. He worked with university of Jos till 2006

Payment of death benefit is the sole responsibility of PENCOM and not the PFA. Have you done the documentation? If Yes, which month & year did you submit the documents? I need this info to find out the batch you are being placed. However, PENCOM paid batch 72 on 17th of May, 2019. So the next batch, 73, is currently being processed for payment anytime soon.
which batch are they now paying?
Do someone need to submit another application after submitting for the dead notification and accrued right. Do we need to still submit application for withdrawal?
