Yes you can correct that of NIN by going to the place you got your NIN, tell them you want to do correction of name, you will be asked to pay to the bank mostly through remitta, and you will tell them the appropriate arraignment.

But it might take up to 6 to 12 months before it will be ready,

If u didn't submit ur nin with nimc card, u wouldn't get the pin. Call the pfa

It means ur pfa submitted ur documents 3rd of this month after vetting all ur documents like conforming the LOA from the court of law and also the death certificate.
But that documentation shows that they might have reach batch 100 and ur contributory is ready as the account as been reconciled.

I feel like I have ruined my life. They were suppose to update u on every step u take

PENSION MANAGER INCOMPETENCE
I will like to report the incompetence of stanbic ibtc pension managers. I submitted an application of withdrawals of additional fund since 7 days ago, up till date, I haven't gotten an approval.
Furthermore, I know that it takes within 5 days for pencom to give approval. To this, I can say it's either stanbic is incompetence or they are delaying .

I just reported stanbic incompetence and said how they always delay in sending or checking someone application. Copied pencom and the magic happened

That's what I suspect also. Because pencom approval takes five days max

They've sorted the LOA, remaining the death certificate.

It has taken more than 7 working days since they have sent it to pencom for approval.
I went there twice and they were claiming that they only saw my mail. I messaged and copied pencom, if u see the way they replied with speed. It was surprising .
They now apologized and said its pencom approval that's delaying them

Write a message and copy pencom. They will confirm to have received the payment at once

Accrued Right have been paid up to batch 97. Most PFAs are now using another form of delay tactics that PENCOM still need approval before they process the payment.

That's what they said for mine also. But I know that pencom approval doesn't take more than 5 days. After approval, it takes just 48 hours for the pension fund custodian to pay the money into designated acct
