Plants are living things and they don't live for themselves. They live so we could eat. We'd starve to death if plants were selfless and decided not to grow because they didn't want to be eaten.

imagine a world where everyone was equally rich. So much money chasing nothing no one would want to render any form of service to you, because you're all rich.
