Food / Re: ₦15k Yam In Ekiti: Fair Deal? (See Photos) by wis3(m): 10:36pm On Jul 28
Kukutente23:

A tuber of yam is 5k minimum in Abuja. You wey don travel wey dey claim say Ekiti get yam pad z Benue. Nor be craze be dat?
A tuber of yam costs less in Ekiti. You have serious comprehension issues. I've reiterated this over and over again. Niger, Benue and Taraba were producing the most populous when it comes to yam farming but that is not the case today. Yam is cheaper in Ekiti because you can get a reasonably large tuber for 2k. I know this because I have people who travel down west and buy in trucks. So I want to understand you correctly. If a tuberof yam in Abuja, which you claims produces more yams than ekiti goes for 5k. How much would someone buy yam if there's no one farming yam in Abuja? 10k a tuber maybe? 😀 You are arguments are just outright baseless and holds no water.

Kukutente23:

So you think yam is expensive in Abuja because they don't have yam farmers abi
Oga shift. You don't know anything. Google gbagyi people who are the Abuja indigenes
How much is a tuber of yam in Abuja? I wouldn't even expect you to know because you're hold up somewhere and have probably never travelled outside your region. You're so sure... So sure of nothing.. try dey travel.

Have you ever been to birnin gwari? Have you been to Garatu, Mekira, Munya, Gulu in Niger state? Have you been to Igede side of Benue? They are still farming yams till tomorrow. So don't use the things you hear on radio to judge what's on ground.
Except you want to claim that bandits have taken over more than one third of the two states. Abuja even has more yams than Ekiti. What the hell are you saying?
Birnin Gwari is in Kaduna state where I live. I ply the route alot. Going by you assertion that more yams are produced in Abuja than in Ekiti, shouldn't yam be cheaper in Abuja than in Ekiti? 😅 Do you know how much a tuber of yam cost in Abuja?
Food / Re: ₦15k Yam In Ekiti: Fair Deal? (See Photos) by wis3(m): 8:59pm On Jul 28
Kukutente23:

As someone who has travelled? What is the size of Ekiti compared to Niger and Benue? Ekiti is not even up to a third of both states in terms of size.
Besides that, is there any yam market as big as Zaki Ibiam Yam market in Ekiti? Have you been to yam Market in Garatu before in Niger?
Even on the internet, Benue is the largest yam producing state in Nigeria. So you're the one battling myopia
Why's so hard for you to understand things are not as they used to be? People are getting abducted on their farms. Some are made to pay levies before they use their farmlands? A very simple instance. Birnin Gwari local government area of Kaduna is very popular and known back in the days for farming beans but today it's a dead zone. Again. You clearly don't go out alot or travel much because you can't afford to. So I can understand your ignorance 🌝

Kukutente23:

Yam can't be cheaper in Ekiti than Benue. Cool it with all the talk of insecurity. Yam has always been transported from Niger, Benue and Abuja gwari villages to Lagos. Where was Ekiti then?
And stop advertising your ignorance. Almost ALL states farm Yam in Nigeria
You don't just sit down in your little space and imagine things in your small head. I've travelled all 19 states in the North so I'm writing from experience. Niger, Benue and Taraba have always been some of the largest producers of yam in Nigeria but in recent times, this hasn't been the case due to the insecurity challenges the North is faced with. There's plenty f farming communities in parts of Ado in Ekiti. I can't change your mind if you cannot afford to travel to these places. Na inexposure; if there's a word like that dey worry you😏

In your dull mind, yam is cheaper in ekiti than North abi?
When we tell you to move around, you'll sit in your hamlet writing rubbish.
Yam is cheaper in Ekiti. Quit arguing blindly. Only place that are known for farming Yam in the North are Taraba, Niger and benue. Most them haven't been able to go to their farms due to insecurity

No traditional religion amount to 51%. Ode
Learn to read. Otondo. What part of my post did i mention traditionalists making up 51% of the Nigerian population? Always in a hurry to make a fool of yourself. undecided

Traditional and others.. 1%

Christians 51%

Nigeria must be great
Traditionalista account for at least 10% of the population in Nigeria. I know certain regions and places where neither Christianity nor Islam is practiced. Each house has it's shrine. There are more Muslims than Christians in Nigeria.

I know a military contractor here in West who for as little as $1m USD, he would rid the North off bandits and terrorists within as little as two months. Him and just 200 men he will train. The rest will be handled by drones and UAVs.....

I personally have seen some of his acts in several African Countries.

If you guys can crowd full, let me know so I can open a channel of communication! Otherwise, y'all should stay safe and not get killed or kidnapped!
Te truth of matter is these terrorists, bandits are not operating om their own. Alot of people in government past and present are involved.

Russia with all of it's landmass is not battling terrorism and banditry like we are having today. We must call this for what it is. Our leaders have failed us and each time an opportunity presents itself to select the right people to represent us, we end up electing people who are even worse than their predecessors. Nigeria is a failed state and nothing's going to change about it. Not anytime soon at least.

That's not the point. The point is this is always happening are they're not putting in majors in place to stop it. Look at the jos massacre that happened during the yuletide period. Or the innocent people that were mistakenly bombed by our military in Kaduna. We should cal this out for what it is. These guys are incompetent, docile amd useley. We have no need for them. If Abuja the capital of the nation is at mercy of kidnappers, what's the fate of people who are in other states?
