PoliticsWhy Buhari Will Not Get 60% In Northern Nigeria Votes by wise2odd(op): 7:41pm On Feb 21, 2019
despite the fact we regard the north Muslim region. 100% of the population are not Muslim.

there are about 30% Christian in northern Nigeria and another 10% non Muslim and of other traditional Faith.

these 40% people will not vote buhari. if we should add the Shiite Muslim and other Muslim that has rejected buhari it will put buhari performance below 40%.

atiku is expected to enjoy 70% from the southern votes.

it surprise's me that there are people still supporting buhari. its a shocker that osibanjo who they regarded as a conductor or coordinator still campaigning for buhari for a mere promise of 2023 presidency in detriment of thansand of life lost and millions of Nigeria suffering it would never happened. its only a wishful thinking.

grin all election conducted in African nation have been observed by foreign commissions even with people attracted from Nigeria. Jonathan have played a lead roles in that even when the observers didn't show support to the incumbent they still went there to do their job. why are APC against international observers? its very clear for all to see that they want to forced themselves to power.

what ever happened here affect these foreign nations. Nigerians flee daily to their countries to cause a lot of problem there. look at Ghana for example. Nigerians are giving them problem there. so why won't Ghanaian observer come to witness the election that would bring stability and reduce their problem with Nigerians in their countries.

Nigeria was a British creation and Nigerians never agreed to live together but it was forces on us. and everything happening here should be their concern. to know if we are a sovereign nation we should go for a referendum and let Nigeria decide how to live their life before talking about sovereignty.

is it not a shame that buhari supporters are uneducated? zombie and illiterate fan base. and its something the president can be proud of. why should the uneducated people in the country decide for the future for the educated?

no wonder the country is heading the wrong way. and we keep on complaining nothing is working. shouldn't there be an election reform and amendment for the basic requirement for a primary 6 certificate for anyone to be eligible to vote?

grandstar:
Truth be told is that majority of Buhari's supporters are offline as they are uneducated. And he has a massive fan base.

The Northwest and Northeast are Buhari's and voter numbers there are huge.

The North Central should be in Atiku's favour as well as Southeast and Southsouth. Southwest is 50/50 with probably a marginal win for Buhari.

However Buhari has lost lots of supporters and many voting for Atiku on Saturday were previously Buhari's .

Buhari's real edge again is the massive base he has up North and their passionate voting pattern unlike in other parts.

Anyway, Buhari only won by 2.5m votes and with the loss of large number of supporters, there might be an upset this Saturday.
