Two things could possibly be:
1. Either your university/polytechnic is not accredited with ICAN or
2. You applied for wrong exemption by not first finding out if your degree/diploma qualified you for such exemption.

I would advice you register next year, cos the moment ICAN give you student registration number, you will start paying for student subscription wther you sit for exam or not.

I was told when one writes an fails one course, he repeats all, how true is dis? Or how is it normally done?

Not true.. one only rewrite the failed paper, but the failed paper must be passed within 10 diets for folks at the professional level and if not one will forfeits all passed papers and retake all the papers at the level again.

Sure! you can do your induction in November in as much as you met the relevant accounting related working experience.

I called the number in the message, the guys wasn't direct.....he only said it is a human resource company that I should come tomao.
Not going tho. I evn searched for the company, it is an oversea company with no Nigeria office........A lady here on nairaland in 2015 also got the same kind of message, she asked for people's view ........she was told at that time that it is GNLD.
won't be going tomao......the notice is short.

This issue of ICAN ACA is quite confusing, some got favorable evaluation while some did not, I am planning to do my ECA and really confused now, as I only have ICAN ATS and ICAN ACA (new syllabus). I think it would be better if WES can throw more light on this issue of ICAN ACA evaluation. I hoping to see if anyone has done the evaluation of recent.

Qualifying for the degree

To be awarded the Oxford Brookes BSc (Hons) in Applied Accounting you must:

Be registered with Oxford Brookes University ie have opted-in to the BSc degree scheme
Hold a recognised English language qualification certificate and transcript (if applicable), which must be submitted and approved by ACCA, before passing F7, F8 and F9. For more information, please download the Recognised English language qualifications document from the 'Related documents' section of this page
Pass the three ACCA Fundamentals papers F7, F8 and F9 and pass (or gain exemption from) other papers as required to successfully complete all nine Fundamentals level papers at least two months prior to the start of the submission period in which the student is seeking to submit
Complete the ACCA Ethics and Professional Skills module according to the Research and Analysis Project submission dates
Complete and pass the Oxford Brookes University Research and Analysis Project.

If you are exempt from any paper from F1-F9 based on a qualification more than 10 years old, you would be required to forfeit all of the exemptions in order to opt in to the degree programme.

The degree must be completed within 10 years of the earliest date of your first examination pass or the date of your first ACCA exemption being granted otherwise your eligibility will be withdrawn.
