Nigerian music producer, Austynobeatz took to social media to share how he returned the sum of N4.5million that was mistakenly transferred into his bank account.Austynobeatz said, he was first tempted to claim the money for himself as advised by friends, but later felt it could actually be a test from God.

His post read:

“So apparently someone I didn’t know sent me 4.5million by mistake to my access account and I returned it back , At first I was wondering which of my clients would have sent money for a project without telling me, not until I got a notification, hmm this money doesn’t belong to me, Spoke to some friends majority said “ Guy God don send you natural wire transfer no dull your self “. That sounded exciting at this time of the year 4.5m.

To cut the story short I returned the money back, I don’t even know if It was a test from God, All I know is there’s a reward for every good deeds. Sooner or Later I’ll find out.But I no go lie that money for sweet my belle if one of my partners had sent it to me”.

Reacting to the death of the ex-beauty queen,he wrote;

“Just heard about the ex-beauty queen who died during a buttock enlargement procedure in Lagos. So Sad. And what a terrible way to go.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) can issue a certificate of return to Sen Ademola Adeleke of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) only if the embattled governor of Osun State, Gboyega Oyetola fails to appeal the judgment of the tribunal that sacked him within 21 days, the commission said yesterday.

The Osun State governorship election petition tribunal sitting in Abuja had last week Friday in a split decision of two to one, nullified the election of Oyetola of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and declared Adeleke winner of of the 2018 gubernatorial election.

Justice Peter Obiora who delivered the majority judgment of the tribunal ordered INEC to immediately issue a fresh certificate of return to Adeleke as the lawful and validly elected governor of Osun State, after declaring the September 27, 2018 re-run election as illegal.

Yesterday, rumours went round the social media with pictures suggesting INEC issued a certificate of return to Adeleke.

But going by Section 143(1) of the Electoral Act 2010 as amended, a candidate whose election is set aside has a period of 21days from the date of the decision of the court to appeal against such a ruling.

We reports that if Oyetola fails to appeal the judgment, INEC will have no option than to issue a certificate of return to Adeleke after the 21 days window expired.

“The commission has not issued any new certificate in relation to Osun State,” INEC National Commissioner and chairman, Information and Voter Education Committee, Barr Festus Okoye told us while debunking rumours that Adeleke has been issued a certificate of return.“

Section 143(1) of the Electoral Act gives a candidate whose election is set aside a period of 21days from the date of the decision to appeal against such a decision,” Okoye said while explaining why the commission can’t issue a certificate of return to Adeleke.“

The person is entitled to remain in office pending the determination of the appeal. The commission will only issue the certificate if appeal is not lodged within 21 days. The commission has not issued any new certificate in relation to Osun State,” Okoye added

The Petition filed by Atiku Abubakar before the Presidential Election Petitions Tribunal in Abuja against the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, Buhari and the APC, tends to state that he defeated Buhari.

INEC announced on February 27, 2019 that Buhari of the APC won the election with 15,191,847 against Atiku of the PDP whom it said polled 11,262,978 votes.

Meanwhile, the 139-page petition shows that “from the data in the 1st respondent’s ( INEC’s) server … the true, actual and correct results ” from “state to state computation” showed that the PDP presidential candidate polled a total of 18,356,732 votes to defeat Buhari whom they said scored 16,741,430 votes.

However, the petition shows that the PDP presidential candidate defeated Buhari with 1,615,302 votes which doesn’t include Rivers State.

Nollywood actor, Babatunde Omidina aka Baba Suwe, today paid a visit to the Minister of Health, Isaac Adewole, in Abuja.

The visit came weeks after he went public to solicit for funds to treat an undisclosed ailment that has plagued him for years.

Baba Suwe has so far received donations from Vice President Yemi Osinbajo who gave N1million towards his treatment.

Popular clergywoman also donated N10 million towards his medical care.
