People say Nigeria is a bad place to do business, some others call it a dry place, a country without opportunity for wealth.

Suffice to say, most Nigerians don’t believe they could discover profitable business ideas in Nigeria

I also had the same perception for a long time but that has changed now. Many thanks to business research tools available today.

Career / Career Prospects: Overcome Low Self Esteem & Shyness Now by wisemaster(m): 6:09pm On Aug 05, 2018
Are you shy? Do you have difficulty coping with people or situations? Then I have good news for you. You do not have to suffer from shyness and you should not feel insecure and fear that you are being judged with every step you take.

Winning the war with shyness takes practice, but is definitely well worth the effort as the result is increasing confidence and self esteem. Wake up feeling good about yourself, able to face the world with confidence and security and the knowing that no feeling of shyness can come in your way of achieving your desires.

Here are some suggestions of techniques on how to overcome your shyness:

1. Every morning, as soon as you get up, get in front of a mirror and say out loud “I feel terrific! I feel terrific! I feel terrific!” Repeat this affirmation with enthusiasm at least ten times everyday until it’s ingrained into your subconscious mind. The results will amaze you.

2. Feel good about yourself. Look your best. Dress up more often. This gives you an extra feeling of confidence and self esteem. On its own just knowing that you look good will boost your confidence and reinforce with others that there are things about you that are worth getting to know.

3. Take a risk at least once a day. It’s very invigorating and conquering fears by taking risks helps you grow in confidence and self esteem. Start with small risks and fears and as you overcome them move onto bigger things. There’s nothing you cannot do. Be confident in knowing that change can only help you grow, and boost your self confidence.

4. Rejection is a fact of life that everyone experiences. It is rarely you that is being rejected. If you are rejected, for example if you ask someone for a date, remember that everyone has different likes and dislikes. You may be attracted to one type of person and not others. The same applies to other people and you are probably just not their type. That does not devalue you in any way. Accept this and know that you will get over it. Never take it personally and keep in mind that if people reject you it is because of their own likes and dislikes and not because of who you are. You are equally entitled to reject others because of your likes and dislikes.

Religion / Understanding Bible Prophecies From The Old Testament by wisemaster(m): 2:15am On Aug 05, 2018
With so many things going on in this world today, we feel that the Bible has no connections at all in present time. This article will explain, and reveal to you that the Bible The Word Of The Living God, has more to do with our time, more than ever before. In the first three chapters of Genesis, it shows how Adam and Eve, were taken out of the Garden due to sin, and taken away from the Holy presence of God. The good news is that the book of Revelation has the keys that will unlock Heavens gates, and enter us Back into paradise, where we will be able to live with Jesus the Son of God, and the King of Kings Forever, and
Ever!

However, a lot of us today do not understand the book of Revelations, and we then translate it into our own interpretation. 2 Peter 1:20 clearly says that “Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private
interpretation.”

So if it is not of private interpretation then how can I as an
individual understand Bible Prophecy?
1. Before Opening The Bible always say a word of prayer, and ask the Lord to provide you with wisdom, and understanding. In James 1:5 it says that “If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, and it shall be given him.” So how do you know that you will be given the wisdom that you have prayed for? Numbers 23:19 says that “God is not a man, that he should lie.”
2. Search the Scriptures. “Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.” John 5:39 In this scripture Jesus admonishes us to search the scriptures because the scriptures testify of Him Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God. The one that has died for our sins.

To understand the Prophecies of Revelation. We must first have a background. To obtain that background we must have knowledge of the Old Testament. There are a lot of people that says that the Old Testament has nothing to do with the New Testament. If you do not understand the Old Testament then you will never understand the New. There are 404 verses found in the book Of Revelation. Out of the 404 verses of the book, 278 verses refer to other stories, and prophecies in the Old Testament. The Old Testament is a platform for the first coming of Jesus. It sets the stage, and gives us examples of things
that would happen to Jesus when He comes, in the New Testament.

In the Old Testament we will review two stories, and then refer to them in the New Testament, and how they related to the Life of Jesus.

First we will review the story of Joseph. Joseph was one of 12 brothers. (Gen. 37:9 & Gen. 42:13) Joseph had his robe taken away from him; his brothers placed him into a pit where he did not have any food or water. Joseph was then sold for the price of slave.(Gen. 37:28) After he was sold, his brothers took his coat, and dipped it into blood.(Gen. 37:32) Even though Joseph went through this ordeal he still came out alive. What Joseph, and his brothers did not know was that God had a greater plan in store for them. God later used Joseph to save his family during the time of famine in the land of Egypt.

Now we will review the Life of Jesus, in the New Testament, and
see how it relates to the story of Joseph in the Old Testament.

Jesus had 12 disciples. (Matt. 11:1) Judas sold Jesus for the price of a slave, or 30 pieces of silver. (Matt. 27:3) Once Jesus was in the hands of the Chief Priests and Pilate, He was beaten and his clothes were taken away from him, which was splattered with his own blood. (Matt. 27:31) Before Jesus died he prayed for those who crucified him, and said “Father Forgive them for they no not what they have done.” (Luke 23:32) God too had a plan for Jesus. He came to save the world from sin.

Here in these two stories you will see that the prophecy was predicted in the life Of Joseph, and was fulfilled in the life Of Jesus Christ.

Some similarities that are found here are:
1. Both Joseph, and Jesus were sold as a slave.
2. Both, had their garments taken away from them.
3. Both forgave those who had sinned against them.

The Second Story that we will review is of Abraham, and Isaac. Isaac was a special child because Abraham’s wife Sarah could not have children, and in their old age God Blessed Abraham, and Sarah with a son, Isaac. (Gen. 21:3) God, testing Abraham’s faith, and told him to sacrifice his only son on the alter, as a burnt offering. (Gen. 22:2) Isaac, then carried the wood on his back for the alter. (Gen. 22:6) When they reached the mountain that the Lord had specified, Abraham, then made an alter, and tied Isaac to it. When he was ready to slay his son, he heard a Angels voice from heaven saying “Abraham, Abraham Do not lay a hand upon that lad, and do not do anything to him. (Gen.22: 9 – 12) With thanksgiving, and praise, Abraham, lifted his eyes, and saw a ram caught in a thicket by his horns. Abraham took the ram, and offered it up as a burnt offering instead of his son. (Gen. 22:13)

Now we will compare the story of Abraham, and Isaac to the Story of Jesus, and God the Father. As Isaac had to carry the wood to the alter, so did Jesus carry wood, He carried the Cross. When Jesus died, he had a crown of thorns upon his head. (Matt. 27:29)

This story of Abraham, and Isaac is one of Importance. God knew that one day He too have to offer his Son as a sacrifice, a ransom, to pay for the price of sin. “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” John 3:16 I cannot even begin to imagine the pain that God the Father felt for his son dying on the cross. “But all this was done, that the scriptures of the prophets might be fulfilled.” Matt. 26:56

All I can say is what a loving God we serve! He looked beyond all selfishness, and gave his only son for the sins of mankind.

So as you can see here with the two examples, I have given, a knowledge of the Old Testament is needed to open the stories or keys of the New Testament. If you are trying to understand Bible Prophecy then you will need to have a background. If you want to understand what is going, on in the world today, and try to unlock Bible Prophecy, then you need to know the history of the bible from the Old Testament.

I Pray that everyone that reads this article will be Blessed in the Name of Jesus!
Religion / Christian Books: Our Ways To God by wisemaster(m): 2:08am On Aug 05, 2018
The ultimate Christian book is the Bible. Next to it are the books published specifically as supplements of Christian theology. Individual Christian books that allow both the authors and the readers to explore the realms of Christianity. To interpret philosophical questions and virtually all other things that concern the knowledge on Christian theology.

What there is to it for becoming Christians is usually the most common topic in the majority of Christian books along with all the fields of studies that Christianity and Christian doctrines cover.

Well-written Christian books, poems, articles, and selections have tremendous effects on one’s personality and may lead to great changes in a person’s points of view. These are powerful instruments for spiritual growth for the person reading them.

Christianity is primarily defined as belief on a Supreme Being, specifically Jesus Christ as humanity’s savior. Christians on the other hand, are people who have personal relationship with God. This same relationship has become the greater focus in producing Christian writings.

These books are the materialized responses of man to his Living God. As it is, the greatest and the majority of in-print materials with regards to Christianity are often encircling on the topic about his relationship with the Creator. God is the Supreme Writer of history and the little gods (or the Christians) are the writers of their personal stories with God as the central character.

One reputed source of inspirations that led authors to write their Christian readings, is the Bible. From here did the foundations of theology came from, supported by the scriptures that have been discovered over the centuries, and from here too did the geniuses of Christian readings received and based their best sellers.

This is no miracle since the Bible had been circulating the world since Christianity begun. And copies of it has reached even the remotest areas of the world and the most neglected sections of the societies.

For those who love and have some background on Christian readings, they may identify such books because they often include the following:

– citations and doctrines
– beliefs and dogmas
– Christian manifestos
– fundamentals of Christianity
– true to life stories
– inspirational anecdotes
– meditations and reflections
– aid to prayers
– building personal relationships with God
– Christian theology and prophecies
– articles and news as they relate to predictions
– personal growth and recovery
– personal health
– social issues
– prayers and meditations
– lifestyle management
– wisdom on life
– selections on ministry, discipleship, evangelism, fellowship and worship
– biographies
– fictions, children books and the likes
– guidelines for Christian living and a variety of other things.

Christian books were written out of extraordinary and not so extraordinary encounters. You may find some of them non-pleasing because many reveal philosophies that are against to your personal perspectives. However, this does not negate the fact the larger portion of these reading touches the heart. Most are known to have created deep and great changes among their readers. Not only can people relate with the author’s ideas, we are also lead to recreate in us broader sense of religion and enlightenment. These are by and large mind openers. They expose us to what should be believed in and trusted upon.

We are moved by what we read. Why? Because these are tales of personal experiences with the Being we call GOD.
Religion / Duterte Vows To Resign If Anybody Can Prove God Exists by wisemaster(m): 11:24pm On Jul 07, 2018
The Philippine president, who recently sparked outrage for calling God stupid, has courted new controversy in his largely Roman Catholic country by saying he will resign if anybody can prove that God exists.

President Rodrigo Duterte, who has had a thorny relationship with the church, questioned anew in a speech late Friday some of the basic tenets of the Catholic faith, including the concept of original sin, which he said taints even innocent infants and can only be removed through baptism in a church for a fee.

“Where is the logic of God there?” Duterte asked in a speech at the opening of a science and technology event in southern Davao city.

Religion / Re: Is It A Sacrilege To Name A Child "JESUS"? by wisemaster(m): 11:21am On Apr 22, 2018
It depends on your motive for wanting to name your child Jesus.

But beware, naming your child Jesus does not excuse him from sin and does not also mean automatic ticket to heaven.

Infact, if care is not taken, he may bear Jesus and become one of the greatest criminals of all times. That's the truth.

Remember the seven sons of sceva. So it's not about the Name but about vessel calling it or bearing it. The devil knows the real Jesus anyday.

This man is a shameless ingrate. I tell you, if he had married that girl in the chat, he would be saying worse by now.

Blame him! For a man to rant and derogate his wife this way makes him wicked and a hardened unrepentant miscreant.

He can help her if he wanted. There was something he saw when he defied all odds and got married to her in the beginning. If that thing is no longer there and they are not able to restore it through prayer and hardwork, then they both have failed in their responsibilities to each other.

Folks, don't envisage divorce ever. Look before you leap. Divorce may get you divorced in the kingdom of God too.

Computers / My View About GLO 'FREE DATA' Day by wisemaster(m): 11:48am On Sep 19, 2017
It's a pity that young Nigerians are jubilating over 200MB being offered by glo. Initially, i thought it was 200GB, but on closer look and after a diligent search and confirmation, i found out that the hype is all about 200MB. So where is the 'free data day' in that?. Blogs are agog, the news is at every nook and corner of the internet and everyone seems so excited as if the 'free data' is synonymous to a free ticket to heaven when you die.

Let's get this straight. The 'free data' is not free after all. Are there no pre-qualification criteria before you can be enrolled? Does the criteria not involve you spending money? If you have fallen for this business crap then you obviously need help. You have just been scammed professionally.

It shows the level of slavery this country has plunged our youths into. If you are part of this jubilation, i pity you. You may have just lost value and perhaps your identity.

Nigerian youths should wise-up. Ourmumudondo.
