Spot on. I think the main reason for this is the anonymous nature. If that is taken away things would really change. Few vile people would want their faces to be seen. Notwithstanding twitter and these other forums have some people that are consistently vile eg Sugabelle.

Here is the deal man... Nairaland is a reflection of the true intent and nature of this beings cause it’s a faceless forum while twitter has an ID hence the pretence.. same people on Twitter are same people on nairaland with few exceptions

Lol... Nairaland sure knows how to mess up with one's mindset. Truth be told, i was once a tribalist, thanks to nairaland (you can check my earlier topics). Till i decided to check out other better forums.
The only good and standing side of this forum is the Travel and family section, the rest are just not it.

The nairaland comments are always the positive. Like this place is a breeding ground for tribalists and illiterates.
