officialfestus:Thank you for the succinct answers. I'd love to start building and would really appreciate your help on: 1. How to get the soldering iron you now currently use. The soldering aspect is a major challenge for me. I'm good with soldering onboard but this 18650 has proven to be a major challenge 2. Where to outsource quality cells at affordable prices 3. BMS for my built pack |
officialfestus:Congrat ![]() Short one... Where did you buy your lithium cells? Were they 18650 cylindrical li cells, if yes how did you solder each cell together? I can't seem to successfully solder two 18650 together in a firm connection using regular soldering iron and solder lead |
princemillla:Thee phone was working finep until I removed the screen to test another iPhone . Un restoring back the screen to the former phone, the phone nolonger comes up. It wouldn't power on, charge or show any sign of life. So I figured it must be a blown fuse or trister related issue on the board. It's an iPhone 6s plus |
princemillla:Good day boss, please do you base at Ikeja CV or do you know anyone there who is trustworthy to repair iPhone board? |
shopwiser:Lolz! I understand you. Sincerely... Some buyers can be very funny. Ordinary face to face, some buyers will still frustrate a seller and not show up after letting the seller waste his time and money to the desired meeting location. I've had a guy request for a POD for gadget only for dispatch to call in stating the guy has problem with his bank account. Hence could not proceed. Story... Who is responsible for the dispatch cost ( a loss). That's me... So believe me, I understand you but you could have just told him straight up rather than deceiving him and acting as though a dispatch is truly coming to his location. His experience might just be the reason why he isn't sending you an upfront. Lying about "fake transfer" was kinda low . It discredits you further. Happy Easter, sir. |
shopwiser:Oh my goodness! ![]() A simple " sorry I cannot deliver without an upfront delivery payment" could have saved the day. I'm sorry, but you're very cunning. |
Buy an original iTel battery to replace It is noteworthy stating that replacing the battery for this MiFi is not a solution to the charging issue. It is a common problem with this MTN MiFi. I currently use one and had to dismantle and fix the power issue myself. My bet is that the battery that came with it is still functional and doesn't require replacement. Just take it to a phone technician to fix the power and charging issue if you can't do it yourself. Apparently, MTN was experimenting with this particular MiFi model. |
SeeWahala:My goodness... *Can't stop laughing with this comment of yours. |
ReubenE:This is an awesome submission. The truth is many Nigerians supporting the current laxity of the government do so because they've been subjected to suffering for so long that they can no longer tell the difference between SURVIVING and GROWING. "Nigeria will be great again" crew won't understand that great government leads to great policies and decision making which in turn makes for a great environment for citizens to thrive. |
nigerianart:Oh my world.... Your comment made my evening. Can't stop laughing... ![]() |
mzcreativity:I'm sorry that happened to your unit. Your best bet is to take it to a technician (phone repairer) to have it fixed. So many of them can fix bad power banks |
Golan007:So you really can't drive your point home without being emotional and insolently rude about it? Take home for you: Go back to history class and see why and how some governors were impeached in the past since the birth of democracy. When you become a President some day, you should keep praising your politicians and be hailing them while you play powerless as a President. Then let's see who is more toothless. You or a bulldog without teeth? |
Golan007:Lolz! Immunity! Indeed! Thanks for indirectly stating that the constitution offers provision for Immunity at the face of glaring corruption. What has tribal war got to do with doing the right thing? Are you trying to say playing politics with the future of youths and the lives of unhappy citizens by ignoring the abuse of power should be commended as an act of diplomacy and peace keeping? My friend, you better wake up now if you've been sleeping already. You people should stop painting the Nigerian President as a man without choice and Power when it comes to dealing with governors. |
Pecoleee345:Your submission here lack substance. So now that I governor earns massively, he should now use his monthly earnings to fund state budget? It's fine as long as he is only spending the billions meant for him but guess what, he spends more than his entitlement.. Look at you making light of a president's political authority and power. Please enlighten me; how do you think bodies like EFCC help the President in a sane nation? Does a president through the Senate keep approving allocation funds to states whose financial record is riddled with irregularities while he folds his arms because in your thought "the only way to ensure accountability is to arrest them by himself"? Finally, educate me: does the constitution provide conditions and modalities for the impeachment of a political leader? There you have it. It doesn't matter how you look at it, a president is not a Figure head. If things are going wrong at States level and nothing is being done at the Federal level, then I do not blame the sitting governors for having a field day. |
Pecoleee345:The reality is that the so called Federal allocation to states isn't even sufficient enough to sustain some states' basic infrastructures like road maintenance not to mention development of mega project to ease unemployment. So it is neither about the allocation in a sense nor about the governor. When a sitting governor embezzles state's fund without fear of sanction from the PRESIDENT, it could only mean one thing... He has a role model at the top - The President |
(b) V+2b = 180 2b = 180 - V b = (180- 360/n)/2 b = (180n - 360)/2(n) b = 180(n-2)/2(n) Finally, b = 90(n-2)/n |
turmacs:No vex... I forgot to divide the sum of interior angle by n. If you do the division, you'd arrive at the correct answer as shown from my solution above. You need to be polite towards people attending to your queries though. ![]() |
But 2b + V = 180 (sum of angles in a triangle) Then V = 180 - ((n-2) X 180)÷n) On simplifying, V = (180n - 180n + 360)÷n V = 360/n |
turmacs:Let one vertex angle be V And One base angle be b then 2b = ((n-2) X 180) + n |
LowKeyManny:Surprisingly, my calculator also displayed the same erroneous answer. According to the calculator, 60 ÷ 5(3) is the same as 60 ÷ 5 × 3. That's like a bug in the computer's algorithm. I'm even surprised that a calculator would throw that up. Check the poster above for his calculator result . See? |
People's failure in solving this problem sterns from the fact that they do not fully understand order of operation (BODMAS). More significantly, they can't tell the difference between: 60 ÷ 5(3) { ...meaning divide 60 by the product of 5 and 3} And... 60 ÷ 5 × 3 { ...meaning divide 60 by 5 then multiply your result by 3} The former still has bracket that must be simplified before the "division" operation according to BODMAS while the latter must be started with division first according to the same BODMAS. The valid answer to the posted problem is 4. Go to court if you don't still agree ![]() |
cappucino925:Oga eedristo is one of the very few phone dealers here who would offer you value for money. He really trust worthy. I got my redmi note 8 from him. No regrets |
Labelle:Mtn's zlt mifi is indeed crappy when it comes to charging. It's high endurance battery made me love it. What I did to mine was; I opened it, checked the input voltage getting to the battery terminals and discovered it was a varying value within the range of 3.5v to around 4.0v. The cell requires a min of 4.2v to fully charge. So I took a diode and created a jump on the positive terminal to the V+ running from the charging port. Problem fixed! Please do not try it if you're not sure about what to do. I believe competent mobile phone technicians can fix it too. So meet them. The mifi is great one, nonetheless. |
Tjra:Well, those diplomatic acts you've termed "acts of weakness" collectively form a reason why there isn't 3rd world war yet. So, I guess the more "pussy-like" world power nations become at retaliating the better for us. |
"Get off your moral horse or moral high ground and observe the times you're in then act accordingly because times have changed"[/quote]Although I neither agree with this sign-off nor support crime. Nonetheless, this one here (below) is disturbingly true: "...Do what you have to do then go legit, a time might come in this country or the world where only those that have money would be afforded rights..." You're really thoughtful but no exposition or logic can justify harm done to another human for the sake of selfishness. The world got to the point it is now because people have always considered crime and fraud as alternatives to achieving success. |
Defaramade:The issue of cell inflation in your power bank is apparently a lithium polymer ish rather than brand related. It happens to most powerbanks irrespective of the brand. I've had a quality New Age and Virgin power bank suffer the same fate. I currently use Romoss. I can confidently tell you that the Romoss is already showing signs of inflation. Although it still works excellently and holds charge as expected. I'm suspecting a capacity drop as the swell becomes conspicuous. |
obinna37:How much is one and where is your location? |
Uyomiya:Lolz! D; This your caption is apt and damn funny |
Lovethy55:Search for Just2endowed on nairaland or Google. He is your sure retailer for Romoss powerbank. I got mine from him |
Norman4real:Thank you "...i'm not understanding again self..." The way people go just dey hype Samsung phone set ehn. Not to mention some useless models. Imagine someone comparing Samsung S7 to Redmi Note 8. It's so funny how some commenters are blaming OP for buying Redmi. Yet, the same set of people were once singing the praises of Xiaomi and her subsidiaries. Personally, I still consider redmi as a brand that offer real value for money compared Sammy or any other brands. The RAM management issues is associated wit the Redmi's MI stock ROM and so has nothing to do with the phone's hardware capacity to multitask. Same issue plagues many other low/mid range models of other brands too. Unfortunatel, the only viable permanent solution is to ROOT and install a Custom ROM or keep hoping for an official OTA update. |
seunny4lif:I have searched but still couldn't find the real e71. The common model in the market is a Chinese variant E71X (I'm not sure I got the variant model right) Poor build, no infrared and very dull display unlike the real E71 |
seunny4lif:I'm still looking for where to buy this model or E72. I've searched but couldn't find. Where and when did you get yours? ![]() |
