Mafia4life: Phone doesn't affect data speed. They are all the same. Since we are in Nigeria with poor network, a phone having its downlink as 22.6Mb/sec will download at the same speed with another phone having 14.4Mb/sec downlink. The reason is due to our ISP. Cowboy made mistake saying that. He must have forgotten that network may favour you today and screw you up the next day

santosslam: i av nt use any of it(Gp2/Tp5) yet but base on paper/user review both phones are equal,for u to choose one,it depends on the brand u prefer,for me i prefer TECNO because they are more established.....tecno has been here 4 many years,who knows if we will still hear Geonee in Nigeria in the next 2 years,i dnt even know if there office exist like tecno.

six one: Dude you only said 2 things about this phone and ended up with the "To me this phone is a Better choice than gionee p2" line. In fact you didn't review it. Gp2 is packed with Bluetooth 4.0 with A2dp while your Tecno is stuffed with outdated Bluetooth 3.0. now lemme brief you on the importance of A2dp. Yesterday I was able to pair with my friends Galaxy s4 while playing virtua tennis. It went smooth and effortless. Something we tried with techno p5 and gionee dream d1 and both couldn't handle. That's one major edge p2 have over p5 amongst a host of others.

Mafia4life: No body is casting the phone. The first users never said the truth. The battery is okay, the display is perfect, the camera is decent compared to Tecno 5.0 pixel. The phone doesn't sound though. Even with blast earpiece. Tecno is louder. The phone lags beyond expected. Nairalanders lied.

evergreen247: I agree with you bro, but in terms of lag yes it will definitely lag because there is a lot app that came with it which needs to be disabled or uninstall, like antivirus and those useless apps and surely the phone Will be lag free With Nova launcher fully optimised, concerning the battery; phones normally drop faster from 100% until some % then it will stabilise and also dat is the first charge I suppose. Well I will surely get this phone soonest and maybe drop my little hints on how to optimise it best, personally I have my reason for gionee but I will also advise this phone is phone of N14,000 let's not approach it with high expectations. Thanks.

dazekid: i just got the tecno p5 today and i must say the phone looks cool....and concerning everybody that is saying p2 lags better check well coz p5 lags too although not ordinarily...i put my 32gb memory card in the phone and it went lag crazy but when i put my 4gb in the phone it was smooth....bottom line:before you complain,know what the problem is...

I just ordered for one, and a friend SERIOUSLY discouraged me from getting it. some of his points were: 1, it's a chinko phone, 2, Tecno touchscreens are bad, 3, you can't do video calling with it, 4, it hangs unnecessarily..... Bottom line, you can't do much with any kind of Tecno phone.
What's your take, pls? Coz I'm already in love with the P5. Thanks.

Mafia4life: I bought Gionee P2 for its internal memory and display. With the way Nairalamders praised the phone's smoothness made me wonder what they meant by smooth. Is it the screen surface these cats praise for being smooth or the operation. If it is the operation. That means they were bribed by Gionee or maybe mine is fake. A phone that started lagging on first day of purchase without installing single app? A phone that it's notification sound lags ( crack due to lags). Maybe I should ignore the perfect display of Gionee P2 and dive into Tecno P5. Am I welcomed?
