It was a really daunting journey, had to take my mind of it at a point. Came back to it early this year. Started disposing of items no longer needed at home with hopes that the approval will happen before the end of the first half of the year. This forum was also comforting, with words of encouragement that was in constant supply. Praying we all will get our good news soon. Thank you

Please what number can i reach them on? PanicButton: Thanks for the check up. Hmmm small news o. So, finally my medicals was passed after doing a second one. I am not sure which was passed actually; the upfront I did in January, or the one I did based on their request. Secondly, I have been calling IRCC weekly for the past three weeks, and each time I call, I am told security is in progress. Every other remains passed save for security (4 weeks and counting) which is taking longer than anticipated. I also got to know that my file has been moved from Montreal to Edmonton after my wife's BIL was updated - probably to finalize who knows, but I wish they could stop moving this file around and just finalize. It is getting to 7 months after my first ppr and six months after spousal addition and I am still waiting. It is so tiring and frustrating, but I am glad there has been a lot of progress on the application since then. Fingers crossed you'd be sorted soon as well. All the best to us.

Congratulations to the PR recipients.
How were you able to submit your remedicals. Was it through your profile or csc portal? |
