DualCore, the rookie web designer is aksing for a solution and not an advice. Dymnyke, you should contact them via email and I believe the mistake will be corrected but you have to upload your web files back into the public_html (root). I once mistakenly deleted my .htacess and then I didn't know how to create another one. I contacted syskay about it but the admin said I should create another one but I didn't know how to do it then. I have to keep boxing them with mails and finally, the .htacess was created by them.

luzoma, that"s the challenge I am having now with them, I can't renew my expired domains...can't get them over the phone and they are not responding to mails on expired domains....jeeze!!!

Well, it appears syskay is back however, you can't expect 100% operation instantly....5 days mess will leave many cases that needs fast calculative attention. All my sites are back expect for the expired ones which I was updated via mail after asking if those sites were actually expired. Send them a mail and GET answers, answering phone calls in the stubble will increase pressure for the already pressurized no1 hosting firm in naija. Nice tact!

Thank God! syskay.com is back, 5 of my websites are up and running now, just remaining one...I almost pay back 30k to a client, and a client almost gave me hypertension. That was too close. I think hosting firms in Nigeria should take a cue from this. No matter the situation, there should be an alternative measure, and syskay should not operate as one team one man hosting wizard. If something bigger happens to him, that means we all lose including him. We should always have a conditional statement "if" in all our business endeavours just like my programmers friends here will love to code it in their IDE'S happily... . So far so good,test of patience is what I can inferred.

I know syskay will come back soonest and I gave some of my clients 3 options; to wait, get a new domain or go by gigalayer.com (wow! giga aggressive)! or last resort pay back their money. For me, its high time I get my WHM even if its for few site I will be rest assure that if its down, most of the site in the world will also be down as well...(signs of end time ).

Finally, good work done syskay, you are superb but don't allow this mess again, please take adequate precaution and if you don't know how, go get yourself pmp training with PMtutors (Dipo Tepede coy) and you will learn about risk management or risk all you have worked for. I just tried out your timely offer. What's EPP code? and you said "this needs to be obtained from the current registrar for authorisation" How do you want us to get this code knowning fully well that syskay.com will not disclose that information.

Ruffai, your tone is hot as if you are waiting for syskay to be in this mess. Your solution is quite good however, you can do well by communicating with syskay admin if this tempoary measure can be allowed to buffer/shelter her firm's mess.

Syskay.com had done us all!! But there must be a way out of this mess. The offering by one Ruffai, promoter of gigalayer hosting firm can be use for tempoary solution?
