Zeezeal7:
Thats fact.....typical black, when he has money, doesn't think of investments, businesses or simply a way to multiply such money. And that's why our elite politicians here prefer to stash their stolen monies rather than invest to employ and bring more money. First thing a black man has money thinks of is to show off, buy expensive cars, clothes, houses and what have you. This mentality applies to every average black person, anywhere in the world. Trying to impress people who don't give a two cents about them. Wallowing in abject poverty at thesame time despite our deluled sense of wealth. So yeah, if we are given the whole money on this planet, the black man will always be coming from behind, playing catch up.
If we weren't even dumb from the start,we wouldn't have allowed the colonial masters invade and exploit us.

It is for the prosecutor to explain why they locking him up and he can only respond to charges leveled against him. That is how courts work. In the meantin he can bring his human rights claim against the DSS and FG, to be at least released on bail. Which he has done but the judges seem to have been bribed by Tinubu and are allow his illegal continued detention.

Dem lock him mouth for court?

PoliticsRe: Ned Nwoko Demands $5 Trillion Reparations, Apology From Colonial Masters by worksmart(m): 5:52am On Aug 19, 2023
$5Trilion would not even cover what the stole from Nigeria this year alone, not to talk of whole of Africa over hundreds of years , before we get to the genocide abuse and enslavement.

There is not enough money in the world to repay us . Let them start with an apology first, return of our stolen artfacts and treasures they are keeping and to stop meddling in our affairs trying to sabotage and economically exploit us and trying to reduce our population.

Lol. If you like, give black Africans all the money in the US federal reserve, they would return to beg for loans after a few years. Rest assured that all that wealth would be squandered and looted in record time.

The British colonized Canada, USA, New Zealand, Australia, Singapore and Hong Kong. Why is is only blacks that are still crying about colonization several decades after independence?

I would abolish the party system and do away with primaries. Everybody should be screened by their constituency to get cleared to contest

Yes it is. It simply means the screeners are riggers.

You the people voting do your own screening. So if you are not happy with your current screening, just screen better next time.

What I love about this road is that it appears to be being built with direct labour and manual labour using concrete. After levelling , there is no need for those expensive trucks and machines, just manpower laying concrete.

This is the way Umahi built his solid roads so cheapily in Ebonyi.

PoliticsRe: Subsidy Removal: FG Shocked Over High Food, Transportation Costs by worksmart(m): 3:14pm On Aug 18, 2023
Average population per state (including FCT) is 6million
My estimate is that 5 trucks would amount to approx 20,000 bags of rice per state
Assume there are average 4 persons persons per household, then we would have average 1.5million households in each state and FCT

That means 20,000 bags for 1.5 m families

Meaning each bag of rice is to be shared by 75 families / households

Who knows the reason there was not enough new notes available maybe there was sabotage somewhere by the opposing politicians certainly corrupt politicians an money criminals were hoarding huge amounts which I supposed needed to be accounted for first before printing more.
We did see truck loads of rotten cash being hoarded in corrupt peoples homes.
Max24:
Was that a redesign or confiscation of people's monies. Was he the first CBN gov to redesign? You asked people to submit their old notes without making the new notes available. He is simply a thief !

PoliticsRe: Godwin Emefiele's removal as Central Bank Nigeria governor & arrest is illegal ? by worksmart(op): 8:27am On Aug 18, 2023
His job is to periodically re-design Naira notes, hardship is not all his fault but also due sabotage of corrupt politicians.
Max24:
So, his job was to make many lose their businesses and cause death? If you are one of his PR agents pls tell him; May he rot in jail !

PoliticsRe: Godwin Emefiele's removal as Central Bank Nigeria governor & arrest is illegal ? by worksmart(op): 7:40am On Aug 18, 2023
CBN is mandated to periodically redesign Naira notes.
Corrupt politicians hoarding cash and probably doing other things to sabotage the exercise, were responsible for the hardship
Houseontherock1:
Emefailure also had no right to deny people access to their money through the stupid naira recoloration and artificial scarcity. For those saying Bubu supported him with the cash ish, know ye that Bubu only approved what Emefailure presented to him. 8f Emefailure didn't think of that evil way of using cash to fight us, Bubu would probably not have been able to think of that as one of our punishments

PoliticsRe: Godwin Emefiele's removal as Central Bank Nigeria governor & arrest is illegal ? by worksmart(op): 6:47am On Aug 18, 2023
That is not how the rule of law works.
adebayo987:
Right... but Emefiele deserves unconditional punishment. If he's released just wait and see how Nigerians will drag both the DSS, Judiciary and Tinubu up and down as co corrupt partners with Emefiele. Forget all the people trying to make sense of the constitution, a lot of Nigerians are happy with Emefiele's situation.

Take a look at Kanu, the entire SE are not happy, even their elders have asked both Buhari and Tinubu to release him.

But that of Emefiele, you'll even be risking your life if you come in the public to support him. He's the major reason our inflation index is at where it is today due to his policies. Many businesses shutdown because of Emefiele's wicked policies.

Please, allow him to stay where he is. Even if he's released, without heavy security presence around him his life is at risk. If he stays there for a long time, by the time he's released, most Nigerians have forgotten about him and he can even walk past you on the street. But now that his atrocities are still fresh on our minds, taaaah! Don't try it o. Let him even be happy he's locked and heavily guarded where he is now.

Max24:
Did he give the masses fair treatment when he enacted the cash swap? Do you know the damage it did to people's lives? And death?
PoliticsRe: Godwin Emefiele's removal as Central Bank Nigeria governor & arrest is illegal ? by worksmart(op): 2:29am On Aug 18, 2023
Suspension is removal because it removes him from his job and even toddler can understand that.

Emefiele is first focusing on getting released from detention before he can start the case about his removal I presume.

Like I already said Sanusi decided to drop his case against his removal, but he was never in custody and the Emirship was likely compensation negotiated behind closed doors.
ObaIgwe1:
Well both in English language and in the eye of the law Suspension is not same as removal or sack. I have worked for organisations and I am also an employer of labor, i should know.

You might need to Google on why SLS was suspended. It was based on nothing concrete. The only explanation from Jonathan was that the Government no longer has confident in Sanusi base on Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria, FRCN's annual report for that year. There were lot of debates by lawyers then unlike now, lawyers are no longer debating the legality of the suspension.

As for Emefiele, he has a running issue with DSS even before Tinubu came to power. It was Buhari that shielded him then. Whether DSS allegations are genuine or not, only the law court can decide and the matter is already in court.

Also, only the court can decide if the President has abused his power to suspend the CBN Govt. But as at of today, even Emefiele is not challenging his suspension and no Lawyer has gone to court to challenge the legality of the suspension... You can take up the honor of hiring a lawyer to challenge the suspension in court, because until a court rules otherwise, the suspension will be seen as normal.

Emefiele himself was a beneficiary of SLS's suspension. If the suspension of SLS by Jonathan was illegal, then Emefiele was also a partaker of illegality.
