[quote author=Beautyaddy post=63200959]Hmmm...I was in complete shock reading it too.

Infact, I'm lost for words embarassed
TWoods:
You committed a deportable offense that is not covered by your blue passport... but somehow you haven’t committed a crime? Amazing! How do you go to church on Sunday and keep a straight face?
]N
justwise:
A married couple that engaged in sham marriage for American passport is saying they did not commit any crime?

How morally low can we go and still claim that we are not doing anything wrong?

You lot can complain about Twoods approach as much as you want but truth must be told.

smh

@Wormie,why don't you come up with something better than this your cock and bull story. As at 2015,you were asking on Canada visa thread how to get visa to deliver there, then, all of a sudden you have gotten US passport and you are now employer of labour.
I actually do not have any reason to deceive or mislead anybody especially you on a faceless forum. But this account belong to my younger sister. She introduced me to NL and gave me this registered account to operate this site with.

Sounds like a lie, but that's the truth. I do not even have much time to come on NL sef. Remain blessed sir/ ma.

I salute Blows_job for creating this thread. It takes courage, not a small one sef.
Haba, but people can be judgmental sha. Stuffs happen to people at different point in time that determine their decisions.

Stop forming abeg, almost everybody wanna relocate to America. Be it Nigerians, Mexicans, Chinese, Ghanaians etc. That people change status especially on B1/B2 visa isn't peculiar to Nigerians alone. In my few years of staying in the US, I have seen enough.

Can I encourage anybody to relocate/change status here,oh yes! My own personal opinion, I prefer to stay in a sane environment pls. Naija too hard and harsh. Naija is like jungle, survival of the fittest grin

My short story of getting here. Few years ago,I came for a family vacation, my husband and my 2 children. Hubby had a good job with take home of like 20k that time. I was also in academics,so my pay too was ok, like 120k. We applied based on that, truthfully oh, and we were granted B1/B2 visa. Hubby just got a mail on our third night in the US,guess what,na sack letter! Gobe leyi ooooo.

We were devastated, didn't know what to do next. We just decided to manage stay for the remaining vacation period and head back home. But I told my mum about my husband sack letter. She come remember that one of her long lost family friends(Mr A) dey Yankee. We got the man contact and link up with him. We explained our situation to him and the man said our best bet is to stay put for Yankee oh. Naija hard na, hubby will come back home come to join the endless ocean of job seekers.

But Mr A over try for us no be small. He engaged ones of his friends wey be immigration lawyer to put us thru. Mr A offered to do marriage with me and he arranged one white lady to marry my husband, all at no cost. I won't go too deep into it more than this so it won't look as if I dey encourage bad bad thing oh lipsrsealed

We don get our Pali now, doing well in the US. We don't do crime or move with bad gang. And we be employer of labor.

My advice to anybody coming, be focus. It will be tough,no matter the means you come in with,it going to be tough. Naija work etiquette is quite different from Yankee own oh.

Now I'm waiting for supreme court judges to come judge this my matter now.....mchewwww.
Blows_jobs,I'm sorry for my long epistle on your thread.

My dear, if the highlighted sums is what you have, I don't think you can afford it. There are very good hospitals in Abuja that you can give birth with less than 500k if the quality of the service is what you are after. If you are after citizenship that's a different matter. If there's a complication you may spend more than what you normally should have spent which could wipe off your savings and probably leave you in debt. I don't see the visa officer approving your application based on the details you gave.
Thanks for the advice.
All my medical bills will be taken care of in Canada by a relative of mine, so as far as pay for my medical in Canada is concern, no problem.
The 1.5M naira is actually for my upkeep in Canada.
Now,if I'm able to prove and provide evidence of payment of my medicals in Canada, does it mean the VO won't still grant me visa? If yes, like how much should I have in my account for my upkeep that will convince the VO?

Hello house. Pls I need advice or help.

1. I want to give birth in Canada. That's my main and real purpose of going and I'm not really to lie or say otherwise at the embassy . I'm about 3 months pregnant now.

2. I have like 1.5 million naira in my account. Although, I intend using husband's account of 500k as support. I will be applying alone.

3. I am a federal civil servant with 83k monthly salary. But I have like 20k been
deducted every month from the source, that is before the salary hit my bank account, the 20k will have been deducted. But I have all d break down on my pay slip.

4. I have a land to my name and a car document that carries my name.

5. My international passport still carries my maiden name, got married this year. my passport will expire Nov 2016. Do I need to make a new passport with my married name? I have my marriage certificate, change of name in news paper, wedding pictures and every other thing that shows I'm truly married.

6. Lastly, I have never travel out of Nigeria before.

Pls experts on the house, what are my chances of getting tourist /medical visa to Canada ?
